CINDERELLA (METHOD TO MADNESS)

When you were young you lived a nice peaceful childhood with your parents in the kingdom's capital port town. Your father was a nobleman who made enough to allow his family to live comfortably. Your family raised you with as much love as they could while sharing stories of adventures and enjoying their nights gazing at the stars.

One day however your mother died through an illness. While your father was grief ridden he would always put you first. In order for you to continue growing up with a mother your father remarried to the socialite Lady Cassandra who had two daughters of her own named Catrina and Sandra.

One day, your father sailed away to go on a business trip, but a terrible storm blew and he never came back. When it was confirmed that your father had passed away your step family's cruel nature revealed itself. Being jealous of your charm and beauty you were forced to do every chore in the house while they were off enjoying the lives of high class ladies. While they spent your father's fortune on themselves you were forced to sleep in the attic with only shabby peasant clothes to wear.

While leaving was tempting there weren't many places that you could go as a child without any money. Your stepmother knew everybody in town so it was hard for you to earn a stable job, so you decided to bide your time.

When you were old enough you began scrounging up funds by taking up odd jobs from people not under your stepmother's thumb such as at the docks.

Today, after you finished your morning chores you went into town to earn a job loading cargo off a ship for the day while your step family went shopping.

Once you placed the last box of cargo off the vessel the man who owned the ship walked up to you with your pay. "Thank you for your help. Here's your pay."

You give him a smile as you take the cash and place it in your satchel. "Thanks Finnegan, if you have any more work for me before you sail let me know."

Finnegan chuckles before ruffling your hair. "I'll see what I can do about giving you more work next time."

You nod with a smile as you wave him off and walk through the streets of town while smiling at your (f/c) satchel. (With this, it should only be a matter of time before I can leave. Not really sure what I'll do when I-!)

"THERE HE IS!"

You pause and look ahead to see a skinny peasant boy around your age with short black hair and a straw hat hanging from his neck running towards you with a group of guards running after him.

"GET BACK HERE!" One of the guards yells.

The boy wearing a straw hat just laughs as he jumps onto an abandoned cart and rides down the street towards you. You widen your eyes in utter shock at the display before trying to run away, but before you can get out of the way the boy grabs your arm and pulls you onto the cart with him.

You blink in surprise at the crazy ride. "Why the hell did you drag me along?!"

The boy chuckles as he places the straw hat on his head. "You looked like you were running too."

"I was running away from the cart!"

He laughs at that while you groan in frustration then widen your eyes as you look back to see the guards catching up, so you push the wheels to make the cart go faster. The boy tilted the cart to make it turn left and roll down a hill so fast that the guards couldn't catch up.

You sigh in relief until you look ahead to see that the two of you rolled out of town and were heading straight for a lake.

"Shit!" You grab the boy by the arm then jump out with him just before the cart crashed into the water. You looked at your bag frantically to make sure that you didn't lose anything while the boy was laughing.

"Shishishi, that was great!"

You widen your eyes at the smile then couldn't help but laugh along with him. "Hahaha ok, I'll admit that was fun. Who exactly are you?"

"I'm Luffy. What's your name?"

"I'm (y/n), what did you do to get the guards chasing you?"

"I didn't do anything. I was exploring the docks when the guards spotted me and started chasing me."

You stare at him blankly, but you could tell that he wasn't lying. "Seriously?"

"Yea, I was only looking around to buy a ship."

"A ship?"

"Yea, I'm gathering up a pirate crew. Hey, do you wanna join?"

You look at him in confusion. "Are you serious? You don't even know me."

He tilts his head in confusion as if you had just said something stupid. "So what, we're friends aren't we?"

You could only stare at the boy before chuckling. "Sure, I'll join. I was planning on leaving home anyway."

"Great! Meet me here in two days! I can introduce you to the rest of the crew!"

"Ok, I gotta get home now. I'll see you later." You wave him off as you walk home. (Awesome, I can leave sooner than planned!)

Luffy watches you leave with soft grin when a green haired guard showed up from a random direction. "There you are Luffy. You know you can't wander into town without a bodyguard."

Luffy groans at the guard's nagging. "Oh come on Zoro. Walking around with a bodyguard's boring. I couldn't find a good ship with grandpa's guards around."

"True, the king would give you another fist of love for going out to buy a pirate ship. We should head back before he finds out you're out on your own and gives you a fist of love anyway."

Luffy shudders at that before heading back to the castle. "Ok, let's go. Good news though I found another crewmate."

He quirks an eyebrow before grinning. "Oh really? Does she know you're a prince?"

