Previously

The next day, Akko and Amanda's group were punished again, with the same punishment like yesterday. Instead of only the two of them, Mahiko was also with them, a professor specifically Professor Nelson, saw him folding the sheets last night which the wizard tried to come up an excuse on why he is doing this and not them. This made the professor assured but later she learned from the students who are witnesses during the night that the wizard insisted that the two teams to leave and retrieve the stone, which that excuse that the wizard said was a lie. When the two teams plus Diana, along with the professors and the headmistress returned to the school with the stone back in the campus, Professor Nelson reported to them about Mahiko being involved in the two teams' escapade. This made the professors and the headmistress scold the two teams, and told them that Mahiko will also be punished. And here they are now, in the laundry room with all of them doing their specific tasks and with Mahiko on the sidelines, quickly yet neatly folding as many sheets as he can.

"I guess you didn't my help after all Akko. You managed the situation just fine." Mahiko said and smiled at the girl, who awkwardly chuckles at him even though she couldn't see his smile thanks to his face mask.

"Sorry that you didn't get to help us Mahiko-san. You seem to want to help us from the beginning." Akko apologizes to him while she lifts another bag of unclean sheets of cloth.

"No worries Akko. I will get some action soon enough after all of this." Mahiko reassures her while he neatly folds as many clean cloths as fast as he can while she returns towards her friends and helps them.

While all of them were doing their own chore, with Amanda and Akko going at it again on their arguments with Lotte tried to calm them down, the staff of Mahiko that is leaning on a wall next to him, started vibrating and blinking colored blue. This made the wizard stop his chore, picked his staff up and went outside of the room for a more private conversation, when he saw there is no one present outside and the door closed of the room, he tapped his staff on the ground two times, until the crescent crown of the staff starts to glow and form a mirror-like projection inside.

"Eyo. Oh Hi Cuz! It has been a long time since I saw and heard of you. How were you? Good. Uh huh. I am doing good here as well. Students here are good, especially my friends. The professors? Yeah, they seem to be alright. What? You are coming here? When? How? OK, OK. It is a good thing that you called and said that you are coming, or else I'll be beating your ass for the sudden appearance. OK, see you soon Cuz." The conversation between Mahiko and his caller was short, but it is enough for the wizard to know what is going to happen. He ended the call by tapping his staff twice on the ground and his staff stopped glowing.

Mahiko sighed and went back to the laundry room with Amanda and Akko still going at it with Lotte trying to seperate them. He quietly went back to his task, placed his staff on the wall and started folded the clean sheets, being his 120th sheet.

'Time to prepare myself.' Mahiko thought to himself as he eyes focus on the task he is doing right now.

Third Person POV

In Professor Badcock's class, Metamorphosis magic, all of them were tasked to change a mouse that is placed in front of the chalkboard into any animal they can imagine in front of the entire class, with the professor on the side of the chalkboard evaluating their performance. Most of them were successful on performing metamorphosis magic, some even went on turning the mouse into some imaginary animals. The next student is Lotte Jansson who is about to perform her metamorphosis magic on the animal.

"Metamorphie Faciesse." Lotte spoke the words for the metamorphosis magic, with her wand waving a bit and pointed at the mouse, successfully turning it into a bunny.

"Metamorphie Faciesse." Sucy was next to cast her spell, which she just said it so plainly like she always say, indifferent. She points her wand at the mouse, turning the mouse into a bat, flapping its wings.

"Metamorphie Faciesse!" Diana casted her spell with confidence as she turned the mouse into a magnificent unicorn, a horse that resembles the Cavendish equine minus the horn on its forehead. The entirety of the class were amazed by Diana's metamorphosis magic as they applaud and vocally said their compliments towards Diana.

"As expected, a great perfomance from you. Next is Mr. Reinkarnasyon." Professor Badcock called out the facially disguised wizard, which he heard his name and went forth in front of the mouse.

"Metamorphie Faciesse." With a tap of his staff, it lightly glowed purple, signifying the usage of magic and cast the spell onto the mouse, turning it into a wyvern dragon as big as Headmistress Holbrooke. The dragon has golden scales, three heads and two spiked tails, standing straight on his hind legs with his wings spread wide and three heads raised upwards as they roared in unison.

