Time with Grandpa

Arakan, a hero that fights only using martial arts, a dove that married the lovely Shiori. Now the two have a cute baby girl, Lynelle. Lynelle is the only white kitten of the entire Mao clan, she has golden eyes and like her father she has two small wings on back. Though right at this moment, this little kitten is being babysat by her grandfather,Shin Mao.

Shin Mao held her in his arms, carefully with the little one in his arms. He simply adored her from the moment he saw her, and wanting to shower her with all the love his heart had. Ever since his visit to Pure Heart , and seeing his son, he decided to pay all his grandchildren equal attention and love. Though he wouldn't admit this to anyone, but Lynelle was in fact his favorite. She was just so cute and deserve to be cherished forever.

Lynelle loved her grandfather, she loved how he plays with her, sharing stories with him though she doesn't really understand him, and just his company. She never like to be alone, even a infant can sense how loneliness is a fear no one deserves. The fear came when her mother and father had trained a bit too long, though the seconds are not much to them, to an infant it is like an eternity. So nowadays, Lynelle is always with one of her parents or another relative until she can handle being alone.

"So my little angel, how shall we spend the day? Shin asked, tickling Lynelle under her chin

" Hehe! Up! Grpa Up! " Lynelle giggles as she put her paws as high as she could, gesturing that she wanted to fly like Shin could.

Shin was hesitate, he knew what his precious little Lynelle wanted though he was too overprotective to grant this wish. "Now now, let's not try that just yet. How about we make some cookies? How does that sound?" He takes her in the kitchen, hoping the mentioning of sweets would sway her mind away from flying in the sky.

Lynelle wanted to fly herself but her wings weren't strong enough, according to her father it would take about another three weeks before she would be ready to take to the sky. So when she saw Shin fly, she wanted him to see the wonders of the skies. Though like Shin predicted, the mentioning of cookies made her forget the sky for awhile. Forgotten just for that moment at least.

Shin prepared the dough while Lynelle helped till the small clumps into balls to later become cookies. She was covered in flour that would almost be invisible if not for her orange shirt covered in the stuff as well. After she finished her task, she small the chocolate chips in a bowl that was meant to be added but forgotten. Lynelle decided they would be a perfect snack and begin to help herself to the sweet chips.

Shin out the cookies in the oven, and turned to see Lynelle a mess, eatting  the last pawful of chocolate chips. He chuckled a bit and scooped her up.

"Looks like you made more then cookies, sweetie. How about we get you cleaned up while the cookies are baking. After all, a hero always cleans up their messes" He took her in the bathroom and cleaned away the flour and chocolate, revealing her white fur that shine as the water polished it. Her golden eyes glitter we in the water beauty. After getting dried off, Shin put Lynelle in one of Shiori old shirt that she wore when she was little Lynelle age.

Lynelle didn't really like bathes, so she was fussy the whole time, though hearing how her grandpa laugh at this, she tried to tolerate it for him. She may not have gotten the chance to fly today but seeing her grandfather appt was just as good.

"There all clean. Now have about those cookies?" Shin scooped her up and nuzzles her head against his own.

"Luv u Grpa" Lynelle giggles

Shin smiled and made his way to the kitchen and he kiss the little kitten on her forehead. "I love you too Lynelle" She held her close, wanting this moment to stay like this forever.