Luffy looks at him blankly while picking his nose. "Nope."

The guard looks at him in shock before face palming. "What the hell?!"

He casually shrugs. "The subject didn't come up. Besides, since we're becoming pirates that stuff doesn't matter."

"How are we going to leave without your grandpa finding out anyway?"

"We'll figure something out. Let's get going, I'm starving."

Zoro sweat drop at his prince's carefree attitude before following him back to the castle that resides in town.

"THIS PLACE IS A MESS!" Your stepmother slapped you across the face after they arrived home while you were cleaning the kitchen. "I was expecting this place to be spotless and all we get is a pigsty! Don't tell me you've been looking for a job again!"

You groan as you caress your aching cheek. "No, I fell asleep. I'm sorry." (Sorry that I can't leave yet...)

Lady Cassandra groans in irritation. "After all that we do for you, you still have the nerve to be lazy."

"Maybe you should punish her." Sandra says as she smirks at you.

Catrina nods at the suggestion. "I think that's a great idea. What do you think momma?"

Lady Cassandra nods. "I think that's a good idea. Once you're finished making dinner tonight you're not to go to bed until every room in this house is spotless."

You slowly nod while your step family left the room causing you to quietly groan. (I just gotta hang on for two more days... I hope that Luffy guy keeps his word on taking me with him. It would be pretty fun to live like a pirate.)

You got to work on getting dinner ready while silently daydreaming on living the pirate life.

Later that evening in the royal palace princes Ace, Sabo, and Luffy start heading to the study where their grandfather called them to meet.

Luffy grumbles in annoyance as he drags his feet with his brothers. "What does grandpa want from us this time?"

Sabo sighs while running a hand through his blonde hair. "I'm not sure. Maybe he's finally retiring his crown."

Ace grins in excitement. "That would be awesome if the geezer finally left. Let's go see."

The three brothers walk into the study to find their grandfather sitting at his desk eating rice crackers until he saw his grandsons walk in. "There you boys are. Sit down."

The three princes complied as they each took a seat in their respective chairs when Garp crossed his arms over his chest. "I called you three here because I wanted to tell you something important."

The three boys look at him with excitement in their eyes hoping that it's about his retirement when he spoke up. "I want you three to get married."

All three boys face planted at the announcement before Ace got up. "What the hell are you talking about old man?!"

"You three are all old enough to get married and I want some great grandkids. I'm going to be hosting a ball tomorrow night for all the eligible ladies of the kingdom to attend. You three are going to attend and pick one of them to be your bride."

Sabo looks at him in utter shock. "You can't be serious, you can't just marry us off so that you can get some great grandkids!"

"I can if I want to, but I'm giving you the option of who you want to marry. If only one of you gets married then you get to be the next king."

Luffy shakes his head. "I don't want to be king of the kingdom I want to be-"

He was cut off by a fist of love to the head. "Don't you dare say that you want to be pirate king again! This is happening, so you better get ready for tomorrow."

He throws his three grandsons out of the room before they could protest further and slammed the door in their faces.

Ace groans in frustration as he glares at the door. "I knew it was too good to be true..."

Sabo slowly nods. "At least he warned us about this..."

Luffy nods. "Yea, at least there's going to be a party too. If we don't find someone then we should be ok right?"

Both brothers nod as they head back to their rooms while dreading what tomorrow will bring for them.

The following day invitations have arrived in every house in town causing your step family to squeal in excitement as they read the invitation.

Lady Cassandra couldn't stop the smile on her face as she read the invitation. "All eligible ladies in the kingdom are to attend tonight's ball! This is wonderful!" She turns to her two daughters. "We will be going back to town to get only the best outfits for you! We need to impress the princes tonight!"

Sandra nods in excitement. "I hope I can get prince Ace! He's so adorable!"

Catrina shakes her head. "You can have him! Prince Sabo is the one I want. He looks like such a gentleman. A lot better than the youngest."

You look at them in confusion as you're sweeping the floor. "What's wrong with the youngest?"

"He's barely a prince at all. I heard that he makes friends with filthy commoners and has some crazy dream that includes leaving the throne. Even you could have a shot with him if you were actually going."

You quirk an eyebrow at the statement. "I thought all the ladies were supposed to go?"

Lady Cassandra scoffs as she points to your outfit. "Do you honestly think that you can go in rags like those? I might consider it if you had something to wear, but since you don't there's nothing we can do. Come on girls."

The step family left the house to go shopping while you quietly sigh. (Should've figured, to be honest do I really want to go?)

