Note: All Characters are same as Naagin5. The plot is supernatural. Markaat is not a part of this story. Veer's mother was human and died a natural death.

Pre-Read: After Navratri, Bani's real identity was revealed so she had nothing to hide. The tale of satyug was out. Therefore, Bani also revealed Shukla's real face to the Singhanias and that he was Teer's real killer. Singhania's also checked footage of their other house and saw that Teer was fighting with Bani and a dagger was thrown from behind. Zooming in, the killer's face was visible for a brief second. It was Shukla.

The family was furious, specially Veer who really loved Teer. Shukla was sentenced to death. When Shukla saw no hope for himself, he begged Bani to save him and revealed all about Jai. Then, Jai and Shukla were killed by Bani and Veer.

Veer was getting choked. He couldn't breathe. Bani saw life drain out of him. She tried her best to unwind the coil around his neck and Veer gasped as air finally entered his crying lungs.

B: Veeranshu!! Tumhe kuch nahi hoga..

Bani began to weep when she saw Shaktpaatis enter the house. They were aiming all attacks at Veer.

B: Nahi!!!

Bani screamed and pushed Veer out of danger's way but the large jhoomar fell the moment Bani pushed Veer and landed right on his head. Veer's eyes became life-less

B: Veeeeer!!!!!!!!!!!!!

V: Bani? Sweetheart kya hua???

Bani looked and saw that she was on her bed. Her husband, Veer was sleeping next to her. She was currently all wet due to sweat and shivering in fear.

V: Sweetheart koi bura sapna dekha kya?

Bani looked at him and cupped his face. His warmth was a stark contrast to the cold she felt in the dream. She hugged him quickly.

B: Bohot bura, usse bura kuch nahi hai..

Veer hugged her close and patted her head.

V: Tum safe ho, mai hoon tumhare saath...

B: (In mind) It is not me who I worry for..

Vani had ended the enemies a week ago. Veer had expected Bani to leave but she stayed. They both really liked each other. Well, Veer's feelings were already out in the open but Bani stayed quite about it. However she was nicer to Veer now and the little bit of warmth from her end was enough to make Veer's day. He knew she was slowly falling. He hated to wait but if that meant he gets to be with her, he can wait an eternity.

Bani kept hugging Veer to calm her heart. Make it feel his heartbeat and register that he was truly safe. Slowly they drifted off to sleep, for the first time in each other's arms.

Vani woke up the next morning and got ready. Bani wore her light pink and shimmer saree.

Veer was mesmerized the moment he saw her. She began combing her hair and getting ready while Veer took a bath. He came out just in his pants and was shuffling around for his tshirt.

He looked hot and Bani studied his back in the mirror. She was facing it but her eyes were trained n him.

Veer turned and smirked. He walked towards Bani and took the sindoor. He filled her hairline. Bani's trance was broken.

B: Ye kya kr rahe ho tum?

V: Tumhari help? Vo tum sindoor ki dabbi hath me liye freeze ho gayi toh maine socha mai lga deta hoon...kya pta isse tumhari statue over bhi ho jaye..

Bani blushed and looked down. Veer controlled his smirk. He got ready. They both headed downstairs and saw the entire family was already at the table. They all looked at Vani and then looked away. They were warming up to the idea of having a naagin family member but weren't there yet.

V: Good morning!!! Aaj kya hai breakfast me..

Ponky: wahi ghass-fuss...Na-

V: Oye!

P: Mtlb Bhabhi, ye kb khtm honge aapke ye all-veg khao days.

D: Sahi me, Cheel se Cow bana diya

V: Chup kro dono...jaise bhahar jaakr non-veg nahi khate na...ab sweetheart ne kaha hai ghar me nahi banega toh nahi banega..

M: (to Daksh and Ponky) kiske samne bol rahe ho us naagin ko, Bhai kabhi uske aage kissi ka side nahi lenge..

The three ate their sandwiches in silence.

V: Ballu kahan hai?

Pawan: Bhaisaab thak gaye honge ye sb kha-kha kr...isliye subah se kahin bahar hai shyd, dikhe hi nahi...

VEER BABA!! PAWAN SIR!!!! BHABHIJI!!! AREY KOI HAIIIIIII

A loud cry was heard. The family ran towards the direction and saw a shivering man standing in front of the study.

V: Kya hua kaka??

K: Baaaba—bababa..Veer baba

D: Arey kya aba-dabba-jaba chal raha hai..agey bhi toh bolo na..

The man raised a shivering finger towards the study.

K: Mai safai- saaf- saafai krne aaya tha...gate kho-khola toh..

He was shivering very badly and sweating profusely.

P: Aisa kya hua hai???

The family entered the study and the sight that welcomed made them all freeze on their tracks. They all paled and got shocked.

Balwant was bent over the table with a sharp dagger to his back. Veer moved closer.

V: Ballu?

He touched his shoulder and tried to pull him up. He saw a horrific sight. Balwant's eyes were lifeless and his entire body was pale.

V: DAD!!!!

Singhania house was stuck in grief. Balwant's body was in the hall. Many other cheel's from the realm were there to pay respects to the deceased king. Veer was locked in his dad's room with Tapish. The boys were orphans now. They had lost their only parent. They cried and shared memories. Pawan was meeting the people. Ponky and Monil were sitting with long faces while Daksh was inside the study with the investigators.

One of the investigators tried to pin this on Bani.

D: Bhabhi aisa nahi kr skti..

I: Arey sir aap ek naagin ke saath reh rahe they...ek dushman ke saath...aur kon hoga??

D: Bhabhi nahi hai, kaha na..

I: Pr sir!

D: Abey investigation nahi kr paa raha hai toh vo bol...bhabhi humare saath thi poora time aur unhe marne ke liye ye khanjar ki zarurat nahi hai ...samjha na..

Bani was passing by and hearing Daksh defend her like this filled her heart with warmth. She didn't like Balwant but her heart truly ached for Veer. Bani entered the hall and saw many cower away from her. She sighed and stood by the corner.

The Sharmas arrived.

R: Bani!! Ye aise kya ho gaya bhaisaab ko??

M: Bani Tapish kahan hai, vo thik hai na??

Mahesh went to stand near Pawan and offer his condolence.

B: Chachi aap baithiye ek minute. Meera di, Bhai aur Veer daddyji ek room hai. Aap jaiye aur unhe bulla bhi dijiyega...ab time ho raha hai..

Meera left. Bani spoke to a few other people who had come over to pay respects.

B: Veer kaisa mehsoos kr raha hoga? Mujhe uske saath hona chahiye..

Bani turned to climb up the stairs when she saw Veer looking downstairs from the railing and smirk. She frowned. Was she seeing alright?? Why the hell was Veer smirking?

She rushed upstairs and saw no one was there.

B: Veeranshu??

V: Haan Bani?

Bani turned and saw Veer's bloodshot eyes. Behind him where Tapish and Meera talking softly. Bani shook her head softly and rushed to Veer. She hugged him.

B: I am so sorry Veeranshu but I am here for you..

The dam that held the pain broke down in the care of a loved one. Veer held Bani close and sobbed in her arms.

Monil came a while later, asking them to come downstairs as it was the time to perform the last rites. Bani broke the hug and wiped Veer's tears. She held his hand and gave it a squeeze. She knew Veer was in deep pain but she vowed to stand by him through it all.
