8th Droplet of Water: The Water’s Tear

“Where could that treasure be?”, Ren asked.

“It sure is hard to find”, Eve seconded.

“Yes, it really is, since there’s nothing here but dusts, boulders and ruins”, Lyon said.

“Hey, don’t you have any leads using your magic?”, Gray looked at Hibiki who was busy using his magic.

“It’s no use; my Archive magic can’t detect anything. Whatever it is that’s protecting it, it surely is powerful”, Hibiki explained, his expression showing his frustration.

“Well that leaves us no choice, men”, Nichiya posed.

Juvia suddenly stopped.

“What is it Juvia?”, Lyon asked.

“There’s…….something…”, Juvia said but can’t quite put into words what she wanted to say.

“Something?”, Gray asked, looking over at her.

“I feel strange here”, Juvia started, she walked two steps but stopped again, then came back to where she stood before. “This spot is strange”, she pointed to where she was standing.

“What do you….”, before Gray could finish, there was an earthquake that suddenly erupted. All of them stumbled and landed to the ground unable to keep their balance.

Juvia suddenly laid both her hands to the ground where she told the others was strange. Suddenly it lit up.

“WHA-WHAT THE!”, Lyon exclaimed. They all fell when a hole appeared before them.

“What the heck!”, Natsu shouted, anticipating the sudden earthquake.

“What is happening now?”, Lucy asked in fright.

“The island is…”, Jura said.

“A bad parfum”, Ichiya said with a pose.

“Why the heck are you posing!”, Lucy and Natsu shrieked with disgust.

“Danger!”, Erza tried to take everyone’s attention. She was talking about the waves which were getting larger by the second.

“Now what!”, Happy’s eyes were large.

“Kyahh!!”, Jenny and the other girls shrieked out.

“The island is moving!”, Cherry shouted out.

“It’s just an earthquake!”, Lily said.

“Everyone, stay down!”, Wendy told them.

“Waaahhh! The boulders are!”, Charle pointed towards the falling boulders towards them.

“Tch, troublesome mission”, Gajeel annoyingly said.

“Ungggh”, Juvia groaned when she opened her eyes. She tried to sit up and looked around her. The place she saw looked like a shrine with crystal like stones lighting up and illuminating the entire place blue. The waters were illuminated as well that makes it looking like a magical pond.

“Where are we?”, Eve asked, trying to sit up as well.

“This place looks extravagant”, Ren said.

“Indeed”, Nichiya said.

“Is everyone alright?”, Hibiki asked.

“Probably”, Lyon said. “Juvia-chan, are you alright?”, Lyon took her hands with affection.

“Uhh, yeah”, Juvia’s eyes looked for someone who appears to be missing at that time. “Where’s Gray?”, she asked.

“Umm, can you please move?”, Gray’s voice was heard. Juvia quickly noticed where it come from. She saw Gray under her, immediately out of her own reflex actions, she jumped away blushing as to what just happened.

“Wh-Why are you under Juvia…..I mean me!”, Juvia was blushing mad.

“Well….”, Gray tried to remember what happened.

Flashback

“Ahhh!”, everyone shouted as they fall. Gray took notice that Juvia was falling head first so he grabbed her out of instinct. Juvia fainted when something hit her head before Gray took a hold of her. Lyon and the others tried to take care of the falling debris and he used himself as a cushion to save her from a hard fall which ended up having him under Juvia’s unconscious body.

End of Flashback

“Well…..you fainted, and I tried to help you”, Gray simply said.

“Th-Then, I guess, I should thank you”, Juvia was still blushing mad.

“You shouldn’t sweat it, it’s okay”, Gray shrugged it off. “By the way where are we now?”

“A cave I guess”, Lyon said.

“It looks more like a shrine to me”, Juvia said, standing up.

“It can’t be…..”, Hibiki stuttered.

“What is it?”, Eve and Ren looked at him with confusion.

“This level of magic! There’s no mistaking it!”, Hibiki said.

“Now you’ve lost me”, Gray said.

“It’s here! The Water’s Tear!”, Hibiki exclaimed.

“What! Where!”, Lyon asked. His eyes already scanning the area.

“If my calculations are correct, it was in there!”, Hibiki pointed towards the pond. The others followed their gaze and there, at the middle, they saw something. There was a little orb with a necklace at the very center. The necklace has a charm that looks like the darkest shade of blue.

“It really is. Just as what Elric Anidrew and Lucy said!”, Gray said.

“The Water’s Tear”, Juvia gasped.           

“Eve, Ren, send a signal to everyone! Tell them we have found it”, Hibiki ordered them.

“Right”, Ren and Eve replied.
