Jatan Thakur was sitting in front of his men and Girish was scolding them.

GT: Tum sb kissi kaam ke nahi ho! Vo ladka yahan kissi ko nahi jaanta, uss ladki ka bhi koi nahi hai un maa-beti ke alawa...fir bhi dhoond nahi paa rahe ho??

JT: Ye kaam inke bs ka hai hi nahi..

Man: maaf kr dijiye sir pr un dono ne koi transport nahi liya hai..

Suddenly, another man came running.

AM: Sir, aapki car mil gayi, kissi garage wale ke pass thi..usne kaha ek ladke ne bechi thi pr sath me koi ladki toh nahi thi uske..

JT: Usko lekr thodi jayega ...zarur kahin choda hoga pr kyunki hum peeche pade hai toh kissi safe jagah chodega...uss garage ke ass pass ke saare hotel me pata kro..aur us maa- beti se bhi puch tach kro..

The men left.

GT: Bauji, ek mahina ho gaya hai...vo dono chuhe ki tarah pata nahi kiss bill me chup gaye hai...

JT: Mil jayenge beta, mil jayenge...

It had been a month since Vani had been living together. They became really good friends and knew every detail about each other's lives. Bani told him about her life with sharmas, her education and everything. Veer told her about his family and life at the university. They also became aware of each other's habits since they were living with each other. Like Bani knew Veer could not function without coffee in the morning and Veer realized Bani hated milk with passion.

They cooked and cleaned together. Veer started to work from home and Bani started to look for opportunities and where she should start living after the whole thing settles down.

They were sitting for breakfast, Veer was going through some presentation for work and Bani gave him his coffee.

B: I spoke to Meera di..

V:..and?

B: She thinks the men have given up..unke ghar ke age jo pehra dete they, vo chale gaye hai..

V: That is great news Bani!

B: Soon, we'll travel again!!!

V: Yes!

In excitement, they both hugged each other tightly. Veer arms wrapped around Bani's and Bani had her hands around his torso. Her head was on his firm chest and their eyes were closed, relishing the warmth.

Soon, they both realized what they were doing and broke the hug. Bani blushed and Veer looked away feeling awkward.

V: Ek sorry..

B: Same to you..

She rushed into the kitchen to prep for lunch and Veer started back at his work, none concentrating like before.

JT: Tune sbhi admiyon ko bol diya hai na wapis aane..

GT: Ji, pr aap haar kyu maan rahe ho ??

Jatan threw the water at his son's face..

JT: Hum Thakur hai! Hum haar nahi mante..

GT: Toh?

JT: Chuhe ko bil se nikalna hai na?

GT: Haan..

JT: Toh bs...hum teen din kuch nahi karenge, vo zarur kahin se humpr nazar rakhe hai..usse lagega hum give up kr diye hai and tb hum complaint kr denge ki vo ladka us ladki ka kidnap kiya hai...police uska khatir karegi jail me aur vo ladki teri...

Girish was happy with the plan and touched his father's feet, earning him a slap on his back. The duo laughed evilly.

Bani was cleaning the spider web she had spotted and Veer was out buying groceries. When he came back, he saw Bani was on the stool. He thought he could clean without the stool and asked Bani to step down. However this startled her and she lost her footing.

B: ahh!

Veer rushed to Bani and held her waist to break her fall but this ended up with their lips brushing softly against each others. They both stilled.

B: (in mind) Oh lord! Did we just?!

V: (in mind) WOW! Her lips are so soft!

They both were lost in their own thoughts and staring into each others' eyes. Bani realized it first.

B: Vo sorry!!

She kept her hands on his shoulders and tried to stand up straight on the stool but it slipped. She fell into his arms. His hands were clutching her waist and were under her legs.

B: (In mind) how do you manage to make things more awkward?! Great talent Bani!

She snuggled into him briefly before stepping down. They both were flushed and got back to their work.

The next day:

V: I got us train tickets to Delhi Bani.. and maine tumhare adhaar number se e-card bhi nikalwa liya hai..

B: Accha hai Veeranshu! Mai packing kr leti hoon aur jo saman hatana hai usse hata deti hoon...Nikalna kb hai?

V: Kl raat ko, maine wahan ek flat bhi dekh liya hai..

B: great! Mai bhi kissi broker se baat kr lungi..

They both paused. It dawned upon them that they won't be living with each other anymore and this left a hollow feeling in their stomachs.

V: Tb tk mere saath reh lena..I mean you'll need your Ids..

B: Haan, vo Delhi jaakr Meera di ko post krne bol dungi..

Veer smiled at Bani and they both got to packing. Veer had already paid the month in advance so he did not have to settle that payment. The next day, Vani stood in front of the house. They locked it.

V: Mai ye chabi dekr aata hoon..tum seedha station pahunchna..

He turned to leave and Bani held his hand. He stopped. She hugged him.

B: I never said it I guess but thank you so much Veeranshu. You not only brought me out of a abusive house, you also saved me from those guys..You are a good man.

Veer ruffled his hair but was too shy to respond. Instead, he said.

V: Saath me chalte hai... (in mind: Pta nahi ye saath kitna aur hai, pr jitna bhi hai, uska ek bhi pal nahi khona mujhe)

Vani reached the station after returning the keys and were sitting on one of the chairs at the station. It was a night train and since it was a small place, not many people were outside on that station. Bani was sitting while Veer got tea for her from the stall. She smiled and took the cup.

B: I don't like anything with milk but damn! It is a little cold...

V: I won't judge, you can have some..

He winked and Bani giggled. Her eyes went to the station in-charge in black robes. He was eyeing them weirdly. Then, he rushed inside his cabin.

B: (in mind: weird!)

An hour later, Bani yawned and put her head on Veer's shoulder and asked how much time was left.

V: Bs thoda time aur..train late hai shyd..

He ruffled her hair and she snuggled into his shoulder for better sleep.

V: You can sleep, I'll wake you up..

BUT WHO'LL WAKE YOU UP?!

Veer looked up and saw two men smirking at them. Bani too was wide awake. She grabbed Veer's hand, ready to run.

V: You-

The men did not give him a chance to speak and sprayed something on their faces. Despite how much they tried to fight it, Vani drifted off to deep sleep. The men called someone up.

M: Boss! Kaam ho gaya hai...

JT: Bohot acche mere bacche!! Ab dono ke saath kya krna hai tujhe pata hai..
