Thief in the Night

At first the Universe was nothing but unorganized energy. From this energy was a god created, his name, Panthius. When Panthius took his first breathe, he created a woman, Prota. With his exhale he created a man, Secundas, both gods in their own right. The two, brother and sister, were soon proactive, married, and bore themselves seven children.

Panthius, seeing Secundas's and Prota's offspring, decided to create for them a home, this home is known to mortals as the heavens, Ouran. Nevertheless, this was not enough for Secundas. He knew about his father's power. Panthius had two golden eyes, made from the purest of metals. His eyes were all seeing, able to see everything in the universe at once, and where the source of his power.

Secundas devised a plan to steal his father's eyes, but dared not speak it, less his Father's eyes see his mouth move, and his ears turn to hear Secundas's words.

"I will gouge out his eyes while he sleeps." Secundas thought, "He cannot see me while he sleeps."

Though this was right, Panthius was a god, he didn't require sleep. Secundas had to develop a plan to cause his father to grow weary. From the finest grapes of Ouran, Secundas made wine. The potent substance was then given a magical spell over it, causing it to make all who drank it grow weary.

When Panthius saw Secundas brew a new wine, his mind grew curious.

"Son, is that wine?" Panthius asked.

"Indeed father, drink. I brewed this special for you." Secundas replied.

And with that, Panthius drank from the cup, falling weary. Secundas watched as his father found a place to rest his head. While his father slept, Secundas grabbed the golden eyes from Panthius and swallowed them.

When Panthius woke, he realized his sight was gone, and that he saw nothing but darkness. Panthius cursed as he clenched his fist.

"My son Secundas why have you done this to me?"

The very heavens trembled with Panthius's anger, and Secundas coward.

"Secundas, with what little strength I have left, let it be know I bestow this curse upon you. You will face a similar fate."

After Panthius spoke these words, Secundas imprisoned him inside Nivraga, or known by mortals as Hell. From there, the pain and suffering Panthius bore, made him weep; and from Panthius's tears the Gefyra (The Eternal Stream of the Twelve Worlds) was made.
