"What are you saying now?", Chi was taken aback. "Trying to scare me? You're hopeless! Just beg for your life, stupid woman!", Chi angrily said. She summoned more creatures with her magic. "Attack!"

Yukino readied herself just in case. Sarina moved and spun her spear around her.

"Tch", Sarina swirled and killed every creature that come her way. She made it look so easy when in fact, Yukino had a very hard time just killing one.

"What.....why you!!!", Chi lifted more books and made creatures pop out of it non-stop. Sarina was surrounded. Her opponents launched themselves to her and she was buried with them.

"Sarina-sama!", Yukino shouted out. She was about to take action when the creatures in the center were flown away to different parts of the room, vanishing on the process. She saw Sarina swirling around while changing her weapons from time to time. She looks like dancing more than fighting. She stopped for a moment and crouched down once again.

"DIE!!! I'LL KILL YOU! I WILL TORTURE YOU UNTIL YOU BEG FOR YOUR LIFE TO BE SPARED! I'LL MAKE YOU BEG THAT YOU HAVEN'T BEEN BORN!", Chi's anger get the best of her. Her magic overwhelmed her sanity.

"I already begged for my life once, twenty years ago", Sarina stood slowly. "I regretted being born before. But....", Sarina saw Arthur's smile in her mind. "As long as I bear the name of the Jureners, I can keep on living with a smile on my face!", she unleashed all the weapons she can summon around her. "Let's finish this, I still need to return to Arthur's side"

Flashback

"Mama, why can't I tell others that I am a wizard?", Sarina, 5 years old.

"Because dear, special kids like you are worth not being shown to people. Besides, you know how the villagers are. They don't understand someone like you. They're afraid of you", her mother said with a sad smile.

She knew there's something wrong with her. She can also feel her mother doesn't look at her in the eyes. Every time when she shows signs of using her magic, her mother will get angry and discipline her in a torturous way.

"Why can't I show anyone I can do magic? It's a waste", she was playing with a dagger near a lake. It was the last thing she had from her father. Every time she thinks of other things from their home, she can summon it to her hands, be it knives, spoons or other metallic things. At first it was just the knives, but days went by and she was able to summon other things in her hands.

Two days later, their town was attacked by wizards. Her village was destroyed and burned to the ground.

"Mama! Mama!", she was running around looking for her mother.

"Sarina!", she heard her mother's voice.

"Mama!", she saw her mother at the far end of the road.

"Sarina! Don't come in here! Get out of here! RUN!", she saw her mother frantically shouting at her with other people running. They were being chased by numerous people in different suits. At the same time, she saw a wizard behind her.

"Ahhhh! Don't come near me!", her magic exploded like a bomb. When she opened her eyes, she saw knives on the wizard's body as he fell to the ground. When she looked back at her mother, the wizards are all lying on the ground with different objects struck to their bodies as well.

"Sarina!", her mother ran to her."What did you do?! I told you not to show it to anyone!"

"But he was about to kill me. Those people too", Sarina cried. "They're going to kill you too, Mama".

"I don't care! You should have just run when I told you to!", her mother is angry at her.

"Demon!", some people who saw what happened shouted out while pointing at her.

"She's the reason our village is on fire! A cursed child!", they all said.

"Kill her!", they grabbed different weapons and attacked them.

"Kill her!", the villagers ran to her.

"No please! Don't kill us!", Sarina shouted out.

"Sarina, don't use your magic. Don't kill them", her mother said.

"But...they'll kill us", Sarina cried.

"Just close your eyes", her mother's eyes were looking at her with fear. Her own mother, is fearing her.

"Mama?", Sarina looked at her with disbelief.

"Come here!", one of the villagers grabbed her by the hand.

"Mama? Mama!", she was being taken away and her mother is just frozen stiff while crying.

"You miserable child!", the villagers tortured her.

"Don't kill me, please!", Sarina begged.

"You witch! Die!"

"Please! I didn't do anything. Please stop!", she kept saying with every hit they make.

"Not until you're dead!"

"Mama!", she tried reaching her hands. Her mother was there, just looking at her with fear. No sadness in her eyes. She was being tortured in front of her but she showed no sign of sadness nor did she make any action of stopping them. She saw her mother said something then turned and walked away. Sarina's eyes widened with fear. "Ma...ma?"

"Why? Why? Mama?", Sarina cried not with the pain of the torture or the painful words the villagers said. What hurt the most was what her own mother has done to her.

"Die!", they didn't stop from hurting her.

"Mama.......why?", Sarina cried as she closed her eyes. Anger is filling her whole system.

"Just die", she remembered her mother's lips moved those words.

"No", Sarina mumbled, her body is getting numb. "No....No...Nooo! NOOOO!!!", Sarina lost it, her magic was out of control.

