After we had talked, Aine found me two books she thought would contain useful information. I sat down in an armchair and read from the first one, The Abridged History of Concordia. Aine told me to skip to the last two chapters as they were more important. This is what was written.

Age of the Star Queen and the Lone Wolf
This age began in 8957 and ended in 9008. It began when Astrea, the star queen, inherited the throne from her father after he died in the great Concordian-Discordian battle. Astrea was called the star queen because her mother was a fallen star and she had some of her mother's ethereal beauty and magic. She married Connel, more commonly known as the Lone Wolf, when she was twenty five years old. He had been her childhood friend and had helped her in the great Concordian-Discordian battle. As most of you know, Connel's mother was a lycanthrope, and this contributed to his name. This age was full of happiness and prosperity. No wars were fought then. They had a daughter named Celeste. They had a son named Channe three years later. Celeste unfortunately died in giving birth to her daughter, Cynth, at twenty five years old. Her husband had died in battle three months prior, so Astrea and Connel raised Cynth. Channe never married. Unfortunately, this age ended on a sour note. Prince Channe was corrupted by a demon named Adolfi when he journeyed into said demon's territory. He ended up killing his mother and father who were only sixty five at the time. None knew if the then fifteen year old Crown Princess Cynth had escaped. The new age would be known as the age of the Evil Wolf King.

I paused before reading the next chapter. I didn't know it was this tragic! I got up and walked over to Aine who was reading a book entitled Flying, an important art. "Aine, does nobody outside the Celestial Rebels know that Cynth is alive?" I asked.

She dismissively replied,"The answer to that question is in the last chapter, read it."

"Ok," I said. She was obviously eager to get back to reading so I sat back down in my armchair and flipped to the last chapter. This is what it read.

Age of the Evil Wolf King
This age started in 9008 and continues to this day. After the Evil Wolf King took the throne, his first act was to conquer Discordia, which he succeeded in doing with the help of Adolfi, the great demon, in 9009. He then took the remaining five kingdoms in quick succession. By 9012 he had all of the kingdoms and no one to challenge his rule as he had mercilessly killed all the members of the royal families. Soon after his victories though, in 9013, a threat finally rose. The lost princess Cynth had returned and she was the rightful ruler. During her five years in hiding she had been trained by the wizards of Azreal. She is now one of the most skilled warriors and one of the most skilled mages. She has convinced many to revolt against the Evil Wolf King. Sources say at least a thousand are scattered in the seven kingdoms. Three hundred of them are her main warriors as they are most skilled. The others are tasked with spying, stealing and recruiting. They are called the Celestial Rebels and their territory is in the Emerald Forest. None know where exactly in the forest's vastness it is located, it must be heavily concealed as it has been over a year and none have found it, none who are not Celestial Rebels. Many hope that they succeed in taking back the throne as Channe, the Evil Wolf King is a cruel tyrant.
