“Not yet but we have all the wizards needed”, a woman said.

“Good. What about the girl we just had?”, he replied.

“Still unconscious; she’s down the cellar”, the woman bowed.

“Alright”, the man grinned. “I haven’t thought she would actually fall for it”

Back in Fairy Tail…

“That can’t be”, Levy still can’t get over to what they heard.

“So it’s true. Salamander and Bunny-girl had an accident on the mission”, Gajeel glumly said.

“That explains why everyone’s looking so gloomy”, Lily replied.

“I can’t believe Lu-chan will never come back”, Levy cried as she gripped the book she had from Lucy. “Won’t I see her anymore?”

“Hey, we still don’t know for certain”, Gajeel said. “I’m sure Salamander is going to find a way out of this and I’m also sure he’s going to take Bunny-girl home with him”

“Gajeel…..”, Levy looked up to him. She nodded at the hope he said.

“Lisanna….”, Mirajane comforted her sister.

“Do you think they’ll be able to come back?”, she asked.

“Don’t worry. Natsu’s the kind of guy who would do everything right? Lucy is smart. I’m sure the both of them will find a way. They’re together after all”

“I just can’t imagine Fairy Tail without them”, Lisanna cried.

“Me too”, Mirajane hugged her.

“So, why did you come again?”, Naru asked while running.

“I told you because I’m worried about your sister too. It’s partly my fault for not stopping her”, Yuki said.

“Correction, you’re entirely the one at fault for not stopping her. I swear if anything happened to my sister I’ll hold you responsible”

“Yeah, yeah…I get it”, Yuki was sweating. “I sure hope she’s alright. I can’t imagine what this guy will do to me….especially her father”

“Wait…”, Naru suddenly stopped.

“Why did you stop, Naru?”, Yuki asked. Naru sniffed some more from the air.

“We have to go through the forest”, Naru said.

“Why?”, Yuki asked.

“It’s dangerous to go further. There are too many wizards near here. It will be troublesome if we go that way. Besides, I’m pretty sure she went rhrough those woods”, he said.

“Alright…”, Yuki followed behind.

“Master…”, Eru entered the office.

“Come in. What is it Eru?”, a man said from inside the room.

“There’s something I have to tell you….”, Eru said.

“Is your mission over?”, the man said.

“Yes….about that…..here’s the report”, Eru stated her mission and how it has been accomplished.

“Good. Looks like everything went well. As expected from you”, the man praised.

“I am humbled by your words Master”, Eru bowed at him.

“There’s something more, isn’t it? There’s more you want to tell me”, the man asked.

“Ah yes. Master….it’s about Naru and Yuki”, Eru said.

“How did you know there are many wizards camping there?”, Maya asked Natsu.

“Because, I smelled them”, Natsu said.

“You can smell them?”, Maya asked with confusion.

“Yeah…..they smell trouble and the air is pretty tense”, Natsu said.

“Then what about the monsters in the forest?”, Maya asked.

“They’re too easy to deal with. I didn’t even have to use my magic”, Natsu bragged.

“Oh…..you’re weird”, Maya laughed.

“Now wait a minute here. You’re the one who’s weirder!”, Natsu argued.

“Oh, are you picking a fight with a seven year old?”, Maya teased.

“Why you little….”, Natsu tried to hold his temper. “She’s a child. Calm down Natsu”, he chanted. “Wait seven? You’re seven already?”, he asked in surprise.

“Ooohhh….very mature”, Maya teased again.

“I don’t have a habit of fighting with kids”, Natsu pouted.

“Heh? Really?”, Maya was really enjoying it.

“Teasing is over kid. We have to go”, Natsu patted her head and walked away.

“Mister…..I like your smell”, Maya blurted out. Natsu snapped his head at her with a slight blush.

“Wha-?”

“You smell nice for a guy”, Maya smiled.

“That’s it. Come here!”, Natsu ran to capture the blonde girl.

“Nanananana!”, Maya stuck her tongue out at him. She played tag with him where Natsu is ‘it’. “You can’t catch me!”

“Come here you little…”, Natsu’s eyes widened when Maya was heading towards a cliff. “Look out!”

“You won’t deceive with something like…..”, Maya stopped when her foot slipped and noticed that her body is falling.

“You idiot!”, Natsu worriedly grabbed her body as they both fall down. Natsu covered her protectively as the impact happened. Good thing the cliff wasn’t that high but Natsu has some scratch marks from the fall.

“I’m so….sorry”, Maya cried as she gently touched the scratches.

“It’s alright. I have it all the time. How about you? Are you alright?”, Natsu asked her while examining her body for possible wounds.

“No. I’m perfectly fine. Thanks for protecting me”

“Be a good girl and listen to me alright? I’m responsible for you so don’t do something so reckless”, Natsu patted her head. The girl nodded at him.

“Thank you, Mister”, she said.

“Hey now, don’t call me Mister. Call me Natsu, Natsu-nii or Uncle if you want”, he grinned.

“Natsu….san….”, she said.

“She looks a lot like Wendy and a little bit of Lisanna from the way she acts”, Natsu thought. “But she definitely looks more like…”

“You know, I have a similar feeling about my partner from you. You are almost the same. Maybe if she turns into a pipsqueak, she’ll be just like you”, Natsu smiled at her.

“Partner?”, she asked.

“Yeah. We’re a team. You have teams too right? We go to missions together and we have a cat companion too”, Natsu said.

“Really?”, Maya was excited all of a sudden.

“Yeah. She’s just as reckless and always weird. She’s really moody and hard to deal with. But I like her anyway”, Natsu slightly blushed at what he said.

“Heh?”, Maya smiled at him. “So, for this mission, I’ll be your temporary partner then”, Maya announced.

“Hm? Sure!”, Natsu clapped his hands with her.

“You’re really fun to be with, kid”, Natsu grinned.

“Likewise”, Maya grinned back.

“What the heck is wrong with this forest?”, Yuki paled.

“Don’t be such a wimp”, Naru was currently fighting off a monster.

“But….these monsters are really troublesome. Don’t tell me she actually went through here”, Yuki stripped off his clothes already.

“Whatever happened, I’m sure she’s been here”, Naru replied. “And I don’t like what I’m feeling”

“Umm…Naru a little help?”, Yuki said. Two monsters appeared on his side and he’s still dealing with one of it.

“RRRGGHHH…..MAKE WAY!!!”, Naru exploded.

“Hm?”, Maya stopped to look behind her.

“Maya what is it?”, Natsu asked.

“I think I heard someone”, Maya said.

“Hm? Must be the thunder. The skies look like it’s going to rain”, Natsu said.

“Maybe….Probably”, Maya said. They walked forward leaving the thought as that.