The entire class gave the same reaction like Diana's performance, while some of the students were frightened by the wyvern, that includes Hannah and Barbara, with the exception of Diana who is impressed by Mahiko's display of spell incanting. Akko and Lotte were also at awe of the display with Sucy still having that indifferent look but still impressed, they started clapping alongside with the other students. After a few moments, Mahiko tapped his staff again, and the wyvern turned back to what it originally was, a mouse.

"An impressive display Mahiko, just as impressive as Diana's. I guess that everyone has successfully mastered their metamorphosis magic." Professor Badcock said, about to conclude her class until she heard her name being called out by Barbara.

"Excuse me Professor, but I think that Akko has yet to perform her metamorphosis magic."

"Oh! You are right Barbara. Miss Kagari, will you please come forth." The professor said, calling out Akko for her turn which she walked forward with confidence. She starts warming up a bit by rolling and massaging her shoulders.

"Alright! Metamorphie Faciesse!" Akko excitedly incanted the magic spell. After a few seconds passed, the mouse infront of her didn't change as the spell wasn't casted properly, while the japanese witch-in-training has yet to notice it.

"Akko! Akko!" Lotte whispers out loud for Akko to hear it. Akko turned her gaze at Lotte, Sucy and Mahiko and the other students who are laughing, with the exception of Diana Cavendish. Lotte was pointing at her own hat with a panicked look, Sucy is smiling next to her out of amusement and Mahiko standing behind them, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly. Then a poof of smoke appeared on top of Akko's head, flipping her hat with donkey ears appearing on top of her head.

"How in the world did this happened?!" Akko asked to herself while holding the newly formed donkey ears on her head, while the students laugh at her failed attempt on the metamorphosis magic. Lotte sighed in defeat because of Akko's let down, with Sucy and Mahiko still retaining their previous expression.

"It's because you didn't focus and concentrate your spell onto the mouse Akko." Mahiko whispered enough for the two girls in front of her to hear, while the laughing students fail to hear him.

"It appears that you are the only student who has yet to master one of the very basics of metamorphosis magic. To compensate for this let down, you only have until the end of the day to master this spell." Professor Badcock lectured the japanese girl, which the girl looked back at the professor with a panicked expression and commented.

"Until the end of the day?! I thought there was welcoming party that is happening tonight."

"That is right. A very special occasion, a welcoming party for a very special guest that we are honoring tonight, the Earl of Hanbridge." Professor Badcock said towards Akko, informing her about the event that is happening later at night.

Barbara and Hannah discussed among themselves about the appearance of the Hanbridge family in Luna Nova Academy, with Barbara Parker complementing the young heir who, in her words, is an esteemed gentlemen of an all-boys school named Appleton Academy, and lastly very handsome. The word "handsome" got into Akko's donkey ears, drifting her attention from the professor towards Hannah and Barbara, but Professor Badcock called out her name again, gaining the attention of the brunette.

"You aren't going to attend this evening event Miss Kagari. You are to stay in your room until you mastered the Metamorphosis spell. Do I make myself clear?!"

Akko, with a defeated look on her face, just accepted that she couldn't attend the ceremony. Lotte looked dissappointed that her friend couldn't join the event, while Sucy looked indifferent as always, but deep down she is also dissappointed like Lotte, Mahiko is also dissappointed on two different reasons. One is which that like the two girls, Akko couldn't join them, while the second reason is that he couldn't think of a way to help Akko in this situation since he has a different method in teaching other people. Yet he is confident that Akko can take this spell with ease.

Third Person POV

"I obviously stand out in this." The staff wielding wizard whispered with a light nervous tone, only making Lotte and Sucy, who are standing besides him hear what he said.

"It'll be alright Mahiko." Lotte tries to calm the slightly nervous wizard, which it worked while Sucy looked up to the facially disguised wizard with her usual indifferent expression.

The night has come, the welcoming party of the Hanbridge family is now complete, with every student of Luna Nova Academy forming a line from the hallway stairs up to the stage, with their eyes closed for some reason. With Headmistress Holbrooke lecturing the students to behave when the Hanbridge family arrive. The trio (leaving Akko out) were placed at the very back of the line, with Mahiko standing in between Lotte and Sucy. Being the tallest person in school made him stand out and the most noticable person throughout the organize cluster of students.

