“All of you, must become one in order to stop the abomination that will befall to all of us”, the head of the Council members finished.

“I guess we have no other choice but to do it”, Sting said.

“Agreed”, Natsu entangled his arms with Sting in a manly way of shaking hands.

“Do we have any clue about their whereabouts?”, Jura asked. The Masters all looked away.

“About that matter, you will travel north to Curoka Village. From there, you will split up into different teams. There will be a signal that will give you directions to where they might be. Each of you should keep a tracking lacrima with you so that you will know if anyone is in danger and if there’s an attack nearby, you will all see a red blinking light”, one Council member explained as a Rune Knight handed them a wrist strap with a little screen on it. “I wish you all the best of luck”

“This place”, Erza looked at her strap. She looked to the Master who just nodded. Erza nodded back at him and looked over to where Natsu is.

“Forgive me Natsu”

“So, will you be alright with that plan?”, Laxus asked.

“I’m ready”, Lucy stood in front of him as she readied everything she will need especially her keys. She strapped Natsu’s scarf in her neck and she felt warmth from it. She gripped it securely just like how Natsu does it.

“I’m all fired up”, she grinned.

“So, when do you think Natsu and the others will come back?”, Lisanna was seated on the counter.

“I don’t know. The mission is pretty dangerous and the wizards they’re going after are rumoured deadly too”, Kinana said.

“Ahhhh, I wonder if Gajeel’s gonna be alright”, Levy mumbled absent-mindedly.

“Hoh? Looks like someone’s worried”, Cana hugged her from behind.

“What are you saying? I’m worried about everyone”, Levy excused.

“But you mentioned only one name”, Cana teased.

“Hey where’s Lucy?”, Lisanna noticed Lucy is missing.

“Yeah, come to think about it, she disappeared right after Natsu and the others left”, Levy said.

“I saw her enter the Master’s office with Laxus”, Wakaba mentioned.

“What?!”, the girls blurted out in surprise.

“But Laxus is a representative right?”, Levy asked.

“And I swear I just saw him got out of the guild in a fast pace two minutes ago”

“This is pretty convenient. So all the blue dots here are us?”, Jenny asked.

“Yeah, but somehow it’s confusing. We don’t even know who’s who”, Cheria said.

“The Council told us that if we want to see who is which, we can zoom it to see the names”, Ichiya instructed.

“Well that’s a little confusing too”, Cherry said.

“Waahhh I don’t know how to use this”, Wendy groaned.

“Man, this is an absolute pain”, Natsu was suffering along with the other Dragon Slayers.

Hibiki sighed as he looked at everyone who are having problems with their device.

“Alright, how about this? I’ll upload the entire mechanics of the strap in your heads. If you want to see the names clearly then you should just tap the specific dot to see who it is”, Hibiki said as he type with his Archive Magic.

“Woah”, Rufus moaned. “It’s like memorization magic but has a different kind of effect”

“This solves the confusion. Now we can have less to worry about”, Jura said.

“Have I ever mentioned how great it is that you use Archive Magic for this mission?”, Erza complemented.

“You can say it again for further emphasis”, Hibiki smiled at her.

“Are you ready?”, Master Makarov appeared inside the office.

“Yes”, Lucy stood in front of him.

“Use this. You should wear it all the time”, Master Makarov handed her a wrist strap. Same as the ones handed over to Natsu and the rest. Lucy clasped it securely on her wrist. “That should help the others locate where they’ll take you”

“I just have to go to this place?”, Lucy asked.

“Yes. About that……”, Master Makarov opened the door. Romeo entered and went to Lucy’s side.

“Romeo?”, Lucy gasped.

“Hi Lucy-nee. I’ll come along”, Romeo said.

“I asked his help to accompany you so that they will take you as bait. We have to make it seem like you’re unaware of their plans. You’re being targeted so we have to conceal your knowledge about it. Once you see it was dangerous enough, activate that locator. Erza and the others will be given a signal of where you are. We have to get them by surprise”

“Romeo’s going to be safe. They don’t harm children for all we know. But just to be sure, when you think it’s dangerous, Romeo, hide yourself”, Master Makarov said.

“Yes”, Romeo nodded.

“Be safe”, Master Makarov reminded.

“Let’s go Romeo”, Lucy and Romeo walked outside.

“We reached the splitting point”, Jura said.

“There’s a lot of road in here”, Kagura said.

“Let’s split up according to the group we created at the Council”, Sting grinned.

“Let’s go”, Erza said.

The groups were split into seven with equal wizards each group, the Exceeds included; just like in the Grand Magic Games. However, the groups were split not according to guilds but according to the numbers of participating wizards. Collective wizards from different guilds were brought together into groups with different magic and personalities.

It went along like this:

The leaders were Erza, Jura, Sting, Kagura, Ichiya, Bacchus, and Laxus. Their members were collective wizards from different guilds. Under Erza has Max, Arania, Cherry, Ren, two of Sabertooth members, Rufus, Beth, and Yuka.

Sting has Rogue, Natsu, Gajeel, Hibiki, Yukino, Cheria, Lyon, and the Exceeds.

Jura has three members of his own team, three members from Blue Pegasus, and two from Mermaid Heel.

Kagura has Milliana, Risley, Gray, Juvia, Wendy, Charle and three from Quatro Cerberus.

Ichiya has Eve, two members from Sabertooth, Jenny, two members from Quatro Cerberus and another member from their guild.

Bacchus has four members of his own guild which mainly contains his teammates from the Grand Magic Games, two from Blue Pegasus and three from Mermaid Heel.

Laxus has Orga, another one from Sabertooth, two from Lamia Scale and two from Blue Pegasus.

“Is everyone ready?”, Erza asked. Everyone nodded in agreement.

“Let’s go beat some dark guild bastards”, Sting said with excitement.

“Lucy-nee, so that wrist strap of yours shows where everyone is but hide us from them?”, Romeo asked.

“Yeah but if I activated the red button, it will create a signal and it will show the others where I am”, Lucy explained.

“Isn’t this dangerous?”, Romeo asked.

“Yeah, that’s why Romeo…….when it becomes too dangerous, please leave me behind”, Lucy seriously looked at him.

“EH?”, Romeo stopped walking and looked at Lucy with disbelief.

“Promise me Romeo. If not, everyone will be in danger”, Lucy said.
