Fliming: "The Ground Can Have Some Goodness Too"

Andrew had never officially been in the man's home city. It was beautiful, despite people claiming it to be filthy and one of the worst in the country. There was a slight fog overhead, and Andrew looked out the windows of the car, unused to being so low. The two men stepped out, closing the car door and walking up the street to the museum. They looked up almost simultaneously, looking at how beautiful the sky was above. Andrew started to fly up, but the man couldn't move. He was stuck on the ground, his powers malfunctioning once more. Andrew looked down, seeing the dilemma. He started flying back down, standing next to the man and staying firmly on the ground. Sometimes, that was what they both needed. A reminder that they could enjoy the normalcies of human life, a reminder that they weren't just beings of the sky. They had Earthly treasures too, things they loved and could never leave. The men started walking around the museum, taking in the sights and enjoying everything it had to offer. It was a music museum, and somehow Space Oddity managed to pop up on the speakers. More like the man made it appear for Andrew, a friendly gesture showing his love for the other man. For they were interconnected, they had a bond stronger than any definable word. And maybe the ground wasn't so bad after all, for it was much more stable than the buildings in the sky that because of human error could cause chaos and ruin.
