At the Brunhilde household:

Akemi is helping his mother,Brunhilde are polishing the weapons for future battles. They work hard throughout the day until they finish before nightfall. Both exhausted but proud of the work they achieved. Akemi hopes for a few new tunes to add to his playlist and to train more with his new spear this year. Brunhilde just wished to spend more time with her kids. Aura makes dinner for everyone to celebrate the beginning for the new year, even though she is not the best cook and her cooking is always bitter and burn. Aura vows to do her best to learn more about what heroes from the past did to inspire the heroes of the present to be who they are today. Perhaps this would be the year that she would ask her father to reach her self defense. As for Atlas, he was on bed rest due to a massive injury on his arm and chest. He return from a mission to protect a young noble from a potential assassination attempt. He protected the young noble well but he was greatly hurt in the process, this year he would be more careful. It was a promise.

At Minori household:

Minori was currently staying at her father household since Buster was hibernating in one of the spare rooms there. It would be quite lonely since Khalon passed. In the past, he would be at her side while their little Dragon kitten slumbered away. Now she had to be alone for a while. Her father and mother would always check up on her but it wasn't exactly the same. Hopefully this year she could heal some of this heartache.

At the Yasu household:

Shun would always help Yasu with the tasks she had on preparations for New Year. She often would rely on her magic, yet her husband never refuse to help her. Shun would go do things that he would have refuse to do in the past like helping her  dresses for social events and daily food shopping. Then the twins were born and he changed. He will be a even greater father for the new year. As for herself she would study more spells and help her daughters learn more complicated magic. She did miss her daughter, Bakula since she was hibernating. It was more painful for Chiyo since they were rarely separated. It would be a difficult few months. Chiyo was reading in her room, it was a book about different monsters and how to defeat them. When Bakula woke up, Chiyo and her will defeat all the monsters who face them. That was her vow for the new year.

At the Hinata household:

The house was as noisy as ever like it was every New Year day. As always, Carmine and Euno had an argument over something that could be about some nonsense. Then they would tell and trade each other until they get into a physical fight. Thankfully her husband Katsu stopped them just before they hurt themselves. They were always  like this ever since Fabron began to hibernate. Hopefully this year, they wouldn't be so childish. Euno wish was to gain more experience on repair more items as well as pickpocket more sweets. Carmine desires to become even more in touched with the powers he was born with. Katsu just wished he can be a good father to his kittens even if he was not their blood father. He would share his wisdom with them for as long as if he with them. He would be there unlike the previous fathers, he would be in their lives.

At the Shiori household:

Arakan held his little kitten in his arms, humming a soft time lubally which his mother sung him as a child. He couldn't believe was already a year old and how much his life has changed since Shiori came into his life. He held Lynelle close to him and sing even louder as his heart became as ease. Shiori was close by as she lean her head on his shoulder and joined him in his song. Both were happy that in just to have Lynelle in their lives now. Shiori was happy that this year she would watch her daughter grow and become a adorable hero that she would be proud of. How she would teach her all the skills that she learned from her father and her past experiences. Arakan looked forward to this year where he would watch Lynelle grow and watch how she learns about all the things she would witness and learn from not only her parents but all those she encounters on her journey to being the greatest hero she would be. For that is the wish of all parents for a child.