"Headmistress Holbrooke! They are here!" Professor Badcock suddenly appeared from the balcony, notifying everyone that the Hanbridge family has arrived.

The fanfare played by the workers started with the drums and a few brass instruments, until they started blaring their ceremonial piece. The door of the hallway opened with bodyguards holding the door opened, making the Hanbridge enter the campus. The Hanbridge that entered the school is composed of a man in his probable late 40's or 50's, a half bald person on his left, a blonde teen with a more enthusiastic expression on his right, and finally a teen behind the three, who looked like a younger version of the older person in the lead. While walking down the stairs, one by one, all of the students' attention went towards the younger version of the man.

These people are Paul Hanbridge, his son Andrew Hanbridge and his friend Frank, which the three of them are accompanied by a butler of sort. Whispering amongst themselves about how eye catching the young man is, fawning over him, with Hannah and Barbara intentionally saying "Wow!!!", however their leader, Diana Cavendish, remain indifferent unlike the other students. Almost as if she is dismayed by the man's presence inside the school.

"Well ain't he a pretty boy." Mahiko whispered to himself as he looked at the young Hanbridge.

After Headmistress personally welcomes the Hanbridge family, everyone went on their ways in the event. Lotte, and Sucy were eating their respective meals behind the long table filled with variety of dishes, with Mahiko standing besides Sucy with a plate of his own, but not eating with them since the obvious mask blocking his mouth.

"Wow, these marinated mushroom taste oh so good." Sucy went to grab more of it onto her plate and she keeps on eating them.

"It is a shame that Akko couldn't come, she would be delighted when it comes to these things." Lotte downheartedly said as she slowly taking a piece of her dish in her mouth.

"Knowing her Lotte, she would have." Mahiko said as he stood next to the two, Lotte notices that he isn't eating and asks him.

"Mahiko." Lotte asks him, trying to gain his attention which it worked as the said wizard stopped staring at his plate.

"Hmm?" Mahiko said as he looks away from his plate, towards Lotte.

"Aren't you going to eat that?" Sucy joins in the conversation as she points her fork towards the plate that Mahiko is holding.

"Oh. I was about to Sucy."

"Then go on, unless you have something to hide." Sucy bluntly said, making the wizard even more nervous.

"Sucy, you shouldn't be so blunt towards other people." Lotte scolded the mushroom-obsessed girl which Sucy shrugs it off.

"It is OK Lotte. You know how blunt Sucy can be." Mahiko tries to be assuring as possible towards the ginger haired girl, as she keeps on lecturing her friend about her bluntness. While the two are bickering, Professor Ursula notices them and walks towards the trio.

"What is it that I hear about Akko couldn't come." Professor Ursula said as she stood next Lotte.

"Professor Ursula." Mahiko greeted the professor which she acknowledge his greetings to her.

"Professor Badcock ordered her to stay in her dorm." Lotte was about to finish her explanation until Sucy butts in finishing her sentence.

"She isn't allowed to come here to the event until she finishes her metamorphosis magic." Sucy said as she smiled down at her plate and continues to eat her marinated mushroom.

"Akko, practicing the spell all by herself, that would be cumbersome." Professor Ursula said with a hint of dissappointment laced in it.

"Do not worry Professor, I am sure that Akko will manage on this metamorphosis magic. She is persistent like she always." Mahiko tries to convince the Professor, which it worked.

Akko was sitting cross-legged on her bed, with a book opened on her lap and her wand on her right hand. She has been doing this magic spell ever since class finished, she is irritated by the fact that she couldn't come to the event because Professor Badcock forbid her in coming unless she mastered this spell, which she still struggles on doing so. While irritated, she calmed down after that and focused on improving her spell casting, on the subject that is infront of her.

"Visualize. Visualize." Akko murmured to herself with her eyes closed, trying to concentrate.

"You are a rabbit. A rabbit." Akko then opened her hardened eyes filled with determination and looked at the subject infront of her. A mouse trapped in a cage.

"Metamorphie Faciesse!" Akko casted her spell as her wand point towards the subject, but nothing happened after a few second. The results were the same as before, instead of the subject being affected by the metamorphosis magic, it is Akko who is affected. With a plume of smoke, animal ears appeared on top of her head, however, instead of donkey ears, they're bunny ears.

"Oh come on! That's not suppose to happen!" Akko whined at her failed attempt on the metamorphosis spell, again, as she slump her back at her bed.

