"John motherfucking Laurens if you don't get your ass in gear I swear!" Peggy yells at me.

"Calm down, jeez." She grabs my arm and pulls me through the door of the mall. We were going shopping together as an early birthday present.

"Lets go to Hollister first," she says and I follow her into the store.

I carry a few of Peggy's bags and we go to a Starbucks.

"Double chocolate chip Frappuccino and..." she trails off and looks at me.

"A pumpkin spice latte."

"You're so basic," she teases.

"What? They're good."

She smiles. "Whatever."

After a little bit, the barista gives us our drinks and we sit down at a table.

"Sooo.." she says."

"Soooo.."

"You got a crush?"

I feel my face heat up. "W-what? No of course not."

"Let me guess. Either Alex or Francis."

"Damn it."

"Which one?"

"Both?"

"Wait, what?"

"I like both of them.."

"Aww."

"Yeah, But I don't want to break their hearts by being with one of them," I sigh.

"Which one do you want to be with more?"

"Alex.."

"If you love him, go get him. What are you waiting for?"

"He's with Eliza again, remember?"

"But I can tell he misses you."

"How?"

"Magic. No I saw him almost kiss you in the hallway the other day."

My face goes red and I look down. "Oh y-you saw that?"

"Yep!"

I look behind her and see Alexander and Eliza and put my head down.

"What's wrong?"

"Alex and Eliza are here."

"Oh. Fuck, I didn't think they were gonna be here."

"God dammit they're coming over here," I say and take out my phone and Peggy does the same.

"Hey guys," Eliza says as she walks up to us.

"Hey sis," Peggy says and looks at the bags Eliza's holding. "What'd ya get me?"

Eliza pulls the bags behind her. "None of your business yet."

Eliza and I have kinda made up. She's stopped being mean to me all that much and she's actually really caring and nice.

"Fine brat," Peggy says and sticks her tongue out at Eliza. "Why don't you two sit with us?"

"Okay." Eliza pulls a chair beside Peggy and sits down and Alex sits beside me.

"So Peggy, hows your day been?" Alex asks.

She makes a disgusted face and replies, "Good so far. John helped me pick out a really cute dress."

"Really?" he says and looks at me.

I feel my face go red. "Yep. I did."

Alex grabs my hand under the table and intertwines our fingers. I look at him and he gives me a 'please don't say anything' look. I nod and quickly look away.

"Yeah and the lady at Forever 21 though we were dating and I was psych bitch he's gay as fuck and Jeggy is a brotp," Peggy says and Eliza laughs a little bit.

"How are things with Maria?"

"Amazing! She's the best girlfriend ever!" Peggy says, practically yelling.

Eliza smiles and looks at me. "So John. What about you and that Francis kid. You seem pretty close."

"Oh n-no we're not together. Just friends."  I hold Alex's hand tighter, reassuring him.

"Oh. Well I still think you two would be cute together."

"Thanks Eliza."

She checks the time on her phone. "Oh shoot. We gotta go. Bye Pegs. Bye John," Eliza says standing up. She turns around and Alex kisses my cheek and follows Eliza.

"Were you holding hands under the table?" Peggy says after they leave.

"No, of course not."

"You're a terrible liar John."

Sorry for not updating :/ I just wanted to put school first for a little bit. Ima try to update on weekends tho. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
