Yasu was preparing to reach her daugthers some basic magic today, it was quite exciting for her since it would see if her daughters possessed any magical abilities.  Shun was the one who suggested this as he believed that the twins may had inherited her magical powers. Yasu believed this as well since both girls seemed to be able to sense magical energy from magical relics which Yasu brought back from her travels. A person who can wield magic are some of the very free that can wield magic themselves.Yasu thought it be best to only try one spell today since spells drain younger magical user faster than experienced ones. A simple levitation spell would sufficed for now, at least to see if the girls did possess magic.

"Chiyo, Bakula come down. Mommy wants to teach you something that may aid you in your future hero careers" She call them from down stairs.

As she predicted, the sounds of little paws were rushing down the stairs in a hurry pace. First was Chiyo, the young bunny hybrid was always faster if the two. Bakula was right behind her by a few steps. Chiyo instantly clinged to her mother as she jumped with excitement. Bakula approved her mother before sitting down in front of her, she was much more patient like her father. Yasu smiled before petting her daughter's head, so the little bunny could calm down. After a while both girls were sitting down in front of her. It was time for the lesson to begin.

"Now girls, today we will see if you can perform magic such as I do. Your father and I have noticed that you can sense the magic in my relics. Only those who possess magical  can sense their energy. So that means you two can also use magic. You two will start off with a simply levitation spell" She explained was she demonstrated the levitation spell with such ease. Nothing  that required much of her power

Chiyo eyes lit up at the mentioning of magic, she had always dream that  she too could cast spells just like her mother. A step closer for her to become a legendary hero just like her mother. She was practically jumping from her spot as she was ready to learn her first spell.

Bakula was interested as well, her poison and snake like abilities alongside magic would be a great help. Though she rather take after her father fighting skills, there were a few spells she like to keep handy if needed. She did her best to calm Chiyo down while listening to her mother.

After they both watched how their mother had performed the spell, they listen to how she was able to levitate the object of her choosing. First one must concentrate on the object's weight then focus on lifting it up before flinging or placing it on whatever the user wishes. The larger the object the more concentration empower it takes to use to lift or throw the object,So the user must keep in mind the magical energy and their meaning energy they have left to you such a spell.Today they will practice levitating an apple, a simple object with not much weight. The perfect practice item for the two beginners.

Chiyo started first as she used all her powers of concentration to lift the apple from the table. At first her eyes lit up a bit as the apple was slowly lifting from the table before it dropped immediately as if nothing happened at all.

"Good first try sweetie" Yasu smiled as she petted Chiyo ears softly.

It may have not been a successful try but it did prove that Chiyo has the potential to use magic. Now it was time to see if her other child could use magic as well.

Bakula used the spell with little to no effort, she was a natural and it was shows that she would be able to perform spells like her mother in no time.

"Bakula, you did it so flawlessly....I am so proud of you!" Yasu hugged Bakula tightly

Chiyo was happy for her sister too but she wished that she do the spell so flawlessly like Bakula had. She sighed before going to her room. It was clear who her mother's favorite child was. Though that wouldn't stop her from learning magic. She would learn for herself. Though that  didn't stop the tears from flowing down her cheeks. She would never be able to keep up with her sister, no matter how hard she trained.  Would her parents ever truly be proud of her as they were of Bakula?

"Sis, you were great!" Bakula smiled and surprised hugged her from behind

Chiyo smiled

It didn't matter. She has her sister to help her! Maybe she can help with her magic too.
