"What.....", Toki struggled while floating inside.

"You won't get away with this!", Natsu was holding him with all his might.

"Idiot, you'll be taken to a new time warp if you stay here", Toki said.

"I'm done with this entire time thing. I will make you pay for all of this!", Natsu angrily said.

"You asked for it", Toki activated a portal. They both vanished.

X793 - Present

"Master, the runes are ready", Levy said.

"We can start any time now", Freed seconded.

"Can you try casting a spell on this pocket watch to create a portal?", Master Makarov asked.

"We'll try", Levy said. Erza took the pocket watch at the center of the Runes.

Freed looked at Levy for a signal. Levy nodded at him.

"I cast a spell on these runes. Give whatever's inside the power to create a portal that transcend through time", Freed wielded his sword.

The runes activated a a bright light came from the Runes. Lightning surrounded it and the pocket watch started shake. The hands on its face started moving faster. The light stopped as well as the pocket watch's actions.

"Did it work?", Gray asked after a moment of silence.

"No", Freed looked at the ground solemnly.

"Freed, let's try the next spell, maybe that will work", Levy said.

"We have to rewrite the Runes", Freed said.

"So be it!", Levy kneeled and started writing at the ground again.

X813 - Future

"Get off me, Dragneel!", Toki angrily fought with him.

"I won't let you get away from me", Natsu glared at him.

The portal opened and their surroundings changed. They're in a battlefield.

"What....", Natsu gasped. He saw fire and ruins everywhere.

"Tch. We came back in X11. The war is still raging here", Toki reopened the portal. Natsu still has a firm grip on him and he won't let go.

"Stop this!", Natsu angrily said. They stopped yet again in another time interval.

"X791", Toki grinned. Two years more and it would have been Natsu's present time. This year was the same when he first met Lucy.

"I said stop this!", Natsu punched him.

"Why?", Toki reopened a portal. Their time travelling journey kept going.

"Ahhhhh! Nooo!! The hour hand....", The second hand of time cried out.

Lucy looked at her with wonder. "Hour hand?", she thought and looked at the smaller hand that was currently on the number seven. Then she remembered...

The book in the basement of Fairy Tail. Toki Hiruka. A miracle about having both hands overlapping together. The number 7.

"It's worth a try", Lucy thought.

"Second hand of time!", Lucy looked at her with determination. "You said that an exchange is needed in order for you to grant a wish right?", Lucy asked.

"What...", the second hand of time looked at her.

"That means...Toki....that man must have given you an exchange for you to grant him the liberty of transcending through time", Lucy said. "In order to create a miracle..."

"No!!!", she cried out. "TOKI!!!! I told you! I told you! You're misstep is going to do a toll on both of us! Now it's happening!"

"Misstep?", Lucy was confused a little bit but didn't let her guard down.

"NO!!!", the second hand of time tried to squirm more wildly.

"Your time stops here!", Lucy pulled her whip with all her might and the second hand of time was taken to the hour hand. Her eyes widened when she overlapped with the hour hand. The clock glowed brightly in front of her.

"Natsu!", Lucy shouted out. "I won't give up on our future either, you hear me?!"

"Natsu.....", he heard Lucy's voice.

Before Toki reopened a new portal, Natsu released Toki from his hold. When Toki was about to get away from him, he kicked him with flames surrounding them both.

"Your journey will end here, Toki. I assure you that", Natsu angrily looked at him.

Toki tried to open another portal but it didn't appear. Nothing happened. He remained stuck inside the time space with Natsu.

"What is happening? What's the meaning of this? SECOND HAND!", Toki angrily shouted out. "WE MADE A DEAL DARN YOU!"

Toki hid whatever he's holding inside his clothes and tried to get away from Natsu's angered state.

"Fire Dragon's.....Claw!", Natsu made sure he wouldn't miss his first attack.

"Guooooh!", Toki groaned.

"That's for me!", Natsu said and readied another attack. "Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flame!"

"Ahhh!", Toki screamed out of pain.

"That's for Lucy", he made a stance. "And this....is for our future that you risked!", he punched Toki as if there's no tomorrow.

That's when he saw something glowing in his pocket. Even if Toki's all beaten up. He still had the energy to look and search for something he hid inside his clothes.

"My time.....my treasure...", Toki took it and have a look at it. "It can't be...the second hand of time", he gripped it tightly. "THAT WOMAN!!!"

"That's.....", Natsu recognized the item right away.

"No...NO!!!", Toki cried out when strands crept to his body coming from the object in his hands.

"What's happening to you?", Natsu witnessed what is happening. Toki is being sucked inside the object in his hand. A bright light appeared behind him, forming a large clock face.

"The equal exchange...I don't want to disappear!", Toki cried out.

"Equal exchange?", Natsu uttered.

"We will be together. Your remains will stay with me forever", Natsu heard a woman's voice within the clock face. He saw a woman, dressed in a beige cloth, her arms wrapped in front of her. Behind her is a small clock hand. She opened her eyes and more strands crept over Toki. "I told you this is a mistake. Your misstep doubled, Toki"

"NO!!!!!", Toki's cry of agony faded as he turned to dust and being sucked inside the clock face. His remains circled around for a while before it vanished.

The clock face faded slowly. Natsu saw something floating in front of him and took it.

"This started it all", he gripped it tightly. "It's over"

He looked back and saw that the portal he used to enter the time space was still open.

"Looks like it's over, Third Master", Gildarts smiled as he placed the frame back to the table.

"Grandpa, you promised you'll take me to the park!", a boy ran over to him.

"Did you tell your mother we're going there?", Gildarts asked.

"No but..."

"You know you're mother will be very worried if you just vanished without her knowledge right? I don't want your Mama yelling at me", Gildarts patted the boys head.

"Yeah, I will tell her then", the boy ran towards the door but stopped before leaving. "But you know, Grandpa, Mama will never be angry at you. After all, she had always looked up to you. That's the reason why she joined this guild in the first place right?", the boy stuck his tongue out and left.

Gildarts just smiled and scratched his head.

"You sure have your mother's attitude", Gildarts said.

"Master....", Levy noticed something after their last experiment.

"What is it?", Master Makarov made his way to her.

"The pocket watch....stopped", Levy pointed out.

Everyone's eyes widened. They looked at it and saw that both hands stopped at seven.
