"Hey kid, I believe you now. That mark can only be present on Fairy Tail Members. So mind telling me what you're doing on a place like this?", Natsu asked as they sit on a grassy meadow.

"I told you already. I'm on a mission", the girl said.

"Can you just take me to Fairy Tail?", Natsu was annoyed with how this conversation is going to. He's been trying to ask her to help him go to Fairy Tail but this girl is just ignoring him.

"Nuh-uh! I can't go back until I finished my mission", the girl pouted. "Naru will definitely tie me down once he saw me and I won't be able to finish my mission if that happens"

"You've been saying this Naru. Who's that?", Natsu asked.

"Naru? He's eight years older than me and he's really strong!"

"So why didn't he accompany you on your mission?"

"It's a secret!", the girl stood up."Hey Mister, can you help me?", the girl asked with a warm smile.

"About what?", Natsu stood up as well.

"On my mission! I promise I'll take you to Fairy Tail once we accomplished it", she said. "Oh, but I can't pay you a reward yet.....hmmm.....I know! I'll let you see my Mama! Or, you can fight with Naru! Naru's really strong. Looks like you'll have a great time fighting with him, how's that?", the little girl enthusiastically swayed as she demonstrates what she's saying. Somehow, Natsu feels at ease and happy being with her.

"You're funny kid. Alright, I'll help you out. I need some clues of where I am and how will I be able to come back anyway", Natsu said. "By the way, you still haven't introduced yourself to me"

"Eh? Hmm...", the girl looks like she's thinking something very hard. "I'm...Maya", she replied.

"Hm? Maya huh?", Natsu looked at her from head to toe. "Okay then....where are we going?", Natsu asked.

"We're going in there!", Maya pointed on the north.

Back on Fairy Tail....

"What? Lucy and Natsu were sucked inside the pocket watch!", Mirajane exclaimed.

"And the Council said they can't do anything for them?", Lisanna shouted out.

"Yeah. The Council said that they don't know anything about this apart from who created it. They don't even know how to deal with what happened", Gray said.

"So what will happen to Natsu and Lucy?", Juvia asked.

"We don't know yet. They might be on the past. What's worse, they could be stuck inside the time continuum with nowhere to go. We're hoping that wherever they are, they're together. It would be bad if they're separated by time", Erza replied.

From the second floor, Makarov was looking at the pocket watch in his hand. The hands were moving but other than that, it's not reacting. The Council let him have it for the meantime until the guild find something to help them.

"Grandpa, are you alright?", Laxus asked worriedly.

"Yes. I'm just worried for them. I should have expected the danger that may happen to them. I can't understand how it happened", Master Makarov gripped the watch tightly.

"Have you told them that the Council had forsaken the hopes of them returning?", Laxus asked.

"No, not yet", Makarov replied.

"Why not? They should know already"

"Because....I have not let it go. I believe there's still hope for them", Master Makarov looked at Laxus intently on the eyes. "A parent will never lose hope on his children. Neither will I"

Laxus understood what he meant so he just sighed and smiled at him. He put his hand over his shoulder to make him feel that he's not alone.

"So...can you tell me your powers?", Natsu asked Maya.

Maya looked at him suspiciously.

"What? I'm just asking you about your powers. Come on, we're both Fairy Tail wizards. I'm your friend. We're comrades. Can't you tell by my mark? I'm not deceiving you. I'm here to help you out right?", Natsu explained.

"It's not like that", Maya shook her little head. "You see....I don't have magic"

"WHAT!!!!", Natsu stopped walking and looked at her with disbelief. "You don't have any magic at all? How can you call yourself a wizard if you don't have any magic in you? That mark is real right?"

"Shut up!", Maya stepped hard on his foot that made Natsu groaned in pain. "I'm a wizard! Master said I have potential. I don't know if I have any magic"

"Hmmm? Yeah right. A girl like you should be at home with her mother! That Nago might be worried about you as of this moment. I'm sure you just ran away. Don't you know how much trouble it will be if your Master know about this! You don't even have magic. What will you do if anything happens to you? Your parents should be scolded for letting you go alone. What kind of mother do you have? Is she irresponsible or what? Maybe she's....", Natsu felt pain from his back. Maya, kicked him on the back.

"SHUT UP! I won't let you say bad things about my Mama! I won't let you bad-mouth my parents or Naru! You don't know anything! It's true! I ran away without permission from the Master. So what if I don't have magic!", Maya was crying already. "Mama's a great wizard. She loves me with all her heart. She reads stories when I go to bed. She scolds me when I do something wrong. She said I should pay respects to elders be kind to everyone. She's the best mother I can ever have! It's true....Papa....I haven't seen him again.....he left us one year ago. Naru's the only one who knows him best....but still...Papa, I know he loves me....I know he loves Mama and Naru and everyone from the guild....that's why he took the mission.....It's true..It's true....Naru's my best buddy. He will always protect me. Whenever I cry, he would make my tears stop. Naru....he even showed me how to use magic...he plays with me....he loves me too....it's true....it's all true.....I'm a wizard....I'm really a wizard...WAHHHH!", Maya cried harder now. Natsu panicked so he hugged the girl.

