“What happened?”, Ichiya was the first to ask. Everyone gathered to the location Hibiki told them to go.

“Looks like a signal was transmitted which is similar to ours”, Sting said.

“What do you mean a signal?”, Lyon asked.

“You see, our wrist straps have a transmitting device so that if we got separated or was taken hostage, we can activate it to send a signal on our teammates to tell them where we are”, Hibiki explained.

“Really? It had that ability?”, some said.

“So that’s why the Council made sure that we keep it with us at all times”, Bacchus said.

“Has anyone lost their wrist strap?”, Jura asked.

“No, this thing is really hanging around our wrist too hard”, Gray said.

“It might even be impossible to take it out”, Juvia agreed.

“It can, if the strength applied together with magic is too much, it will break”, Kagura explained.

“Natsu are you alright? You’ve been very quiet since those guys retreated”, Happy asked his partner.

 “I don’t feel well. My stomach’s been flipping and I’ve been feeling a little edgy. I don’t know why”, Natsu said.

“Did you eat something bad?”, Max asked.

“Maybe because you just wanted to fight those guys so much; I know because I feel it too. Wild!”, Bacchus laughed. 

“So…did you see where that signal is now?”, Rufus asked.

“The signal transmission stopped five minutes ago. It stopped transmitting since then”, Hibiki said.

“What could that mean?”, Wendy asked.

“It’s better if we find out”, Erza said.

“Wait, we can’t just go off because a signal similar to us just appeared. What if it’s a trap that those Galion Alliance plotted?”, Yukino asked.

“Hey geek, show me that transmission”, Laxus said.

“What do you…”

“I just want to see something”, Laxus said. Hibiki can’t argue with him due to fear. He showed his Archive Magic to him. Jura, Kagura, Ichiya and Erza joined in as well.

“This is…”, Kagura initiated.

“So that signal started fifteen minutes ago and stopped ten minutes after that”, Jura said.

“It really is similar to ours”, Ichiya tried activating it and showed the same signal on the screen. “I can smell a strange parfum”

“Where’s the last location that it transmitted the signal?”, Erza asked.

“It should be…..”, Hibiki busied himself. “Around here!”, he pointed out.

“It’s on the outskirts of Magnolia”, Kagura said.

“We have to go there”, Laxus said.

“I agree”, Erza said.

“What? Why?”, Lyon and the others were confused.

“They’re in there. You said it stopped right?”, Laxus confirmed.

“Yeah, I’m sure of it”, Hibiki reassured him.

“Let’s go before they move”, Laxus said.

“How can you be so sure that this isn’t a trap?”, Orga asked. Everyone looked at him for answers. Laxus was in a pinch, he can’t definitely say that he’s sure because Lucy’s the one who sent the signal. Not when Natsu’s in there looking at him as well. Erza was looking at him intently as if saying : “Don’t tell them anything”. She shook her head lightly as a signal.

“Please don’t tell Natsu about this”, he can still remember Lucy’s words and the look on her face when she asked them.

“Give me a break. Why should I be in this situation?”, Laxus thought. “Well what do you think that is? That signal is similar to ours so it can be someone who the Council sent after us right? If we don’t follow it to know for sure then what are we doing in here now?”, Laxus asked coolly to avoid his uneasiness.

“Well considering Laxus-dono’s suggestion, it is fair to try it”, Jura said in agreement to stop the suspicions.

“That’s right we should try to make an end to all this. The Council did asked us to stop them so even if this is a trap, as long as it leads us to them it’s alright”, Kagura agreed.

They went to where the transmission stopped. When they came they saw nothing. Not even the shadows of any Galion Alliance members.

“There’s no one here”, Ichiya said.

“I can’t smell them either”, Gajeel said. “Why can I smell Lucy’s scent in here?”, he lloked at Natsu who seems to have caught the scent as well. He saw Natsu looking back to Magnolia so he’s sure that it was Lucy’s scent after all.

