Bakula was one of his nieces which Mao Mao did not fully understand. He never could find something the do of them shared an interest in. What made things worse was that Badgerclops and Adorabat were great friends with her. Normally this wouldn't bother him but for some reason it did. Today he would make it his mission to understand Bakula. Chiyo had a cold and to keep Bakula healthy, Mao Mao offered to take care of her till Chiyo was healed.

Shun came by to drop Bakula off. Like usual he only greeted with nods before he left. Bakula entered and hugged her uncle. Yes, their usual greetings to one another. She was nearly as tall as him but still small, pretty soon she be as tall as her mother.

"Hi uncle Mao Mao! Thanks for letting me stay" She smiled, a bit of sorrow in her eyes. Most likely from being separated from Chiyo.

Mao Mao smiled "Anytime, my dear niece. You can have my bunk while I shall sleep in Sofia!"

" Why do you have a name for couch" She asked, confused on why her uncle named very object he held.

"Actually Badgerclops named her that. We actually had a couch tank called Tony but the Sky pirates used it against us. Which sadly forced us to destroy it...." He teared up slightly from the memory

" Pirates? Cool! Can we fight them?! " Bakula asked eagerly as she got out her silver fang daggers.

"Sure! Though we would have to wait until after they attack the valley. You are after we defeat them, they always seem to be in a different area. So to safe time, we have alarms to tell us when they have enter the-"

The alarms when off interrupting him. Seems like it was Bakula's lucky day. Mao Mao and the other rushed to the aerocycle. As Mao Mao drove, Badgerclops held Bakula carefully to assure that she wouldn't fall. Bakula held Adorabat so she wouldn't fall either, even though Adorabat could easily fly. It didn't take long for them to see that the Sky pirates were causing havoc to the valley. Mao Mao landed the aerocycle close by as he remove Geraldine from her sheath. He met eyes with Orangusnake.

"You really don't learn so you, Orangusnake. The Ruby will never fall into your hands! Just give up now and maybe we'll let you go" Mao Mao warned.

Badgerclops and Adorabat were next to him, weapon as our and ready but something was missing. Rather someone. Mao Mao looked around to see Bakula no where in sight.

"Oh, looking for this?" Orangusnake had Bakula in his arms. " And hear I thought that little winged kitten was your only niece. Now if you don't want her to get hurt than I suggest you give us the Ruby " He held his holo weapon which was now an axe to Bakula neck

"Oh so dull" Bakula eye rolled " How many villains actually thought up this plan? Hmmm..quite a few hundred. I'm guessing that you weren't the most bright egg before you hatched, or is the monkey the brains? Either way this is stupid"

"HEY! Do not mock Lord Orangusnake! I will chop off your head!" This only got him madder.

Bakula smirked, just as she planned. She focused her magic on him then levitate him off the ground. Which caused Orangusnake to get a bit scared.

"Put me down!" He demanded, glaring at her.

Though she was now behind Mao Mao who glared at Orangusnake. He jumped and slashed at Orangusnake which caused him to be sent off from away from the valley.

"I'm okay!" Orangusnake called out from were he ended up

Badgerclops and Adorabat quickly make short work out of his crew as they followed after their boss.

"We're okay!" They called back

Mao Mao looked at Bakula, a bit impressed. "Enraging your opponent so they couldn't see your true plan of attack. I see you learn well from your mother" He patted her head

Bakula looked up to him, a smile on her face as her tongue flickered in the air. "You taught me that one"

"Wait...you learned it from me....but I thought you didn't want to do anything with me since we had nothing in common" He look away, frowning a bit

" Why wouldn't I listen to my favorite hero uncle? We do have things in common. We like teasing our enemies before fighting. Polishing our weapons. Not to mention you always tell the greatest stories about our relatives! I love spending time with you incl- Are you crying! "

Mao Mao sniffles and wiped away his tears, hiding the fact that he had been crying in the first place. "Of course not! Now let's head back home so I can tell you takes of Great Great Aunt Blackbeard!" He took her paw and walk with her back to the aerocycle.

Bakula couldn't wait!