"Shhhhh.....Don't cry. I'm sorry. I believe you now. I'm sorry I said so many bad things to you and your family. I'm just having a hard time in here. I don't know how I ended up here and I'm really sorry. Stop crying now alright?", Natsu's soothing voice must have passed through. Maya stopped crying in an instant. When she stopped, they walked again as if nothing happened.

"Naru's the only one who showed it when he's as young as I am and he said I will definitely show mine in time but I can't seem to show it. I don't even feel anything in my body. Mama says I'm a wizard too and I will show great power that can even rival Naru's because Papa taught me well when I'm still little. I can't remember it now. Although, Papa left for a mission and he hasn't come back ever since. Mama was so worried so she wants to go after him. Naru promised her he would protect me so she followed him but I don't want Mama to go so I'm following her", Maya shared as they walk together.

"So the mission you said is retrieving your mother?", Natsu looked like he was beaten up by Erza and Laxus than just being kicked by a kid. Maya's words hit him so hard that he can't even find the right words to it.

"No, I must find Papa too. Naru said that Papa protects us. He won't leave us behind and that Papa is alive somewhere. I believe in Papa. Naru said Papa is strong, he's the strongest one in Fairy Tail. He wields the best magic and he loves Mama very much. Mama is always crying at night because Papa hasn't returned yet so even if I stop Mama, I still have to find Papa. I will find Papa!", she said.

"I want to find Igneel! I will find Igneel!", he remembered the way he said those things before when he entered Fairy Tail.

"You look determined in this. I like the way your eyes looked", Natsu patted her head. "Alright kiddo, until our mission is over, you're my responsibility. I want to know your parents as well. They look like they're strong. Don't worry kid; we'll definitely bring them back"

"Yes!", Maya happily grabbed Natsu's hand. "Hey Mister, can you carry me on your shoulders? I really want to do it. Naru's not tall enough but I love being carried on the shoulders", Maya insisted.

"I guess she's still just a kid", Natsu took her and lifted her. He settled her on his shoulders and let her grabbed some locks of his hair. "Don't fall off now"

"Thank you!", she squealed in delight.

"Ah Naru!", a boy with navy blue hair greeted.

"Yuki? Where is she?", Naru asked.

"Huh? She?", Yuki repeated. "You mean Eru-chan?"

"No you idiot, my sister", Naru said.

"Ah! Hmmm? Now where did I saw her?", Yuki averted his gaze.

"Stop messing around with me, where is she?!", he asked angrily now. He gripped the shoulder of the now topless kid. "I can't smell her all over the place, where is she?!"

"Wait, calm down. You're too easy to lose your temper!", Yuki said.

"Then tell me where she is already!", Naru was practically angry now.

"Sheesh, alright. You see, your sister left the guild looking for you", Yuki said.

"Looking for me? She wouldn't look for me, she knew I'm out on a mission and I told her not to leave the guild unless I return", Naru said.

"Don't ask me, she just ran here asking for you then left a few minutes after asking me", Yuki said.

"I don't believe you. You're definitely hiding something so spit it out you idiot stripper!", Naru threatened.

"Yuki, it's better if you tell it to him already", Eru said, appearing behind him.

"Eru? What are you talking about?", Naru asked.

"ERU! DON'T TELL HIM ANYTHING!", Yuki shouted. Naru turned his head angrily at him and banged his head on him.

"If you don't want to die this instant, tell me where my sister is!", Naru was seriously threatening him.

"She went out saying she'll look for your Mother and Father", Yuki rubbed his painful head. "I tried to stop her because you'll be angry for sure but she wouldn't listen....HEY!", he noticed Naru was already by the door running at his full speed.

"You knew my sister doesn't have magic! Why did you let her go alone!", Naru angrily scolded.

"I'm sorry alright? That girl is just like you. You think I could stop her from doing what she wants? Good grief, you siblings are really a pain", Yuki sighed.

"I'm going", Naru was about to completely go out to the doors when Yuki grabbed him.

"I'll come with you....I'm worried for her too", Yuki told him. Naru grinned as he smacks his shoulder.

"Eru, tell the Master we've gone away for a personal mission. We won't return until we bring my sister back. Also, tell Wendy-san to look after Ryuu for a while", Naru said before running off.

"Take care", Eru smiled at the two.