You look out the window where you can see the castle then shake your head with a large smile. "This can be a perfect opportunity to get ready to leave tomorrow. They can have their one night of fun while I get my life of adventure."

You grin in excitement as you get back to your chores for the rest of the day.

Later that night a carriage arrived causing your step family who were dressing as gaudy as they could be to rush out the door. You waved your step family off at the door before closing the door and smiling in relief and looking up at the starry night sky.

"Alright, that takes care of them. Time to start packing. With a night like this I can get some stargazing done too." You start making your way to your small bedroom to get your things ready when a white light caught the corner of your eye in the kitchen.

"What the?" You go over to the kitchen then freeze when the blue light faded to reveal a cute woman with dark blue hair, wearing red glasses and a sparkling white dress.

You widen your eyes at the sight before tears started filling them as you got down on your knees. "Please don't take me to the afterlife angel of death! I still have so much to do with my life!"

The woman widens her eyes in shock before shaking her head. "No, no, no, I'm not an angel! I'm your fairy godmother, but you can call me Tashigi!"

You calm down and look at her in confusion as you get up. "Fairy godmother?"

"That's right, I'm here to take you to the ball."

You look at her blankly before waving your hand dismissively. "Sorry, but I'm not going."

Tashigi looks at you in shock as you turn away from her causing her to run in front of you. "Wait, what?! Is it about your stepmother?!"

"No, it's not that. It's just that this is a perfect opportunity to get my packing done. Besides, why waste a perfect night for stargazing to go to a party full of overstuffed rich people?"

Tashigi looks at you in utter shock while trying to find the right thing to say while you started walking away. (This isn't good, if I don't bring (y/n) to the ball Smoker will be mad at me... Wait!)

A large smile forms on her face when an idea popped up in her head. "If you go to the ball you can go to the astronomy tower."

You paused as your ears perked up at the sound of an astronomy tower then turned to the fairy. "I'm listening."

"There's an astronomy tower at the palace with an amazing telescope. Normally it's off limits, but with the ball you might be able to have access to the place. I can get a start on your packing while you're away."

You stroke a chin at the proposition before nodding. "You got a deal. Anything I need to do?"

"Do you have a pumpkin that I can use?"

You nod as you lead her out into the pumpkin patch near your house and roll a large pumpkin towards her. "Will this work?"

"Perfect, now I just-" She pauses before she checks her dress pockets to search for something. "Oh, now where is it?! I know I had my wand here somewhere!"

You sweat drop at the scrambling fairy until you see a small white stick tucked behind her ear. "Umm, I think you have it tucked behind your ear."

Tashigi freezes then takes the small stick from behind her ear then extended it to make it slightly longer. "Thank you, now please step back."

You complied to the request as you took a few steps back and watched Tashigi wave her wand. "Bibidi Bobidi Boo!"

You widened your eyes in shock when you saw magical (f/c) dust swirling around the pumpkin to transform it into a beautiful golden carriage. "Whoa, can you teach me how to do that?!"

"No, now then, we need some horses, along with a coachman and footman..." Tashigi looks around and spots 8 field mice causing her to nod in approval as she waved her wand again. "Bibidi Bobidi Boo!"

The mice were lifted into the air with (f/c) dust surrounding them until they were suddenly transformed into 6 brown horses, a blonde coachman and a footman with pink hair.

You watched the transformation in amazement before applauding. "That was awesome! What else are you going to do?!"

Tashigi giggles at your excitement before turning to you. "The last thing we need to do is dress you up."

You blink in surprise before eagerly nodding. "Cool, what do I need to do?!"

"I just need you to stay still." She conjures up a measuring tape and takes your measurements before stepping back with a large grin. "This will be so much fun! Bibidi Bobidi Boo!"

The magical dust starts flying around you until your peasant dress transformed into a beautiful (f/c) gown along with your (h/c) hair being done in a beautiful ponytail.

Once the magic dispersed you looked down at the beautiful dress with a large smile. "Whoa, awesome! You start walking then look down at your feet to find that you're wearing glass slippers. "Why glass?"

Tashigi rubs the back of her head sheepishly. "I thought they would be cute."

You nod with a large smile. "You were right about that. Thank you."

"You're welcome, just remember that this spell will only last until midnight. Once the clock strikes twelve the spell will be broken and everything will be like before."

You eagerly nod as you make your way to the carriage. "I got it, thanks again for everything."

"My pleasure, I'll go get started on your packing. Helmeppo, Coby, please be careful when bringing (y/n) to the ball." The driver and footman nod while Tashigi vanishes from sight as you rode away in the golden carriage off to the palace.

