Adrien wakes up early the next day and transforms into Chat Noir. He looks around Paris. He notices everything is peaceful.

      Marinette wakes up early as well, so she transforms into Ladybug.   She takes a look around and sees Chat. She sits down beside him.

      Chat looks up to see who joins him. He is glad to see it is his lady. 

      "Hi, m' lady!  What brings you here at this hour?"  Chat says.

      "Hi, Chat!  I could ask you the same thing."  Ladybug says. 

      "I woke up early," Chat answers.

     " Same here,"  Ladybug says.

      Chat feels himself blush under the mask as Ladybug leans in close. He closes his eyes to await whatever comes his way.

      Ladybug carcasses his cheek with her hand, but pulls away when she finds herself unsure how to respond to the closeness. She blushes.

   "Chat, what are we?" Ladybug asks.

      Chat opens his eyes disappointment shown on his face as he responds, "We are partners, friends, nothing more,"

   He sounds hurt as he tells her the cold, hard truth. He looks down in shame. 

     Ladybug wishes she could reassure him he is wrong.  She cannot because she knows it to be true. She has feelings for Adrien Agreste. She is not about to lie about it. She swings away.

     Chat feels his heartbreak again from rejection. He cannot take it anymore. He goes to the park where he weeps for the broken relationship with Ladybug. 

     Hawkmoth can tell Chat Noir is down. He laughs his sinister laugh. 

    "I sense a poor, distraught hero, down on his luck, and love," Hawkmoth remarks.

     "Go, my little Akuma, and evilize him,"  Hawkmoth says.

      The akuma flaps until it reaches Chat it hits him.  Hawkmoth grins, as he says,  "Chat Blanc, I can give you the power to make ladybug love you.  All you have to do is bring me yours and Ladybug's miraculous," 

     Chat Noir struggles to resist the power but finds it difficult.  "Yes, Hawkmoth," Chat says.
