Saturday, Alex and I stay home. All of our friends are doing something so there's really nothing to do.

Alex sits on the couch and I lay my head in his lap, playing with the promise ring he gave me. It suddenly made me think about what Eliza told me. Would he cheat on me? I can't stop thinking about it.

I jump when I feel his hand on my head. "S-sorry," I stutter.

"I didn't mean to scare you. Are you okay? You've been really quiet all day."

I sit up "What? Yeah. Of course I'm okay. Never been better," I say and give him a nervous smile.

He raises and eyebrow. "Something's troubling you. You know you can tell me anything."

I sigh. "Eliza told me something..."

"Eliza?"

I nod. "S-she said you would ch-cheat on me."

"Don't listen to anything she says. She's just jealous."

"She also said you cheated on her."

"I did," he says and looks down. "With J-Jefferson."

"Jefferson? As in Thomas Jefferson?"

He nods. I knew he was bisexual, I just never knew he ever did anything with a guy besides me.

"But, I would never ever cheat on you."

"Promise?" I say holding out my pinkie.

"Promise."