At the ballroom at the palace hundreds of guests were dancing the night away while most of the ladies are trying to dance with the princes in hopes of gaining their favor.

Ace has just finished dancing with Sandra and rushed away from the dance floor before he could talk to her and any of the other girls who were trying to talk to. He looked back at the girl he just danced with dread before turning to Sabo who just escaped dancing with Catrina. "Please tell me you're having as bad of a time as I am?"

He tiredly nods as he goes behind his brother to avoid the obnoxious girl's gaze. "The girl I just danced with was a nightmare. I think Luffy has the worst of it though." He points to their little brother where a beautiful woman with long dark hair is swooning over him for the fifth time.

"Oh Luffy, this is great! I hope our wedding is as lovely as this party."

Luffy groans in frustration as he looks the woman in the eye. "Sorry Hancock, but I don't want to marry you."

He walks away to get some food while another woman tries to walk up to him from behind, but Hancock gives her an icy glare causing her to run away.

Ace widens his eyes at the display before slowly nodding. "You're right, I'm gonna see if I can give him a break from her."

Sabo nods as he pats his freckled brother on the shoulder. "Good luck."

Ace walks up to Hancock with a fake smile. "You know Hancock, I think there were some girls that were staring at Luffy over there."

"What?! Where?!"

"I'll show you, I think they're around here somewhere!" He grabs Hancock by the arm and leads her away from Luffy as he stuffs his face.

Once he finishes his food he watches the guests who are dancing slowly to the boring music with a blank look on his face. (Man, this is boring...) He sneaks out of the party before anyone could notice that the young prince escaped.

Meanwhile, your carriage has just arrived at the front entrance and after being greeted by the guards you nervously walked into the palace. (I knew this place would be fancy but this is ridiculous...)

You look over the entrance to the dance hall to see the guests dancing to one of the most boring songs you ever heard causing you to groan. (Wow that looks really boring. Do rich people really find this fun? The astronomy tower is sounding more appealing by the second. Where exactly is it anyway?)

You look around and find a stairwell down the hall and start walking towards it.

You reach for the door when you felt a hand on your shoulder. You grab the arm and flip the guard who touched you over your shoulder. You look at the man in shock before looking at him nervously. "Umm..." (Shit, I flipped him out of reflex!)

The man looks at you in utter shock before glaring at you and getting up. "So you're here to rob the royal family blind are you?!"

You quickly shake your head when the guard started calling his buddies causing you to make a run for it throughout the castle away from the grand hall.

Luffy wanders around the halls in sheer boredom. (Man, I can't leave the castle or grandpa will kick my ass. Being a prince su-)

"THERE SHE IS! GET HER!" Luffy snaps out of his thoughts to one of the guards' shouting when he turns a corner to see you running for your life with 5 guards chasing you.

"What the hell?"

You make a turn in his direction causing him to run with you while the guards keep pursuing.

The guards look at the young prince in shock. "Prince Luffy, what are you doing?!"

You blink in surprise before turning to the boy running next to you. "Luffy?!"

Luffy nods. "Yea, how did you know my name?"

"The guard just said it!" (Wait, he doesn't recognize me?! I guess I look pretty different with this appear- Wait a minute!) Your (e/c) eyes become as wide as plates as you look down at his royal outfit. "You're a prince?!"

Luffy groans at the title. "Yea, but I want to be pirate king!"

The guards groan at the declaration while continuing to chase the two of you. "You know you can't become a pirate your highness! That girl is a thief, please stand back while we capture her!"

You glare back at them while running. "I'm not a thief damnit, I just wanted to go to the astronomy tower!"

"Then why did you flip me?!"

"Reflexes!"

"Not buying it!"

You groan in frustration when Luffy picked you up over his shoulder and turned a corner causing both yours and the guards' eyes to widen in shock as he keeps running as fast as he can while carrying you.

The guards continued chasing you two left and right until Luffy ran into the study. The guards followed you inside and searched the room for the two of you, but they couldn't find a trace of the two of you. One of the guards opens a window and looks outside while the two of you tried to stay as quiet as possible on the roof just above the guard's head.

The guard closed the window before he saw you causing Luffy to start laughing. "Shishishi, that chase was awesome! Hey, who are you anyway?"

You could only stare at him in shock at the carefree attitude he had toward the situation. (Why does he ask for my name only after a crazy chase scene? Better yet, why do we keep meeting during crazy chases?! Oh well, since he doesn't recognize me I might as well have some fun.)