"I guess you are right." Professor Ursula said as she stood next to Lotte, grabbing a plate of her own.

"I told you." Mahiko said, until he looks down at his plate. He feels his nervousness resurfaced as he raise his hand and is about to pull down his mask, but his nervous hands were noticed by the three girls, with Professor Ursula looking worried, knowing that the wizard has a reason in hiding his face.

"Is there something wrong Mahiko?" Lotte asked as she saw the wizard's hand shaking in front of his mask.

"If you are going to pull it down, just pull it down." Sucy bluntly stated as she watches his fidgeting hand going closer to his mask.

"Sucy!" Lotte shouted towards the girl.

"It is just that, I am not comfortable eating infront of everyone." Mahiko, carefully said towards the two girls.

"It is just us Mahiko, unless you are hiding something." Sucy said as she looked at the wizard intently.

"It is OK Mahiko if you don't to eat in front of us. There are reasons that people wear those kind of things right?" Professor Ursula suddenly barged in, trying to ease the tension between the wizard and the two witches.

"I'm OK with Professor Ursula, there are reasons on why people do what they do. So you don't have to take it off if you aren't comfortable about it." Lotte joins in, trying to comfort the young wizard.

"Thank you Lotte." Mahiko said, finally persuaded by his two friends, lowers his hand down, away from his mask. Letting out a sigh, knowing that his secret is still intact, which he is not yet ready to reveal his secret to his associates.

"But I wanna know what he hides under that." Sucy on the other hand, urges the wizard to pull his mask down.

"Sucy!" Lotte scolded her again, for her bluntness. Mahiko watch the two bicker, but not the same kind of bickering like Sucy and Akko do, but like a disagreement. Before he could say anything else to them, something or someone, covered his field of vision which includes his glasses, from seeing anything. Along with feeling the weight on his back pulling him down, making him bend back a bit.

"Guess who~?" A playful voice rang onto his ears, gaining Lotte's, Sucy's and Professor Ursula's attention towards the wizard.

"With your voice, I doubt that anyone couldn't recognize you." Mahiko said as he use his other free hand to grab that person's hand from covering his sight away.

"That is what I like about you Hiko-chan~ You recognize me, the original one~" That person said with glee as that person got off of his back and appeared next to him.

This made Lotte, Sucy and Professor Ursula's attention towards the new comer. This new comer is taller than most of them, yet this person is shorter than Mahiko by many inches, a gingerette like Lotte but a much deeper shade of orage than her. The noticeable feature of this new comer are the clothes that the person is wearing, which reminds them of solitaire cards, a red stained white rose on lapel of the suit, and the obvious red diamond mark under the left eye. This cause Lotte to gain a small blush at the sight of another pretty boy, with the Professor and Sucy just stared at the newly arrived boy with a raised eyebrow.

"Mahiko? Who is this person?" Lotte asked the tall wizard about the person next to him.

"Lotte, Sucy, Professor Ursula, I want you all to meet my cousin. Cater Diamond." Mahiko motioned his hands towards his cousin.

The newly introduced, Cater Diamond just flashed a toothy grin towards the three girls and waved happily at them, as if he has met them before. Walking towards the three, Cater shook their hands with such glee.

"Nice to meet you all! As you already heard from this man behind me, I am his cousin on his mother's side! Nice to meet you all!" Cater greeted each and everyone of them. This got everyone's attention, some even looking at the person with a quizzical expression, yet most of the students are fawning over the handsome man, already comparing the handsomeness of this man compared to Andrew Hanbridge.

"Ok Cater. They got it already. Stop it." Mahiko tries to calm the-ever-so-enthusiastic cousin of his into catching more attention but it only made him pulled out his phone of his that has some wacky design on the casing.

"Everyone say "Cheese"!!!" Cater said as he smoosh the three girls together and with him behind them, and took a selfie with the witches.

"Cater!" Mahiko lightly shouted his cousin's name, but fell deaf to his ears.

"I'm gonna post this on Magicame, mind telling me your names?" Cater asked the three girls who are still confuse and daze from the camera flash from his cellphone.

"L-l-lotte Jansson." Her eyes are still swirling.

"Sucy Manbavaran." Her head is spinning ever so slightly

"U-u-ursula Callistis." Her reaction is as same as Lotte's.

