Australia series after T20WC 2007 win...

The night team landed in Australia young Rohit Sharma wasn't sleepy. They would take time to adjust to time changes of course.

So now apparently he was standing in front of MS Dhoni's door knocking it quietly. 

"Come in, Ro..." a voice answered from inside.

"How do you know it's me?" Ro asked in a surprised kiddish tone entering the room.

MS sat with his bag wide open arranging stuff.

"Because no one knocks. Even you don't have it." MS smiled. 

Ro gave a confused shrug. he finds everything so new here. How can he just brust into a seniors room, his captain's room to be specific, just like that. 

"Leave it. you had some work?" MS said shaking his head. 

"Ya...woh...I came to give this you..." Rohit said offering a steel lunch box.

"For me?" MS raised his eyebrows curiously as he opens the box to find sweets.

"My mom makes the best sweets... Everyone in the Mumbai team used to love them...so...i thought..." Rohit said shrugging.   

'Well, you got me cake, so I brought you sweets' was his mind voice.

"Umm...They are yummy..." MS said as he took a bite. "Don't tell to yuvi Ok?... He will complete evrything in an hour. I will hide it from him"

"Me? What will I say to him? mujhe tho usse dekthe hi dar lagtha hai." Ro whispered sadly. 

"Ro...Don't take Yuvi seriously. He talks nonsense but he is not bad at heart." MS spoke. But  Ro still looked sad.

MS did notice that Ro admires Yuvi soo much and Yuvi's arrogance is making him sad but how to make this kid understand that... YUVI IS MAD.

"You know what? He even bullied me for months when I newly came." MS said in an attempt to cheer up Ro.

"Someone BULLIED YOU" Ro spoke in shock as his eyes widened and his mouth opened wide.

Isn't mahi Bhai invincible? He even shouts at Yuvi paa and Yuvi listen to him too. Tough he don't talk much before Sachin paaji, Rahul Bhai but that's different they are legends....How can anyone bully him. IMPOSSIBLE. 

MS for a moment felt that Ro is looking at him in similar way they all look at Dada but he let a pass quickly.  No one in the world can be Dada... Let alone him.

"well, Yea..." MS spoke.

"Then?" Ro probed leaning foward with interest as if it is some movie story.

"Then Nothing. One day I asked why is he always angry with me. He laughed and we became friends." MS shrugged 

"Just like that?" Ro asked even more surprised now.

"bola na...Yuvi pagal hai...so dont take his words seriously." MS tried explaining. 

"So that what you are saying to youngsters... Ki yuvi Pagal hai... Wow... The great thing to say. I will never talk to you again. From today we are not friends anymore, infact from now." Yuvi shouted dramatically as he breaks into the room and storms out angrily. 

MS rolled his eyes and was about to follow yuvi when his eyes fell little Ro who looked more sacred and sad than ever. 

Signing MS sits back beside Rohit.

"Hey, it's ok Ro. You dont have to take so much stress." MS said calmly. 

"He hates me more now and he is angry with you also." Ro said in an sad whisper looking down.

"Ro...Neither he is angry with me nor he hates you. That is what I'm trying to explain you for so long."  MS spoke little sternly.

"now even you are angry with me" Ro complained meekly wondering why did he even come. Now everyone are scolding him. It was better if he himself ate all his sweets.

MS suddenly felt helpless. He wasn't definitely angry. he is sure neither is Yuvi but how to explain this stubborn kid. Arggg...Goddd.

But can't really blame him. MS himself was a kid who throw all the tantrums in the world now suddenly someone else is throwing tantrums at him. 

"No...im not." Making sure his tone isn't stern this time but before he could continue Yuvi comes back again shouting. "Are...I acted so well...You have to come after me and pacify me but you.... You never came. why are you like this Yaar."

Mahi gave Ro a 'this is what I was talking about' look. And Ro looked as if he saw sun and moon together.

"it's ok Mahi. Just because I'm too good I will forgive you if you comes for a party with me." Yuvi spoke with attitude. 

"It's ok...Don't Forgive... I won't come." MS said palinly rolling his eyes.

"Mahi...Pleaseeee na yaar. Paaji is not allowing me to go alone. Zak tho bed sai uthega nahi and Bajju went to some cousins house... Bahot acha party hai mahi...pleasseeeee." Yuvi nagged ignoring Ro.

"It's gonna be awesome. It's very famous here. Come na mahi..." he added.

"Can i come too?" Ro added excited. He was never been to any party outside India as he traveled very less with A team and also he used to look like under 18.

"abey... Who the hell are taking you?" Yuvi asked with Yuvi like arrogance making Ro sad again.

"We." MS said with a Challenging smile.