A grin starts spreading on your face before you extended a hand out for him to shake. "You can call me Cinderella."

He shakes your hand with a toothy grin. "Nice to meet you Rella."

You sweat drop at the nickname before smiling. "The pleasure's mine. Not that I don't appreciate it, but why did you help me?"

Luffy shrugs with a carefree smile. "You just wanted to go to the tower right? Besides, helping you out was a lot more fun than being at the party."

You nod. "Yea, I saw that party and it looked pretty boring. Are you ok not being down there with your brothers?"

"Yea, it's fine. Gramps wants me to be with a girl so it should be fine since I'm with you."

You blink in surprise before laughing. "I see, glad I could help. So you really want to be pirate king?"

"Yup, I don't want to be a prince here."

"How come?"

He grins at the question before staring out at the ocean view. "Because when you're a pirate you can go live whatever way you want to! Living in a stuffy castle for the rest of my life is too boring."

You nod in understanding as you follow his gaze towards the ocean. "I can imagine."

He turns his attention over to you. "Why did you want to go to the astronomy tower?"

You softly sigh as you look up at the night sky. "I wanted to see what it's like to stargaze with a telescope of royal caliber, but seeing the stars from this height is really awesome too."

Luffy nods before pointing to the tower behind them where the window is just a foot above them. "If you still want to go, the astronomy tower is right there."

You quickly turn around to see the tower then eagerly nod. "Really?! What are we waiting for?!" You take a hold of his hand before jumping into the window with him and looking around the room.

"Awesome!" You rush over to the telescope and began stargazing with a look of pure excitement on your face.

Luffy looks at you in confusion as you keep stargazing. "Are stars really that exciting?"

You eagerly nod as you step away from the telescope. "Of course they are! It's like your own storybook in the sky with all the constellations out there. My favorite thing to do with them though is to make up constellations and create my own stories behind them."

Luffy widens his eyes before looking at the telescope with excitement. "Really? I wanna try!"

"Go right ahead."

You step away from the telescope so that he can walk up to it, but before he can use it a servant with a long nose rushes into the room. "There you are your highness!"

Luffy groans at the title before turning to the servant. "Just call me Luffy already Usopp!"

"Now's not the time for that. You need to get back to the ballroom. Your grandpa's getting mad that you didn't dance with someone yet!"

Luffy widens his eyes before sighing. "Aww do I have to? Oh well." He turns his head towards you with a smile. "Wanna dance? It's more fun dancing with someone I like."

You widen your eyes at the statement with a light blush decorating your face before sheepishly nodding.

"Great, let's go!" He takes your hand and leads you down to the ballroom.

Ace widens his eyes when he sees Luffy with you at the entrance then nervously turns to Hancock who's looking around the dance floor for Luffy. "Hey Hancock, I think Luffy might be this way. Follow me!" (You owe me big for this Lu!)

Hancock eagerly nods as she follows him out of the room before she could notice the two of you.

You and Luffy walk onto the dance floor hand in hand when (favorite slow song) started playing when Luffy wrapped his other arm around your waist and started dancing.

Sabo looks at the two of you and grins before a short haired brunette walks up to him. "There you are Sabo! Want to dance?"

Sabo blushes at the cute girl in front of him before nodding and taking her hand. "Sure Koala."

Garp watches his two grandsons dancing from his throne with a large smile. (Finally, my grandsons are growing up!)

Catrina, Sandra and Lady Cassandra watch you dancing with Luffy curiously.

"Who's the girl dancing with Prince Luffy?" Sandra asks.

Catrina looks at her in confusion. "I don't know, she looks so familiar though..."

Lady Cassandra narrows her brown eyes at the pair as she tries to get a closer look, but the dancing crowd kept getting in the way the entire time.

The two of you kept dancing out of rhythm throughout the song, but neither of you cared because it felt as though you were the only ones in the room. You smile at the music until you felt Luffy step on your foot.

Luffy looks at you nervously as he takes his foot off of you. "Sorry about that."

You shake your head with a smile as you awkwardly took the lead and started dancing out of step. "Don't worry about it. I can barely dance myself."

Luffy laughs at your attempt to take the lead until he felt your foot land on his then took his turn taking the lead. The pattern continued throughout the song until the final note was played causing Luffy to take your hand and run out to the gardens with you before the next song could be played.

As soon as you stopped running you couldn't help but laugh at the fun night you're having. "Hahaha, that was great."

Luffy blinks at your smiling face before smiling widely. "Join my crew!"

