B: Relax!!

She said it like Veer does. Veer cracked up a smile and pulled her into a hug again. Their first hug moments ago had ignited a new need for physical warmth in the two. They melted in each other's embrace.

'VEER????'

The both heard a female voice and parted. A pair of eyes looked at them really shocked.

Veer stood there shocked. Bani looked at the middle-aged woman in front of her. What should she do? Should she address her as Veer's wife would have? But she is not his wife! Given the situation, she would misunderstand. Bani looked around nervously.

Ch: Ye tu kya kr raha hai? Ye ladki kon hai??

She looked at Bani. She was wearing a mangalsutra and had sindoor.

Ch: Ye to shaadi shuda hai! Tu ek shadi shuda ladki ke saath aise flat me??? Chal kya raha hai Veer?

V: Maa, vo aap jaisa soch rahi hai waisa kuch nahi hai. Aap achanak yahan ..?

Ch: Mujhe laga mera beta yahan akele reh raha hai, do mahine ho gaye hai....sambhal aati hoon...accha hua aa gayi..tu to-

They were interrupted by Vani's landlady.

L: Bani beta, tum apna phone mere ghar pr hi bhool gayi..(looks at Chandrakala who was standing at the door) Ye kon hai?

V: Ye-ye meri maa hai aunty..

L: Oh, Namaste!

Ch: Aap?

L: Mai makan malkin. Vo Bani mere ghar ayi thi toh phone bhool gayi. Mai dene aa gayi. Accha ab chalti hoon. Bani beta acche se khatir karo apni saas ki..

Ch: Saas??

L: Haan! Waise apki bahu hai bohot pyaari...mujhe kaam hai, chalti hoon.

She left. Chandrakala looked at them shocked.

Ch: Ye teri biwi hai Veer???

It had been one hour since Chandrakala's unannounced arrival. She was crying on the sofa. Veer was kneeling in front of her. Bani was standing nervously with a glass of water and box of tissues.

Ch: (Sobs) Mere beta ne aisa kyu kiya...(Takes a tissue) Maine kbhi kissi cheez ke liye isse nahi roka...(Sobs)...Mai toh bohot open minded bhi hoon....Mujhe koi issue nahi hota...Isne mujhe bola kyu nahi...mai shaadi krwa deti...(Cries louder) Mujhe mere bete ne apni shaadi attend krne ka bhi mauka nahi diya...

V: Maa kb se ro rahe ho...maaf kr do.. I am sorry.

Ch: Chup!!! (Holds his ear) tune ye kyun kiya...humare ghar me kbhi kissi ne koi bhi rok-tok ki hai? To tune kyu nahi bataya???

B: Aunty ji, inhe chor dijiye...we are very sorry ..vo-

Ch: Tum kyu sorry bol rahi ho beta..Mujhe tumse kyu shikayat hogi...Mera beta hi mujhe ignore kr raha hai toh bahu se kya umeed lagana...Haye, kitne sapne they mere man ne..

V: Maa kyu itna drama kr rahi ho..

Ch: (Holds his ear tighter) Drama??? Baki ghar walo ko pata chalne de, phir pata chalega..

B: Aunty ji vo-

Veer hinted her not to reveal. They somehow calmed Chandrakala down. She went to wash her face and freshen up.

B: Veeranshu tumne meri help ki, I am very glad pr tumhari maa ko sb bata do. Kyu confusion create krna..

V: Bani, meri mom heart patient hai. I am glad vo ye shock digest kr gayi pr ab ek aur bada jhatka mai unhe nahi de skta. She is cool but not 'I-am-okay-with-live-in' cool.

Vani nodded. Chandrakala came and urged Bani to call her maa. That night Bani slept with her while Veer took the sofa.

Chandrakala stayed with them for a week. Bani's good nature won her over. She also noticed how she took care of Veer's every little things. She was truly impressed by Bani. She asked Bani if her family knows to which Bani replied she doesn't have one. So, Chandrakala assumed that because Bani is an orphan, her stupid son kept his wedding a secret.

She left after a week and gifted Bani her jhumkas.

B: Iski kaa zarurat hai mummyji..

Ch: Zarurat hai beta..is nalayak ne toh bataya nahi wrna poori tayari ke saath aati..anyways, tum toh kuch hafton me Mumbai aaogi hi...tb kasar poori kr lungi..

She left.

B: Veeranshu, tumhari maa ko kabhi to sach pata chalega na. Mai Mumbai akr jb alag rahungi toh unhe shaq nahi hoga...

V: We'll see about that later sweetheart.

Veer had started to like Bani a lot. She cared for him and her innocence attracted him. The seven days he was kept away from her due to Chandrakala, he realized his changed feelings. He realized his love.