Sarina stood with blood on her whole body. She walked away from her burnt down village with the smell of blood and flesh burning in the air.

For three years she struggled to survive. Three years she's become entertainment for the nobles. She didn't care how she'll live. She even thought of killing herself but every time she tried, she doesn't succeed so she just thought to continue living. She's been through many battles, war and even became a guard for different officials until she turned fifteen. She mastered her abilities as a wizard fully.

Ten years later....

She was sitting on a fountain from a town in Magnolia. She doesn't have anywhere to go. The rain is pouring at that time and she can't think of anything else but to stay.

"Hey", she heard a voice behind her. "What are you doing there?", she saw a child running to her. "Why are you just sitting there under this rain? You'll catch a cold!", he scolded her.

"Hey little kid. The same goes for you doesn't it?", she said.

"Well if I hadn't seen you sitting here like an idiot I won't be soaked!", he pouted. "It's your fault!"

"What?! How is it my fault?!", Sarina snapped.

"Anyway, you have to take responsibility. If I catch a cold you'll have to take care of me!", he pointed.

"WHAT?! Who do you think you are, huh?!", Sarina scolded.

"You look like you don't have anywhere to go. I'm feeling bored since I don't have anyone at home to talk to. Why don't you come with me?", he blurted out.

"What?! You don't even know me!", Sarina angrily said.

"That doesn't matter. We'll talk in the carriage. You can tell me everything about you on the way home", he grabbed her by the hand and led her to the carriage. "And, you'll be my Nanny"

"WHAT?! Wait a minute I haven't agreed to it yet! Hey!", she struggled at his hold. "WAIT A MINUTE YOU ANNOYING BRAT!", she snapped and hit him in the head.

"Awwww", he cried, holding a bump on his head.

"You don't just drag someone you don't know and expect them to go willingly with you. Also, I never agreed to be your Nanny", Sarina crossed her arms. "Why do you want me to come with you anyway?"

"I told you I need someone to talk to", he stood angrily. "Also, you'll have to take care of me when I get sick! It's your responsibility!"

"You self-conceited brat. I won't go!", Sarina said.

"Alright, let's make a bet! You come with me and stay at our house for one day. If I don't get sick until tomorrow, you can go, but if I did, you'll stay and be my Nanny for the rest of your life got it?!", the boy challenged. Sarina was taken aback but looking at the boy, she can't say no to him.

"Interesting. Alright, since I don't have anywhere to go today, I'll go along with that bet. You look like a strong kid. I doubt you'll ever get sick within a day", Sarina chuckled.

"Deal!", the boy shouted with enthusiasm and dragged her hand once more.

"You're a gutsy kid I tell you that. What if I rob your house once I leave tomorrow?", Sarina teased when they're in the carriage. She told him everything just as she promised.

"Then you can take everything if you want", he replied. "I don't care how miserable your past was. It already happened. If I were you I'm going to treasure these present circumstances and look forward to the future. I want a friend who won't keep secrets and you'll be my Nanny anyway so it's fine if you think everything in our house is yours", the boy looked at her seriously. "Hey, tell me your name"

"Sa-Sarina", Sarina can't explain it, but she just had the urge to tell him her real name.

"I'm Arthur", the boy smiled. "Nice to meet you, Sarina-san"

"Ar..thur"

"Grandpa needs someone to aid him too so I think you'll be perfect for him. You've been through a lot", the boy held her hands and he put his forehead on it as if he was showing her importance. "Sarina-san, you'll be an important family member from now on"

"I really don't get what you mean by that", Sarina felt like crying and she doesn't even know why. "But....thank you........really........thank you"

When they arrived, her eyes widened. It wasn't just a normal house, it looks just the same as where she goes before.

"Hey, you are.....don't tell me..."

"Sarina-san, welcome to the Jurener Mansion", Arthur smiled at him. "I'll show you your room, and let me tell you...", he went closer and grabbed her ears. "There's a lot of weapons in there you can practice for your magic"

Sarina's eyes widened with that. She never told Arthur she's a wizard, she just told him her horrible experiences.

"Come on, Sarina-san", Arthur pushed her from behind. Without any more hesitations, she smiled and just went with it.

The next day, she accepted the role of being Arthur's Nanny as well as becoming a Jurener Private Guard; all of it because Arthur managed to get sick that same night.

End of Flashback

"Sarina-sama", Yukino smiled widely at her.

Sarina put an unconscious Chi on a nearby shelf. The place was covered with tattered papers and her weapons are all over the place. She covered Chi a blanket and patted her head. Before leaving, she placed the book which wasn't destroyed since Chi protected it with all her might in her lap.

"I hope you'll find happiness soon", she whispered and stood. She saw an old looking dagger on the ground together with all the other weapons she summoned and picked it up. "Let's go, Yukino"

"Yes"
