“How long were your parents gone missing?”, Natsu asked.

“Papa left us for almost a year now…..Mama left us to look for him a month ago”, Maya said.

“How can Lisanna leave you behind like that?”, Natsu felt a little angry at Maya’s mother. To imagine such a thing for Lisanna to do is beyond his expectations. Maya looks such a good girl. He actually thought her mother took good care of her.

“She didn’t leave us all alone though. We have the guild to look for us. Naru and I supported her in going too. When we heard something happened to Papa, Naru wanted to go but Mama stopped him. She said it’s better if she’s the one to leave. She asked all the guild members to make sure we’re safe though”, Maya said.

“Hm? But still, I don’t think it’s enough reason for your mother to leave”, Natsu said.

“You’re right. I also think there’s more to it. I remember the Master asking her to come to his office when the news came about my Father, missing and can’t be located anywhere in Earthland. Mama looks worriedly at us before she decided to go. I saw her  three nights before she left, reading some papers and crying”, Maya admitted.

“Is that so? Why did she leave without anyone to help her?”, Natsu asked.

“She’s not alone. She said she has friends with her. She also said Papa will save her no matter where she is”, Maya said. “Natsu-san…..I like your smell”

“Hmmmm?”, Natsu looked up to the sky. “That again…”

“Naru, do you think we’ll be able to reach them?”, Yuki asked.

“Whoever that guy with my sister, I don’t like what I’m sensing on him”, Naru angrily said. “I don’t like this smell….”, he thought. “They’re near, let’s go!”

“Looks like things will get interesting. Master, too bad you didn’t witness this”, Gildarts smiled as he looked at the picture on his table. “Your children are really wonderful”

“Uh-oh”, Maya mumbled. Suddenly, they were stopped by a group of wizards on their way up the mountain.

“If you want to continue, give us everything you have”, a man; who looks like the leader said with a threatening glare.

“We don’t have anything besides our clothing”, Natsu said.

“HUH! That’s not good”, another one shook his head.

“Then…..give us the girl and we’ll let you pass”, the other said.

Natsu looked at Maya who was looking back at him.

“I won’t let you have this kid. She’s with me”, Natsu said.

“Then, you’re asking for a death sentence. Get them!”, the leader shouted out.

“Tch. Maya, stay back”, Natsu said. Maya nodded and hid behind his back. He ignited his hands with flames.

“Fire Magic?”, Maya gasped.

“Wah! Boss! He’s a wizard!”, one of them shouted out.

“It doesn’t matter. Get him!”, the leader angrily shouted.

Natsu launched an attack to them. They were so many, he’s been too occupied by their strength.

“Fire Dragon’s…….ROAR!”, he roared.

“Dragon Slaying Magic?”, Maya can’t believe her eyes.

“Who are you?”, the leader asked as he looks at Natsu.

“I am Natsu. Fairy Tail’s Natsu”, he grinned as he points to himself.

“Fires surrounding his entire body without getting burnt”, Maya gasped. Natsu tugged his scarf as he excitedly attacked them once again. “Scarf that looks like dragon scales”, Maya continued.

“Sword Edge of the Fire Dragon!”, he destroyed the road as he clashed with the wizards.

“Immense power like a demon destroying everything on his way. His enhanced senses that isn’t normal”, Maya stuttered. “He is…..Natsu….Natsu Dragneel. The Salamander Dragneel!”, she smiled.

They went all out in fighting. Maya is looking at him with amazement. She can feel Natsu’s overwhelming power. Even if Natsu’s powerful, the group of wizards aren’t to be taken too lightly too. Natsu had some troubles dealing with the group as they unleashed their magic together.. Although he has some great magic, it’s not enough to stop all of them. Some of them targeted Maya.

“Crap. MAYA, RUN!”, Natsu shouted but the attackers were too fast. Maya ducked and shielded her head.

“Lay a hand on her and I’ll kill you all!”, a threatening voice is heard.

“We won’t let you hurt this girl”, another said.

Maya looked at them with surprise. Natsu had his eyes wide from what he saw.

“Naru-niichan, Yuki-kun!”, Maya happily shouted out.