V: (Thinks) I will truly make you mine Sweetheart. I will make you fall in love with me, want to be with me Sweetheart.

He started doing sweet gestures for her. He would often surprise her with small things. He cared for her truly. Bani had also started to like him.

It had been a few weeks since Chandrakala went back. Veer was home when his phone rang. It was a video call and he picked it up without seeing who it was. Bani was making food in the background while he was taking water from the fridge.

Balwant: VEERANSHU SINGHANIA!!!!! TUNE SHAADI KR LI???? BESHRM AULAD!! BAAP KO NAHI BULAYA...

All his family were shouting at him angrily in the background, a smug looking Chandrakala was in the background.

Ch: Sorry beta, maine socha tha ki mai nahi bataungi. Tum dono Mumbai aaoge tb baat krenge lekin aaj tumhare is dad ne mujhe kaha ki he is closer to you then I am. That he knows more about you...and You know mujhe harna pasand nahi hai so mere mu ne nikal gaya ki I know something about your life that he doesn't..

She didn't look apologetic. Infact she was glad that she could rub it into Balwant's face that she knew something about Veer that he didn't.

Ba: Tu ghar aa..ye tere peeche bahu hai na meri..

Bani moved slightly, feeling shy. She said 'namaste' softly. The family gushed over her. She was overwhelmed as she had never had such a big family.

T: Tu ghar aaja, hume milna hai teri wife se..

V: Bhai bs ek week ka kaam baki hai..hum aa jayenge..

He got scolded a lot and then convinced them to let them be for one more week.

The next day, Veer's staff, who adhered to Bani, was on a sick leave so she took his lunch herself. She was in his office when someone saw her and called the local gunda, her was-going-to-be husband, whom she ran away from. He immediately rushed to the office without thinking.

Vani were in the office. Veer was busy reading a file while Bani was feeding him with her hands. He barged in.

Vani parted away shocked.

R: Saali!!!! Shaadi se mujhe dokha dekr bhaag gayi thi aur yahan gulchare uda rahi hai..

V: OYE!!! Zaban sambhal krna wrna noch dunga..

R: Tu kon hai be..

V: Tu kon hai jo meri biwi se iss tarah se baat kr raha hai..

R: BIWI??!! KAMINI...TO TU APNE ASHIQ KE LIYE BHAAGI THI..

He moved to slap Bani but Veer blocked it. He began fighting Ranvijay. Bani was panicking for Veer. Office people started to gather hearing the commotion. She rushed out and asked someone to call police.

Vani were in the police station. Ranvijay was sitting at the police chair. He had a black eye and multiple bruises. Veer also had a lip cut and Bani was cleaning it with her pallu. She was also crying a lot.

V: Shhh gharwali, rona band kro..

B: Kaisa na royun Veer? Meri wajah se tumhari life me kitne troubles ho rahe hai.. aaj tumhe kuch ho jata toh..

V: Uff, you bring excitement into my life. Aur waise bhi, jb maut ka dr na ho toh kon kambakht jeena chahega..

B: Chup kro tum. Is time bhi bakwas kr rahe ho..

Ranvijay dad and Bani's chachaji also came there. They called Bani names but Veer defended her. Police was favouring Ranvijay as they were powerful at local level.

P: Kyu be hero? Ladki bhaga li tune Diwan sahab ki?

V: Mai hero nahi villain hi thik hoon...aise ulte logon ko do minute me seedha kr doon..

Bani saw Veer was getting very angry. She spoke calmly.

B: Sir mai balik hoon aur ye meri zabardasti shaadi kr rahe they..

Police knew that law was on Vani's side. So, he started to threaten them. Veer gave a quick call to Tapish. Soon the DIG called the police officer and all got scared. Now they started to favour Veer and let Vani go.

Bani hugged Veer after returning home.

B: Thank you so much Veeranshu. Tumhare aane se meri saari takleef door ho gayi pr tumhari badh gayi..

V: Shh sweetheart. Anything for you..

B: Why??? Kyu krte ho tum mere liye itna..

V: Isn't it obvious Sweetheart? I love you..

B: I love you too Veer.

That night, Veer took her to a romantic dinner, they shared their feelings and had a good time.

The day finally came! Vani reached Mumbai. Bani was very nervous to meet Veer's family.

Suddenly lights were on. The mansion was beautifully decorated. The family members came out of every direction and circled Vani.

Ch: Vo sb chor tu Veer. Aaj tum dono ki phir se shaadi hai, uspr dhyan de..

Vani: What??

The family urged they wanted to see their wedding so they have to marry again. Unknown to them, it was Vani's first marriage too. They were shy but knew they were in love. They got married properly with the blessings of the family and lived happily there on.
