Dear Lance,
Happy birthday, Lance! How does it feel to be 17? Did you have a party? Did your friends get you gifts? Did you get a cake? I hope your birthday is going great! This is your first birthday without me. Crazy huh? Even though I'm not with you celebrating I still got you a gift! I don't have a lot of money but I did manage to make you something that you'd like. Can you guess what it is? Actually it's multiple things. First, I made you a photo album of all our pictures together including that one embarrassing picture when that seal took off your swim trunks and ate it. That was a great day. Second, I made an art album of sorts where I put all my art pieces I made for you in a little booklet. And finally I wrote you a song. It's kinda sad but I thought you'd like it. I wrote you a lot of songs actually. I recorded them put them all on a tiny flash drive shaped like a dolphin. Adorable, right? It's on a necklace so that way you can always carry it with you. I can't wait to give you all my gifts. Happy birthday, Lance! Te amo con todo mi corazón.