"Hehehehe, #Meetingmycousin #Meetingcutegirls #Firsttimeinanallgirlsschool and #WelcometoLunaNovaAcademy. Aaand Done." Cater finished typing and uploading his post into Magicame, making Mahiko shook his head at his cousin's usual antics.

"Makes me wonder how in Eru's sake am I related to you." Mahiko whispered to himself, shaking his head while watching his cousin interact with his associates.

"You could have visited me in a much more appropriate time Cuz. In a much more appropriate place, I mean look at this place." Mahiko said while he motions to hundreds of students who are still staring at them. His cousin and grinned at Mahiko and just wrap his arm around the wizard's neck, bending him down a bit into his level.

"Come now Maho, you know I can't wait to see you~" Cater said as poke his cousin's cheek with his pointer finger.

"But in my school? You just caught a lot  of attention from my classmates, and especially from my professors. You know how much I don't like being the center of attention." Mahiko grumbled a bit.

"Hehehe, come on Hiko-chan, have a little attention once in a while. It will get you popular someday~" Cater said, trying to lighten his cousin's mood but only made Mahiko look at him with a deadpanned face.

"Don't make me call your prefect Cater." Mahiko threatened him, but his threat just made Cater chuckle at his attempt.

"Ne ne, you need to lighten a bit Hiko-chan~" Cater said as he gave his cousin a noogie with his other hand, messing the tall wizard's purple hair.

"I just combed this hair for the special occassion Cater. Don't mess it up." Mahiko whined, unwrapping Cater's arm around his neck and tries to fix his hair, while Cater on the other hand just lightly laugh it off. While Lotte, Sucy and Professor Ursula regained their composure and looked how the two boys interact.

"Umm. Mr. Diamond, right?" Professor Ursula asks the cousin of Mahiko, which caught the diamond painted booy.

"Just call me "Cater" Ma'am, calling me "Mr. Diamond" just makes me feel old~ I am still young and still has some dreams that I wish to do while I am still young." Cater corrects the Professor while grinning at the blunette professor.

"Very well Cater, how did get in this school without any permission from the staff members of our school?" Professor Ursula asked the diamond marked boy, taking his attention away from his cousin.

"Simple, I sneaked in here. No one noticed me, not your headmaster, not the professor, heck not even your students. Hehehehe." Cater explained and giggled at his action, making Lotte and Professor Ursula formed a panicked expression while Sucy still remained indifferent yet she didn't finished her plate.

"W-w-wouldn't that be considered as breaking and entering?" Lotte stuttered as she pointed her shaking finger at Mahiko's cousin.

"It's not breaking and entering if someone you know is inside and allowed you in." Cater countered back with his usual carefree behavior while grinning.

"My cousin is a sneaky one, trust me Lotte. He could do many crazy things while your back is turned. Like one time, while I was sleeping, he manage to paint my face into some weird lines." Mahiko complained making his arms crossed while under his guise, he is a bit irritated.

"That's in the past Hiko-chan~ Are you still angry about it?~" Cater teased his tall cousin, making him turned his head and give him a glare, not quite noticeable due to his glasses.

"That paint lasted for a week Cater. And it so happens to get in the way of my picture day." Mahiko snarled, gripping his staff tightly from irritation while Cater just lightly laughs it off. The trio just stood there, watching the two related people interact with one another.

"OK then, Lotte, Sucy, I best be off then. I have to look after Akko's progress on her Metamorphosis magic. See you then." Professor Ursula waved at the two witches and left them.

"See you Professor." Both Lotte and Sucy waved the professor's retreating figure, with Sucy doing it with less effort than Lotte's.

"Oh, Mahiko, please keep an eye on your cousin please? The professors don't want another commotion happening during the event. They are already having a hard on having connections with the Hanbridge." Professor pleads to the tall wizard while Cater hums as he looks at the interior design of the auditorium of Luna Nova Magical Academy.

"Rest assured Professor Ursula, my cousin will be in my hands." Mahiko said while nodding at the professor. Professor Ursula nods in acknowledgement and retreats towards where the Red Team's room is.

"So Hiko-chan~ Mind telling me how you met these two cute girls?~" Cater asked the tall wizard, who the tall wizard just rubbing his face out of exhaustion, while Lotte lightly blush at the comment Cater said towards them, but Sucy remains unaffected by his compliments.

