📌 THE STAGE IS SET

Author: The studio lights flicker on, illuminating a grand stage with a modern yet slightly chaotic setup. The "On Air" sign glows a dramatic red above me, signaling the start of something extraordinary—or disastrous, depending on how well my characters behave.

At the center of the stage is my polished wooden desk, complete with a sleek microphone, a stack of question cards (which I may or may not follow), and a cup of coffee that is absolutely necessary for surviving what’s to come. Across from me are two velvet armchairs for my guests—one for the more polite characters and the other… reinforced for the rowdier ones.

The background is adorned with a giant digital screen displaying snippets of scenes from my stories: a burning city from ‘Plague 2022,’ a dark palace from my Japanese fantasy, and a run down school from ‘Human Trash.’ The stage crew (if they existed) would be panicking right now, wondering why this mashup of worlds even makes sense.

A deep red curtain frames the back of the stage, and a row of empty audience chairs sit in front—reserved for my dear readers, because let’s be honest, they’ll be gasping, laughing, and possibly yelling at me alongside the characters.

I take a deep breath and adjust my cue cards. This is it. The ultimate talk show where I, the mastermind behind their existences, sit face-to-face with my very own creations. Some will thank me, some will complain, and a few might outright try to fight me.

A loud crash echoes from backstage.

“HEY! Who took my sword?!”

“Oh, quit whining. At least you have weapons in your story! I had to fight off zombies with my bare hands!”

…Yeah. This is going to be interesting.

Author: I clear my throat and flash a charming host-like smile at the invisible audience. “Welcome, everyone, to Talk with Them, the show where I interview the very characters I’ve created, much to their joy—or utter resentment.”

The lights flicker again. A bad omen? Maybe. But there's no turning back now.