You blink in surprise at the declaration before laughing even harder causing him to scowl. "I'm serious! Stop laughing!"

You shake your head before calming down. "I-I'm not laughing at you I promise, I'm just laughing at the irony. I was asked to join someone's crew yesterday."

"What?! Join my crew instead, you can look at as many stars as you want while we go on adventures."

You stroke your chin and look at him as if you're thinking hard on the decision before nodding with a large smile. "I'll join!"

"Really?! Awesome!" He pulls you into a hug causing you to blush heavily as you look into his large black eyes.

Luffy widens his eyes as he gazes into your beautiful (e/c) orbs, but before he can say anything you jolt at the sound of a clock chiming and look out at a nearby clock tower to see that it's midnight.

"Damnit, I gotta go!"

"What?! But you just got here!"

You shake your head with a smile. "Sorry captain, I gotta get ready to join your crew. I'll see you later." You lean in to kiss him on the lips causing him to freeze in shock as you pull out of his embrace and run away.

He snaps out of it when you were almost out of his sight causing him to run after you. "Wait, you don't know when we're meeting!"

He runs to the front entrance to see you get in the carriage and ride away as fast as the horses can take you. He starts running towards the carriage, but trips at the bottom of the stairs.

"Damnit..." He sits up then freezes when he spots a glass slipper right in front of him. (Is this her shoe?!) He took the slipper and stared out at the direction you took.

"Luffy?" Luffy jolts at his name being called then turns around to see Ace walking up to him. "What happened to the girl you were dancing with?"

"She ran away and left her shoe behind!"

Ace blinks in surprise at the explanation. "What the hell? Come on, we should tell gramps what happened."

Luffy slowly nods as he gets up and takes one last look at the direction you took before following his brother inside.

You huff from exhaustion as you relax in your seat in the carriage then start blushing as you realized that you kissed your captain. (I can't believe I just did that! What the hell's wrong with me?! Still, it did feel nice...)

You look back at the castle that's growing smaller in view with a sheepish grin on your face.

"Did you have fun?" You snap out of your thoughts to turn to Coby who's sitting in front of you before nodding.

"Yea, I had a great time. To be honest, I don't regret taking Tashigi's offer to bring me here at all."

The boy nods when they suddenly felt the carriage start shrinking. You jump out of the window just when the spell wore off completely leaving you in your peasant clothes with a broken pumpkin and a group of mice.

You sweat drop at the sight before sighing. "Guess I'm walking home... Huh?" You look down at your feet to see that one of your feet is missing a shoe while the other is still wearing the glass slipper.

You grin at the shoe before taking it off and placing it in your pocket. "That was sweet of her to let me keep the shoe."

You start walking back to the house while smiling at remembering your night with Luffy. (Now that I got to know him, I think I made the right decision joining his crew. I'll tell him I'm Cinderella tomorrow. Or should I say Rella?)

You chuckle at the nickname Luffy gave you as you make it back home before your step family and went to bed with the memories to the ball replaying in your head for the rest of the night.

Once all the guests left Garp crosses his arms over his chest as he scowls at his grandsons. "Ok, let me get this straight. Ace, you wound up not finding a girl you liked even though half of them were fawning over you?"

Ace nervously nods causing his grandfather to punch him on the head.

The freckled prince cradles the growing lump on his head while Garp turns to Sabo. "You and Koala are a couple now?"

Sabo quickly nods causing Garp to smile as he pats him on the head. "That's my boy."

The blond prince awkwardly chuckles at the newfound affection while Garp turns his head to Luffy who gulped at his stare.

"And you managed to find a girl, but she ran away from you and left her shoe?"

"Y-yea..."

Garp whacks him on the head. "What kind of a man lets a girl just run out on him?! And you don't even know where she lives?!"

Luffy cradles the new lump on his head before showing him the glass shoe. "The only thing I have of hers is the shoe!"

Ace quirks an eyebrow at the slipper. "What kind of a person wears glass?"

Sabo looks at it curiously. "Still, it's really well crafted. I don't remember seeing that girl before, do you Ace?"

Ace shakes his head while Garp takes the shoe from him and looks it over curiously. "Looks like the size is (f/s), pretty weird for a woman her size. Should be no issue finding her with this tomorrow."

Sabo looks at his grandpa in confusion. "What are you saying exactly?"

"You three are going out and getting every girl to try on the shoe. Whoever fits in the shoe gets to be Luffy's bride.

Ace widens his eyes at this. "You're even crazier than I thought! Don't you know how long that will-?!"

"I'll do it."

