Title:- Bad touch

10th August 2021

I am so excited today. My exams are finally over and that too before my cousin brother's marriage. I can finally attend it without any burdens. My uncle's driver Ramesh is going to pick us up. The marriage will happen in my village. I can't be more happier.

12th August 2021

I am so confused. I don't know what to do or who to tell. I just feel so dirty. What happened is, yesterday my 5 years old nephew started to cry out of nowhere. So I decided to take him out for a walk. It was around 4p.m when we went for a walk. Since it's winter it was already getting a little dark.

So we both were just roaming around, looking at flowers and different trees. Suddenly my nephew requested to see the papaya tree in our campus so I took him there. To my surprise Ramesh was also there. He gave us a huge smile when he saw us.

We both went to him and my nephew started to ask him about the papaya tree. He started to explain and I was just standing there, listening to their conversation.

Out of nowhere Ramesh grabbed my left hand and started to tug it. I was so confused as to why he was doing it. He kept saying he will help me learn how to pluck the fruit from the tree. I kept refusing and I was trying to remove his hands but he was persistent.

Then he did something that I will never forget in my life. With my hand he was grabbing,he started to rub it on his body and his private parts. I felt so disgusted and also I was very scared as there was no else there, only my 5 year old nephew who had no idea of what was happening.

I felt like crying so somehow I managed to free my hand. I grabbed my nephew's hand and started to walk away from there as fast as I could. While I was leaving I heard him laugh so he knew what he did.

I don't know what to do or who to tell. And most importantly am I mistaken? I am so embarrassed something like this happened to me.

13th August 2021

I am still shocked by that day's event. Thankfully I didn't saw him after that incident. And I hoped it stayed that way but boy was I wrong.

Today we all cousins were sitting together and playing games. Some servants were serving drinks and tea. One of them also came in front of me to serve. I was too engrossed in the game that I didn't notice who that person was.

The person called my name and to my horror it was him. He was standing there with a tea in his hand. He had this horrible smirk plastered all over his face. He knew what he did and he knew how I felt.

I said no and quickly went to my room. I ended up crying myself to sleep, with a determination that I was going to expose him.

16th August 2021.

A lot happened in the last two days. My cousin got married on 14th and we were all done with the rituals.

We came home today morning and my days are back to how it used to be.

But before leaving I told my mom everything that happened and she believed me!! She talked about it to my aunt and slowly everyone knew what happened. My brothers were all furious.

They gave him a very nice beating, something he will never forget in this lifetime just like I will never forget what he did. He was also fired from his job and that day I came to know that he was a married man with two kids. How shameful.

I am very glad I told my mom what happened. Though I was very scared, I didn't let it stop me from revealing the truth. Had I not told her, he would have gotten away with it and I would have to live in fear my whole life.

And I am also very glad that I knew the difference between a good touch and a bad touch. Now that man is out of our lives and I finally feel at peace.