"This is going to be a long night." Mahiko said to himself as he further introduce his cousin towards Sucy and Lotte, but he couldn't introduce Cater to Akko for she is not present in the event, but he might be able to since he knows both his cousin and Akko that they are sneaky little people, and are able to escape from their awkward position.

The four of them talked on so many topics that they didn't even notice that the entertainment started. The headmistress and the Hanbridge patriarch were talking amongst themselves while the next heir to the Hanbridge family with his blonde friend left the area accompanied with Diana. Both of them were given a tour by Diana herself around the school campus, trying to make them familiarize with the structure, the areas that are restricted and such.

Third Person POV

After the headmistress gave Diana the authority of giving both Andrew and Frank a tour around the school, she accepts it and does what the headmistress requested her to do. Throughout the tour during the night, Diana only spoke when she is introducing the two students of Appleton Academy the parts of the school, a brief history and such. Yet when there is no such important detail to be said, she stops talking with a silence that was completely obvious between Diana and Andrew while Frank just smile next to his friend, although an awkward one.

Frank, being a more happy and carefree of the three, tries to spark a conversation, while being a success, the conversation completely depletes the mood by Andrew's poor choices of words. Speaking what he has in his mind, Andrew's words came out a bit blunt, too blunt for Frank's and Diana's taste, with Frank awkwardly tries to reprimand his friend's words towards Diana, and with the platinum haired girl remained compose and calm, letting Andrew's word fly in from one ear and exit to the other one. In another attempt to spark a livelier conversation, Frank said a question that caught the platinum blond's attention.

"By the way, do you happen to know a certain someone here? You know like a tall person, has purple hair, weird looking facial disguise and has that black, weird looking stick?" Frank asked Diana with his usual smile, while the three kept on walking in the corridors.

"You must be referring to the school's only male student here." Diana answered

"Male student? Here in Luna Nova Academy?" Andrew asked her, baffled by the fact that this school accepts male students, and also baffled that this student still accepts the "obsolete" ways, in his term.

"I didn't know this school also accept male students. I've always been told that this is an all-girls school." Frank remembered the words of his father about this magic school and regarding the single-gender education that the campus has been doing for the past many centuries.

"Right you are Frank, this is a single-gender school, however due to various circumstances and problems encountered by the staff members of the school, we manage to have him here. Mahiko Reinkarnasyon is his name. He is our latest and probably our first male student here in this institution." Diana answered Frank's question, regarding about the male student, making both Frank and Andrew more intrigued about the topic.

"Really? Mind telling us more about this wizard of yours?" Andrew aksed her, more curious about him.

"We rarely interact in person, so what I am about to say is based on my observation during the time that we are in the same class." Diana paused for a few seconds, trying to remember all the times that she analyze the wizard student.

"Like what Frank briefly said before, with his tall stature, you can easily identify him from the rest of us here and being the tallest person here with the exception our workers. Unlike us witches and for particular reasons, he wields as staff, which you Frank refered to as a "black, weird looking stick" rather than the school's training wand. As for the facial disguise, I have yet to find a reason on why he needed such things as all of us have yet to see what he truly looks like under the disguise." Diana paused for a bit and continued.

"Another thing is that he is an exceptional student, able to do task as such ease with the exception of our Magical Pharmaceutics subject, and with his best subject here being Magic Dueling, I could say that we are on par with one another." Diana ended her statement about the young wizard's brief background via her observation. With that explanation, it made both Frank and Andrew looked at her with a surprise face, with Frank gaping in awe.

"Wow! Someone on par with you? I definitely want to meet this guy." Frank gleefully said as the thought of meeting this figure made him smile even more.

"I didn't think that you, Diana Cavendish, whom this school refer to as "The Pride of Luna Nova Academy" would actually claim that this wizard to be your rival." Andrew remarked, like Frank, wants to personally meet this wizard.

"Again, that is only based on my observation, I only manage to get a glimpse of what he can do, and with those skills of his on magic casting and such." Diana said, assuming that her observation on him were correct.

"Do you know the reason on why he choose to enter an all-girl's academy?" Andrew is now completely intrigue from this Mahiko person.