Ace and Sabo look at their carefree brother in shock as he takes the shoe back from his grandfather. "I just need to get her to try on the shoe right? Should be no problem. I'll get started tomorrow."

His brothers look at him in shock while his grandfather grins at him. "Atta boy Luffy, I'll go to the docks and tell the ships that they can't leave until we find her."

He runs out of the room while Ace continues to stare at his younger brother. "Are you sure about this Lu? What if she left the kingdom already?"

"No way, she promised to join my crew so there's no way she'd leave."

Sabo chuckles at his brother's attitude before ruffling his hair. "In that case you should get some rest. We have a long day of finding her tomorrow.

Luffy nods as he exits the room only to find Zoro waiting for him after he overheard the conversation.

"Are you sure about this Luffy? I thought you wanted us to get together as a crew for the first time tomorrow."

"I did, but we can't become a crew until everyone's together. Once I find Rella we can get out of here. Can you tell the others working here what's going on?"

"Sure, but what about the girl you met yesterday?"

"I'll find her when I'm out looking for Rella and tell her. Good night."

"Yea, good night."

Zoro heads out to find the crew members that are working in the palace while Luffy heads to bed to get ready for the big day ahead of them.

The next morning your stepmother rushed home from going into town then ran up to Catrina and Sandra who were lounging in their bedroom. "Make yourselves as beautiful as you possibly can! The princes are coming!"

Catrina widens her eyes at this before squealing in excitement. "Are you serious?! Why are they coming?!"

"Prince Luffy is looking for that girl that he danced with. He and his brothers are going door to door getting the girls to try on the shoe that she left. Whoever fits the shoe is going to be his bride. If either of you can fit in it then you'll live like a princess!"

Sandra nods with a grin as she goes to put on some makeup. "That's great. Though Luffy is a bit lacking as a prince if I marry him I'll change him for the better!"

Catrina eagerly nods as she rushes into her closet for her best day dress. "My thoughts exactly, if I can live like a princess I can deal with being his wife!"

Lady Cassandra grins at her scrambling daughters before looking around the room. "By the way, where's (Y/n)? I should make her help you."

Catrina groans as she changes clothes. "She's in her room, but I don't want her help. She's been weird all morning. She's been smiling nonstop and kept spacing out while making breakfast. She almost burnt my eggs!"

Her mother widens her eyes at this. (Why would she be so happy? Unless...) She widens her eyes in shock at realizing that you were the one who danced with Luffy last night.

Before she can do anything she hears horses galloping outside and looks out the window to see the royal carriage riding up to the house. (NO!) "Finish getting ready, they're here!"

Both girls nod as they finish preparing and run downstairs to greet their royal guests while Cassandra runs to the attic door. She looks inside to see that you were getting your bag ready with your back to the door while humming the song you danced to last night. (She figured out that they were coming so she already packed?! That ungrateful bitch! I'll show her!)

She slams the door shut causing you to turn to it in shock before rushing to try and open it, but it was already locked tight. "What the hell?! Let me out!"

"Shut up and stay in there you ungrateful brat!"

You widen your eyes at your stepmother's voice as you hear her walking away from the door. (What the hell?! Did she find out that I was joining Luffy's crew today?! I can't believe she'd lock me in here to stop me from becoming a pirate! How am I gonna get out of here?!)

You look around for a way out then rush to the window showing the side of the house that's out of view from the carriage then look down at the large flower bushes right below you. "That'll work!"

Luffy, Sabo and Ace watch with painful looks on their faces as Catrina tries to fit her long skinny foot into the tiny glass slipper but it was no good.

Before she can try breaking her foot Sabo grabs the shoe. "Please stop! We don't want you hurting yourself over this!"

Catrina looks at him with tears in her eyes. "But that's my shoe..."

"It's obviously not because it's mine!" Sandra takes the shoe from her and tries to stuff her fat foot into the slipper, but her foot was too wide. (Get in damnit!)

Before she can break the shoe Ace takes the shoe away from her. "That's enough, it's obvious that neither of you were Rella!"

Luffy sighs before turning to Lady Cassandra. "Is there anyone else here?"

She shakes her head with a fake smile . "Sorry your highness, but these two are my only daughters. Of course, they're available to marry if your brothers would like to-"

"No thanks!" Ace says hurriedly with Sabo nodding as they run out of the house with Luffy.

Once safely out of the house Sabo shivers at the girls' hungry gaze that they gave him inside. "Man, I'm glad those two weren't the girl."