“Nii…chan?”, Natsu was surprised. “BROTHER?!”

“Who are these guys! Let’s go!”, the leader shouted as they retreated.

When they were left alone, there’s a momentary silence filling in.

“YOU IDIOT!!!”, Naru snapped as he scolded his sister. “Why did you run away from the guild alone! I told you to be a good girl and wait for me! You asked this idiot stripper to cover up for you?”, Naru pointed angrily at Yuki who is sweating guiltily. “Don’t think that I won’t figure it out! And you left Ryuu alone with Wendy-san!”, Naru literally smacked her head due to his worry and anger.

“I’m sorry. But, you’re not listening to me. I asked you so many times but you ignored me. We can’t keep Ryuu waiting for Mama forever”

“Umm…..”, Natsu interrupted. Everyone looked at him questioningly. Naru, looking at him, was surprised but then sighed.

“Oh we forgot about you completely”, Yuki said.

“You…..I don’t like what I’m smelling from you, you reek the same as I do!”, Naru sceptically looked at him.

“Smell?”, Natsu eyed him suspiciously too. He sniffed him and it’s true.

“You’re a Dragon Slayer, am I right?”, Naru asked threateningly. Natsu was surprised at what he said.

“Naru, don’t threaten him. He’s a friend and he’s a Fairy Tail wizard too. He protected me and took care of me when I had a fever yesterday”, Maya said.

“You had a fever again?”, Naru turned back at her. “Are you feeling well now?”, he turned into a brother/father figure towards his sister.

“Who are you?”, Yuki asked instead of Naru.

“I’m Natsu”, Natsu said. “You kids sure are interesting. You look like Romeo back at home”, he grinned.

“Romeo-san?”, Yuki gasped.

“Hey, you’re not from this place are you?”, Naru turned serious again.

“Yeah. We went on a mission but things were out of hand and I ended up here with my friend”, Natsu explained.

“You have someone else with you?”, Yuki asked. “What happened to the other one?”

“We were separated. I was trying to look for her then I saw Maya and she told me she’s looking for your parents so we decided to look for them altogether”, Natsu said.

“Her? A girl is with you? Wait a minute…Maya?”, Naru asked.

“Yes, your sister”, Natsu pointed to Maya. Naru looked at her questioningly. Maya just bit her lip.

“You’re not from this time right?”, Naru asked.

“Time? Wait don’t tell me I’ve been sent back on the past?”, Natsu freaked out.

“No, just the opposite”, Naru said.

“What?”,, Natsu looked at him for answers.

“If I’m right, you’re Natsu Dragneel, the so-called Salamander right?”, Naru asked.

“You’re kidding! Salamander!? The Salamander Dragneel?”, Yuki looked at Natsu with disbelief. “But…isn’t that….”

Maya’s eyes glinted with happiness as well.

“Well yeah”, Natsu said. “I don’t get where this is going”

“Guess what, you travelled nineteen years to the future”, Naru declared.

“WHAT!!! This is the future?!”, Natsu shouted out.

“This girl, Maya isn’t her name. She must have told you a different name to hide her identity”, Naru caressed Maya’s hair. “You knew all along didn’t you?”, he asked.

“That’s because, you said I shouldn’t trust strangers so easily. I didn’t think I will meet him with that appearance”, Maya replied. “But, he looks just like you”

“Wait, what are you talking about”, Natsu was really confused now.

“Maya isn’t her name, stupid”, Yuki said.

“What?”, Natsu looked at the guilty girl who made her way to him.

“Umm, Natsu-san. I’m sorry for deceiving you”, she held his hand apologetically. “Maya isn’t my real name”

“Wha…so what is it then?”, Natsu asked.

“I’m….Nashi. Nashi Dragneel”, the girl replied. “This is my older brother, Naru Dragneel”, she introduced. Naru just looked at him and pouted. “I really wanted to see you, Papa”, she looked up at him and hugged him tightly. “I’m your…..daughter on this point of time”

Natsu’s eyes widened at what he just heard. “Daughter? Then that means, that boy…is my SON?”, he can feel the surroundings circling up on him.

“No….way!”, Natsu grunted.