“We’re too late”, Erza said. Internally, she was worried sick. “Then…what happened to Lucy?”

“Wait a minute....”, Natsu was about to say something.

“Wh-What…”, Charle suddenly gasped. Everyone turned and looked at her with interest.

“What is it Charle?”, Wendy asked.

“What is Romeo doing here?!”, Charle blurted out. Everyone was confused; Romeo wasn’t with them.

“Ch-Charle, Romeo is not..”, Happy stopped when something appeared from below them.

“Excuse us…”

“VIRGO!”, Natsu, Wendy, Erza and all others who recognized the Celestial Spirit gasped in surprise.

“Ahuh ahuh”, Romeo coughed as he was taken out from the hole.

“ROMEO!”, they shouted out.

“What are you doing here, Romeo?”, Max went to his side with Wendy.

“AH! Natsu-nii, everyone!”, Romeo was glad to see them all. Laxus was glad to see him safe and he’s also sure why Romeo appeared but he really can’t say anything. Erza fully knows what that means too. Lucy was taken as hostage for sure.

“Romeo, why are you with Lucy’s spirit and what are you doing here? Is she with you?”, Natsu asked.

“No…well….”, Romeo was hesitant  to tell them. He looked at Laxus and Erza guiltily.

“Laxus….”, Gray was the first one to notice that something was definitely wrong.

“W-what?”, he asked.

“There’s something you’re not telling us…are you?”, Gray looked at him seriously.

“W-what do you mean?”, Laxus avoided his gaze.

“H-hey!”, Hibiki interrupted them all. “The signal is transmitting again”, Hibiki said. Everyone’s attention was diverted to the screen with his Archive Magic. The red flashing dot was moving far from Magnolia and then it stopped.

“It stopped!”, Laxus and Erza said in unison.

“Oh no Lucy-nee!”, Romeo blurted out unconsciously. After saying it, Romeo covered his mouth guiltily. Laxus and Erza looked at him with shock. Hearing Lucy’s name, Natsu looked at Romeo intently then to Laxus.

“What….”, Natsu was just about to ask them when he smelled Reina and saw her running towards them with all her escorts.

“Natsu-sama!”, Reina shouted out. Everyone looked at her with surprise.

“Reina-dono?”, Jura apprehended.

“What are you doing here?”, Erza asked. “Aren’t you supposed to be back in your home in the South?”

“There’s something terrible happening”, Reina started while trying to catch her breath. “Lucy……..she was taken as a bait to Galion Alliance!”, she finished. Everyone’s eyes widened with realization.

“Bait?”, Sting asked.

“Just what is happening here?”, Kagura asked.

“What…Lucy?”, Natsu uttered. He doesn’t want to believe it. After all, she promised she would wait for their return in the guild. He looked at the screen again.

“No way…she’s in Fairy Tail right?! How can it happen?!”, Happy blurted out. “We’re going to give her a souvenir. She’s with Levy and the others”

“No”, Virgo interrupted.

Since everyone who knows the situation is reluctant to say the truth, she took the liberty to do so.

“Princess was taken by those people. Romeo-sama is with her before we came here. She made me leave with Romeo-sama. What Reina-sama said is the truth”, she explained.

“Virgo-san…you shouldn’t!”, Romeo said.

“I’m sorry but I did not promise to keep it a secret. If Princess is in danger, I can’t just keep my mouth shut. As her spirit it is still my duty to ensure her safety”, Virgo said.

“What…..”, Happy stuttered.

“It’s not true is it?”, Natsu realized why he’s not feeling so well before.

“No way. She’s not involved with the plan”, Wendy said.

“She was left in Fairy Tail. She’s not a representative”, Gray said.

“Laxus….”, Natsu looked at him again. “What is the meaning of this?”, he grabbed him by the collar and glared at him.

Laxus, seeing that there’s no other way but to tell them the truth, said everything they want to know.

“It’s true”, he announced and looked down at the ground. “I’m sorry, Natsu”