Ace slowly nods. "Yea, but this is the 10th house we've been in. Do you really think-"

He was cut off with a punch to the head by Sabo while Luffy looks at them with a serious look on his face. "I'm not giving up until-"

He cuts himself off to the sound of thumping at the side of the house causing him to tilt his head in confusion before walking to the side of the house to see a packed bag on the ground. "What the-"

"Oh shit, I lost my footing! Look out!" Luffy looks up in confusion only for you to land on him.

Ace and Sabo run to the side of the house to see you laying on top of a dazed Luffy with your face an inch away from his causing you to blush before getting off him. "I'm so sor- Wait, Luffy? What are you doing here?"

Luffy shakes his head to get rid of the dizziness before looking up at you in shock. "(Y/n)?! So this is where you live!"

"What's going on here?!" The group turn to see Lady Cassandra and her daughters walking towards the group then widen their eyes in shock when they see you.

Ace narrows his eyes at the woman in front of him before pointing to (y/n). "I thought you said that no one else lived here."

"She's only the maid! There's no way she could be Rella!"

You widen your eyes at the statement before turning to Luffy. "You were out here looking for Rella?"

Luffy nods as he gets up. "Yea, I was going to tell you while I was searching. We can't set sail until we find her."

You widen your eyes at this before groaning. "Seriously? Oh well, good thing I'm Rella." You dig into your pocket and take out the other slipper before putting it on causing Luffy to look at you in shock.

"You're Rella?!"

You nod before Luffy pulls you into a hug. "Awesome! We can set sail now!"

You blush at the embrace before grinning and hugging him back. You were the first one to pull away then you grabbed your bag with a smile. "What are we waiting for captain?"

Luffy nods before leading you by the hand to the carriage with his brothers.

"You guys still have to deal with Garp remember?" Sabo says causing Luffy to jolt as the four of you rode off to the palace to face their next challenge while leaving a completely devastated step family behind.

As soon as you and Luffy made it to the palace Garp welcomed you to his family with open arms and lifted the blockade he had at the docks. He managed to create a shared wedding for you, Luffy, Sabo and Koala done on the very same day with everyone in the town invited except for your step family.

The beginning of the wedding ceremony is now under way with Sabo and Koala walking down the aisle with Ace waiting at the end of the aisle as the best man.

Garp watches his grandson with pride from his chair at the front of the aisle while everyone waits for you and Luffy to appear, but were instead met with a guard running down the aisle with a note in his hand.

"Your majesty, please look at this!"

Garp quirks an eyebrow as he takes the note and starts reading it with a tick mark forming on his forehead.

Hey Grandpa,

(Y/n) and I left to become pirates so start the wedding without us.

See ya!

Luffy

Garp starts growling as he rips the paper in half. "GO TO THE DOCKS AND BLOCK THEM OFF DAMNIT!"

The guard nervously nods as he runs away while Sabo laughs at the situation and Ace smirks in satisfaction of freeing the horses before the guards could go after his little brother.

You, Luffy and the rest of the newly made pirate crew were partying like there's no tomorrow in celebration of setting sail before anyone can stop you.

You stand by the railing and smile at Luffy who's laughing along with Usopp as they dance to the music played by an extremely tall man in an afro when Nami walks up to you.

"You know, you could have still married him before leaving and became a princess."

You chuckle at that as you take a swig of your liquor. "I had enough of being a princess from last night. I'd rather be a pirate."

Nami blinks in surprise before laughing causing you to look at her in confusion. "What?"

"That's almost the exact same thing Luffy said when he asked me to join."

You widen your eyes at the comment before laughing until a blond man with swirly eyebrows twirled over to the two of you with a tray of drinks in his hands. "Would either of you lovely ladies care for a refill?"

Nami nods as she takes the drink while you shake your head. "I'm ok, but thank you Sanji."

Sanji nods as he looks at you with hearts in your eyes. "It's my pleasure (y/n)-chan! If there's anything that you need I'll-"

He cuts himself off when Luffy suddenly picks you up over his shoulder and scowls at Sanji. "You can flirt with anyone but (y/n) Sanji! Captain's orders!"

Sanji could only stare in shock while Nami gives you a mischievous smirk as Luffy walks away from the crowd and back to where he was dancing then puts you down with a smile as if nothing happened. "Hey (y/n), let's dance!"

You blink in surprise before nodding with a large smile as the two of you danced together to the fast music being played.

The rest of the crew besides the musician could only stare as you danced with Luffy as if you two were the only ones on the ship for the rest of the party with only one thought stayed in your head. (Even though I don't want to be a princess I have no problems with being Luffy's pirate queen.)
