Valhalla

He groaned weakly, his eyes flickering open and he began to sit up. Loki felt sore, his neck stiff, but it wouldn't crack. His surroundings were blindingly bright and he raised an arm to shield his eyes.

"Where am I...?" The God mumbled.

The last thing he could remember was being on the ship with Thor and- and Thanos. His first thought was that he was in Hel, but it was too bright, too welcoming.

When the Prince's eyes finally adjusted, he noticed a tall figure standing off to the side. Soft features. A warm smile. Frigga.

"M-mother..?" Loki felt tears pricking in the corners of his eyes as he looked down, "-no. It can't be. You'd be in Valhalla, there is no way I have been taken to Valhalla. Not after the monster I have turned out to be..."

"Loki..." Her sweet voice lifted his eyes to meet her own again, "You are anything but a monster... You have redeemed yourself, my boy.."

Frigga approached Loki and Loki stood, allowing his mother to embrace him.

"I have missed you-" The raven-haired God's voice broke as the tears spilled onto his cheeks and he wrapped his arms around the All-mother, "am I really here. Valhalla?"

"No." She shook her head and stepped away from the now weeping God of Mischief.

His eyebrows curved up in confusion and he frowned, "Wha-"

"My dear boy, it is not your time. You must help Thor, he needs you now more than ever." She stepped forward, embracing him once more, "please. For me, for your brother, Loki..."

The Prince looked up at his mother and nodded. At once, Frigga kissed her son's forhead and turned him around, "You must go now." She whispered, "I love you Loki."

As Loki was turned around, he saw a portal that would take him back to the living.

I don't want to leave her. I want to stay here forever, in peace...

No- I must help Thor.

"And I you, dear mother... I will not fail you this time. Not a again.."
