"What happened?", Natsu worriedly asked.

"She has yet another fever", Erza said as she wipes Nashi's sweating forehead.

"She's been having fever too frequently. There must be something worng", Naru said worriedly.

"Rghhh...AHHH!", Nashi screamed with pain.

"Nashi?!", Natsu hovered to get a better look at her.

"What's happening?", Eru asked worriedly.

"Could it be?", Yuki literally shoved Naru off. "Uncle, look the tips of her hair", he pointed out.

The blonde girl's hair has pink highlight on it's tips. It is flaming upwards as she continues to struggle her screams.

"What's happening to her?", Asuka asked.

"I've seen it before. Ryuu had blonde hair before it turned pink when he used his magic. "Dad, make Nashi use her magic", Naru infirmend.

"What? But we don't even know her powers yet", Natsu said.

"True. Her magic is mystery to us. Before Master Makarov passed away, he once said that Nashi is special like her mother", Erza said.

"Anyway, we have to cool her down first", Yuki formed ice on his right hand, draped it in cloth and rested it on Nashi's forehead.

"For once, you're pretty reliable Yuki", Naru smacked his shoulder.

Nashi is panting as her hair becomes half blonde on the upper part and half pink on the under. A couple of minutes more, Nashi seems to calm down. Her hair returns to normal.

"Looks like it's over", Erza said. Everyone sighed with relief as they watch Nashi's normal breathing.

Something glowed on her skirt once everything is over.

"What is that?", Eru pointed to the glowing thing on her skirt.

Natsu took the liberty of taking it. He retrieved a number of golden keys.

"That is....", Asuka gasped.

"Lucy's.....keys", Natsu finished.

"How did they end up in there? I'm sure Mom took it with her", Naru exclaimed.

"Mama....", Nashi groaned when she opened her eyes.

"I will gain the infinite power to travel in time. It's good that your past self fell to my trap", Toki laughed menacingly as she holds future Lucy's body.

"So the reason..why you're infiltrating the ripples of time....is to gain these? You wanted to complete your immortality in using time aren't you? You want to make sure that I will show you the power to open the gates of time for you to use it upon yourself...You had this planned from the start....a thousand years ago?", future Lucy panted.

"You really are smart. That's right. I planned this. I knew you would see through my plan. That's why you let Natsu Dragneel look for me but too bad. He's just merely playing hide and seek with someone he will never see. Lucy Dragneel, the fact that you were married to him and had a family made everything complicated in the future. That stopped you from using your powers sooner. I had to return for a thousand years back to plant everything I need. Then, nineteen years ago, your past self took the bait. Now, I shall take your keys to complete my ritual", he rummaged through Lucy's clothing to find what he was looking for. He found seven silver keys but what he's looking for are golden ones. He looked again but he can't seem to find it, not even one. "What....WHERE IS IT?!", he angrily gripped her by the collar of her cloak.

"You won't have....your way....", Lucy smirked weakly at him. "Fairy Tail....will stop you.....for sure", Toki shoved Lucy's body to the wall. Lucy coughed from the impact.

"You and your husband is really tempting my patience", Toki angrily said.

"Why do you have Mom's keys?", Naru asked.

"I know.....where Mama is", Nashi looks like she was about to cry.

"What? Where is she?", Erza asked.

"Mama...gave me those keys. She told me....I should protect it from Toki...", she cried.

"Toki? You mean that traveller of time?", Erza gasped.

"Didn't Uncle.....", Eru looked over at Natsu.

"What is it about Toki?", Natsu asked.

"Toki, he's a wizard who uses time arc like Ultear. Although he uses some instruments to help him. He's a manipulator of time and he's even more dangerous than Ultear herself. The last time, he went to the past and left a pocket watch. That must be, what you and Lucy accidentally used to come here. Lucy found out about it two years ago but his location is unknown. The Council said he's too dangerous because he could make a ripple and change the flow of history by using that magic. They said he's running low because using it affects his time as a human as well", Erza explained.

"What? So that pocket watch was made by him?", Natsu asked.

"Yes...that's also the reason....why Dad, your future self, left for almost a year ago", Naru clasped his fist.

"What?", Natsu's eyes widened with realization. It all makes sense now.

"When the Council learned that it was Toki who's been messing with the time interval, they asked Fairy Tail to handle it a year ago", Erza said.

"Just like on our time", Natsu thought.

"Lucy said she could probably help in handling him but you stopped her. You said it's better if she stays in Fairy Tail with Naru and the rest to ensure her safety. Ryuu was still two years old by then. You took Happy with you. You've been missing ever since", Erza said.

"It...can't be...", Natsu said.

"Papa...please help us...will you help me save Mama?", Nashi cried as she looks at him. The way she cries is definitely Lucy. She has the same face and the same expression Lucy has when crying.

Natsu smiled and hugged her tight.

"That's right. I won't leave you", he assured. Somehow, he felt like his responsibility with these kids is too strong that he's determined to use his life to protect them. That must be what he heard from Lucy's writings before called "Paternal Love"

"Eru....you and Asuka go back and search for the others. Take who you can ask to follow us. I'm sure Toki won't be alone in all this", Erza instructed.

"Yes", Eru replied with Asuka.

"Take care", Erza hugged her.

"You too, Mom", Eru repaid the hug.

"Let's go!", Erza and the others headed out.

"Tch....Hah.....Hah...", future Natsu panted as he stopped on a nearby tree.

"Natsu!", Happy floated beside him.

"We're almost there....Happy...", future Natsu ran again.

"I'll make it faster", Happy took him and flew with his Max Speed.

Toki's hideout.....

"I know where you hid them", Toki grinned. Future Lucy looked at him with wide eyes.

"You....don't you dare", Future Lucy threatened with a glare.

"Belias", he called out. The said man was beside him in an instant.

"Yes Master?", Belias asked.

"Capture the girl named Nashi Dragneel in Fairy Tail and bring her here. Her Mama must be looking for her", Toki looked at Lucy with interest.

"Toki.....", Future Lucy launched herself at him.

Toki stopped her and held her neck with such force. Lucy choked out as she looked at him angrily.

"You really are a beauty. Even with three kids you still look stunning. Too bad you have to suffer this. I show no mercy to my prey", he smirked.

"Master", a woman came and kneeled. "I've acquired the details with regards to the Dragneel Family", the woman reported. Future Lucy's eyes widened.

"As you predicted. The first born, Naru Dragneel is a Fire Dragon Slayer just like his father and a prodigy with his intellect just like his mother. The same with the youngest, Ryuu Dragneel. The youngest holds a powerful Fire Magic that is beyond to every child in Fairy Tail his age, he also amplifies the magic of a wizard he touches, but.....the most intriguing one is the second daughter, Nashi Dragneel. She shows no sign of magic but lately, her fever is frequent. I just acquired this documents from their guild', Leri announced as she handed the documents.

"You infiltrated Fairy Tail?", Future Lucy can't believe what she heard.

"No one even noticed hahaha", Toki laughed as he read the papers. "I have a spy working for me"

"I see....your daughter holds a great amount of power doesn't she? Intriguing. So that's why you've been trying so hard to protect her from me. Very well, once I have your daughter, I will have no use for you anyway. Why don't we skip your reunion? Surely they will be in time for your funeral", he grinned.

"You monster....", future Lucy choked out. "I will never let you...hurt my daughter or anyone from my children", she was able to summon some magic using her will. That's what Capricorn trained her for years, for her to be able to make an attack even without using her keys.

"You're really asking for it", Toki angrily spit the blood from his lips. "Lucy Dragneel, you will die", he announced.