"We?" Yuvi asked pointing his hand at MS and himself to confirm. MS nodded with the same challenging look.

"OK" Yuvi smiled in joy. "Oyy shana... Go get ready fast... Go"  

Ro gave a triumph smile to MS before he ran out excited. 

While Yuvi stayed back trying to take Mahi's new t-shirt become...

1) Obviously it looks best on him.

2) Mahi looks worst in everything anyway  

They fought for it of course messing the whole room but Yuvi somehow managed to snatched the shirt and ran out of the room. While MS sat back planing a long complaints list that he sould give to Dada.

After an hour, Yuvi, Rohit, MS, and Sonu were in some pub doing some crazy stuff which they assumed as dance. Yuvi was in full swag njoying to the fullest as he was making weird faces alone with MS. Rohit understand why every says..."It's Yuvi. You shouldn't take him seriously." as Yuvi suddenly started as if he knows Ro for decades.

After 30 mins or so, MS got bored. Loud music and that disco lighting irritated him. So he decided to go out for sometime.

Yuvi was already overdrunk. Sonu was drunk too but he is lot better than Yuvi. 

While Ro is under strict control. He still doesn't know his capacity exactly. Last time when he overdrunk after their WC win. Mahi Bhai was visibly pissed. Though he took care of him entire night that's the other thing.

But they are enjoying to the fullest without a doubt as they danced  like a manic as they loudly shouted out the wrong lyrics with so much confidence.

Suddenly Ro tripped over his legs pushing the man behind him a little. "Sorry" Ro spoke hurriedly but he turned around with anger with drink spilled on his shirt and face.

Sonu came in between pushing Ro back to explain it was just a mistake. But He looks like he already made up his mind to fight. He pushed Sonu roughly. He wobbled but Ro held him before he falls. 

This somehow ignited Yuvi so much the he punched that guys nose so hard that it started bleeding.  

Next thing Ro know was 4 huge well-built man approaching them in full anger. Yuvi was drunk but he could have handled them even in full conscious state. Sonu and Ro... They looked half the size of those man.

Sacred Ro looked around frustrated for Bhai but couldn't find  him much to his panic.

Sonu holding yuvi trying to drag him so that they can run away But then It would be Yuvi if he listens to some sensible advise ever.

He was sure all 3 of them was going to be beaten up badly but still went stood beside Yuvi. Can't leave them alone even though he know he won't stand 0.5 sec.

But just before they could get hit Ro or Yuvi guards came and pushed them away. Ro looked around confued to find angry MS standing behind the gaurds. Ro signed in relief.

He marched towards them and dragged Yuvi out as Sonu and Ro followed them silently.

Yuvi was so drunk that MS had to support him while walking back to hotel. Entire walk back to hotel only conversation happened was Yuvi talking some random nonsense and MS giving sarcastic savage replies.

MS literally Dumped Yuvi on the bed as they reached his room And Sonu started being Mother hen and took care of stuff like removing his phone, Bracelets etc...

MS noticed Ro still standing at the door worriedly looking at yuvi.

"He is fine. This has become a routine now. If he gets a nice round of coating from Dada and Paaji, Then will get straight." MS said patting Ro's back and leading him to his room.

"Yuvi paa ki koi galthi nahi hai... Those people were trying to bully sonu.So he fought." Ro defended anxiously.

"Stop defending him. He would just need a reason to fight.Idiot." MS said before suddenly stoping and turnYou ok? you didn't get hurt did you?ing towards Ro.

"You ok right? you didn't get hurt.did you?"

Ro shock his head horizontally meaning no. MS nodded.

"I was scared though. I looked for you but couldn't find you." Rohit said.

"But You came just in time. I know you will handle everything." Rohit added looking at MS with so much trust that... It scared MS. 

"I, of course, can't fight with those big men" MS Joked hiding the uneasy feeling.

"but you will never let us get hurt. You will do something. I won't get sacred with you around Bhai." Ro said confidently with a sweet smile.

It was unmistakably the look they gave to dada because they know he would protect them at any cost.

MS was out of words. So much trust... It's scary...what if he fails this boy. 

But seeing Ro was still looking at him with the same admiration gave him an new unexplainable feeling. His heart did fill with so much warmth. 

"Go sleep... Good Night Ro..." He said smiling as he ruffled his little Ro's hair.

"Good night Bhai..." Ro nodded as he walked into his room to have deep peaceful sleep leaving MS to do his sharing of Overthinking...

That night before slipping into deep sleep MS promised himself that He might not perfect like dada But he would do anything and everything in his power to keep this kiddo safe...to not let him down.

But back then he didn't know.... One kid actually became innumerable kids...And he will become a universal Bhai...