"Unfortunately, no. The reason for him to be enrolled here was by both: his personal reasons, and through a recommendation by a former student here. Those are what the staff members told me when I asked about Mahiko's decision on entering Luna Nova Academy, rather than going a school who teach wizards." She stated as a frown formed on the surface of Andrew's face, not clearly satisfied by her answer.

"Then maybe try asking him about his reasons. Surely he can be a conversationalist like my friend over here." Andrew points at Frank, trying to insinuate the assumption that this student is much like his friend, an extrovert.

"I find that doubtful Andrew, having a face-to-face conversation with him is a rarity to occur, since he associated himself with students who struggles at maintaining, mostly Lotte, Sucy, and Akko. And from our last conversation, the manner of his speech and movement, I am going to assume that he is someone who respects others privacy and likes to present himself very formally. So he might be a bit hesistant on giving off such important information." Diana answered Andrew's question, making the boy's frown still plastered on his adored face.

"Such a shame, he would have been an excellent student if he were to be enrolled in Appleton Academy and abandon the obsolete methods of the old. I tried to think of a reason on why this wizard needs to follow this old way, I guess he still believes in such childish antics." Andrew said on what he thought in his mind a bit too bluntly, making Frank nervously chuckles and tries to lighten up the conversation.

"Come on now Andrew, lighten up a little bit will ya? Aren't you going a little bit too far into this conversation?" Frank tried to lighten it up, but it was a bit of a flop. The tour guide stops her stride, making the two also stop in the tracks.

"We are prohibited from passing this point of our tour. Follow me on this path." Diana continues walking towards a different direction, leaving the two behind with Frank scolding Andrew.

"What in the world Andrew?! That is really uncalled for!"

"I guess my choices of words may have been too blunt for it." Andrew said neutrally, making his friend sigh out of exasperation and continue his stride on the tour.

"You really are something else Andrew." Frank downheartedly said and sighed at his friends straightforwardness and continues to follow Diana. While Andrew is contemplating and being left behind for a bit, his eyes caught a certain student trying to sneak into the campus.

Akko's POV

I failed many times on that metamorphosis spell, even with me using Shiny Rod, I was still unable to cast it. I was able to use Shiny Rod back then, one from the orientation and the other from the Papilliodya, now I can't. I was about to give up but then this will undo everything I dreamed to be, this is not me at all. I came into this school to learn and become just like Shiny Chariot, and I will intend to become just like her no matter what. Trying to think of a way to help me improve my spell casting, a sudden thought came into my mind, I grabbed one of my cards and found the "Fountain of Polaris" card.

"The Fountain of Polaris. It gives magic of a great star to a witch with hidden potential." I red the description outloud.

I went for more info about the fountain in the variety of books in the shelf. I red a few lines until I found my answer, it so happens that this fountain is located here in the school, more specifically in the very edge of the north campus, just past the arc of the big dipper. Doing so with haste, I left the room with Shiny rod in my waist.

And here I am, sneaking away from my studies and wanting my hidden potential to be realized. I then hides behind on one of the pillars of door, after I saw someone heading towards my direction, I think I am perfectly hidden from the person, but I think I need to hide more of myself since these bunny ears my give away my position. After a few moments, I no longer hear the footstep, thinking that the person left, I left a sigh of relief. Wanting this investigation to be private as possible without anyone scolding me, mostly from Professor Finnelan or from Diana.

About to leave the area, I felt something just touch my bunny ears, still having my bunny attributes, the sensitive ears is one thing. I lightly screech, reeling forward until my knees and palms touch the ground, letting one of my hand scratch my touched bunny ear, trying to rid of the sensitive sensation.

"Hey, what did you that for?!" I asked the person who touched my bunny ears with an irritated voice, still scratching my bunny ears.

"My apologies lady." A calm, male voice rang into my ears. Wait. Male? I only know one male student, but Mahiko's voice was a little bit deeper than this person. The sensation on my bunny ears washed over my curiosity and turned into irritation.

"You should be sorry you little!----" I was about to shout towards this person's face, but when I fully took a look on his face, I saw a very handsome person. With green calculating eyes piercing to mine like trying to scan me. Feeling embarassed a bit for my actions, a small blush ran up to my cheeks as I try to say something towards them him. Then his eyes turned its attention to my bunny ears and did the same thing that irritated me.

"KYAAAAAAAAAA!!!" I screamed so loud that I could be heard throughout the campus.
