“What happened!”, the crowd made an upheaval when the Lacrima malfunctioned in front of them.

“It appears we’re having some problems with the Lacrima. The staffs are doing what they can to fix it”, the announcer said.

“What happened in there?”, Natsu asked as he saw what happened as he heard the murmurs and anger of the mob under him.

“Natsu!”, Happy floated back to him in a rush. “The Lacrima suddenly got some problems right after Lucy and Elizabeth fell from the cliff”

“Yeah I saw it”, Natsu angrily landed the Lacrima ball beside him.

Dark clouds were starting to gather not too far from where they all are. The sound of lightning was clear and Natsu could definitely hear something from it.

An hour later…..

“Come on what’s happening now! Fix it already!”, the people who are watching grew impatient and got more irritated by the minute. They had to ask the help of the Rune Knights to keep them back in order.

“I wonder what is happening to them now”, Master Maru was silent at the back.

“I am worried for them”, Makarov looked over to Erza and the others who took their desired places to sit and wait for any news. Natsu was still hanging in the open sky.

“Milord…..”, Reina bowed in front of him.

“You don’t have to bow, please. Raise your head, Reina. What is it?”, Master Maru looked at her.

“I’m worried for Eli…I mean Milady and Lucy, please let me check on them”, Reina said.

“I am too but we can’t just interfere”, Master Maru rested a hand on her shoulder. “I’m sure she’ll be fine with Lucy.

“Hey Tenma, where are we taking them?”, a man with a hoarse voice asked.

“These girls are a true value. Considering this woman…..”, the other held the unconscious Elizabeth on her chin. “She’s a diamond! We can loot large money on her!”

“This one’s a mage! She has keys!”, the other man took Lucy’s keys and showed it to Tenma – their team’s leader.

“A celestial spirit mage. Look at these good set of collective spirits! Hah! This girl is something to get a hold of ten rare keys of the zodiacs!”, he saw Lucy’s mark on her hand. “What is this?”, he took her right hand to looked at her insignia. “Fairy Tail? This girl is a member of Fairy Tail!”

“That guild that wiped Oracion Seis?”

“Oracion Seis were just a fluke! They shouldn’t have been too cocky. They sided themselves in the Ballam Alliance. Dark Guilds should be hidden on the darkness”

“We’re an Independent Dark guild. Hey some of us acts as merchants right? Our clients will definitely pay good money for these precious gems. Their face alone worth millions of jewels!”

“Hey, why don’t we do them first?”

“Hah! We have plenty of time for that later”

“But I really want to taste them”

“Tame yourselves. We still need them unharmed”

“Right. Beru, did you take care of our first impression on Magnolia?”

“Yes, now we just have to send them our letter”, the one whose name was Beru said. He was responsible for disabling and messing the Lacrima.

“Good. If Fairy Tail will be our playmates, play with them for a while. Let’s see how interesting they can be, shall we?”, with Lucy and Elizabeth’s unconscious state, a group of twenty eight people smirked evilly at them.

“Let Advent Ghoul be their nightmare”

“We have a problem!”, one of the messengers of Magnolia shouted out as he hurried towards the Mayor. He whispered something that made the Mayor’s eyes wide and he started to look threatened. The expression he wore was full fear as he looks to Master Maru and Master Makarov guiltily. He’s sweating so hard that he can’t seem to choke out words. He grabbed the microphone from the announcer as he look glumly at everyone.

“There’s.....a very....grave news….Elizabeth Callimar and Lucy Heartfilia….the participants on the challenge….vanished”, all of them gasped from what they heard.

Advent Ghoul temporary hideout…..

“Hahaha, who would have though we’ll be lucky to fish girls out in the open!”, Beru –member of the Advent Ghoul guild said.

“Beru, stop your babbling! That girl is a Callimar. One of the highest noble even heard”, Akuhei replied.

“Is she even a wizard? I can’t sense anything out from her”, a woman looked at Elizabeth with disgust.

“Akki-onna, are you jealous because they’re much more beautiful than you are?”, Beru said.

“Hmph, I can take away their beauty in just a snap. Why will I bother getting jealous over them?”, Akki-onna swayed her hair to her back.

“Shiki! Don’t even think about it!”, one of them scolded.

“Aww, just a little bite. I really want to taste their flesh. Look at their veins, you can see it through this tissues”, Shiki trailed from Lucy’s hand. “I want to taste this girl’s blood. She looks tasty”

“You can have her all you want once we finished our business with that wealthy girl”, Tenma glared and Shiki straightened.

“Do we need to contact the others?”, Hotaru of Despair walked towards him.

“Yes, we may need them. An all-out war may begin. All of them will be aware that such guild like ours existed without their knowledge. Call the Master!”, Tenma said. “Beru, make an announcement on Magnolia. I’m sure her Daddy misses her”

“What do you mean they vanished!”, Master Maru went over the Mayor with anger building up in his tone.

 Suddenly, a flash of lightning hit in front of Fairy Tail.

“Laxus!”, they all shouted out.

“Grandpa, we have a problem”, Laxus didn’t waste another minute.

“What is it?”, Everyone was leaning in to hear what he has to say.

“As I was following them, Lucy and Elizabeth were taken on those rocky plains. A guild is using it as their hideout. There are twenty eight of them but they’re calling out for more”, Laxus explained.

“WHAT! WHICH GUILD IS IT!”, Doranbolt rushed over. “Is it a dark guild?”

“No. I haven’t seen them before. I never heard of them as well. It appears they’re not listed on the Ballam Alliance either. The Council may not have information about them as well”, Laxus said.

“What could be their motive to….”

“Attention!”, a Lacrima suddenly showed up and caught everyone’s attention despite the problem at hand. “All of you who are seeing this broadcast must pay attention for we will only say this once. No one knows our existence. We call our guild the Advent Ghoul. We have the heir of the Callimars! Also one of her friend”, the speaker smirked which happens to be Tenma himself. He showed Elizabeth and Lucy who were unconscious.

“Lucy!”, Erza and the others said with worry.

“Elizabeth!”, Master Maru looked at her daughter with sympathy.

“If you want one of them back, choose, we demand all of the Callimars wealth in exchange, Fairy Tail must bow their heads on us or Magnolia will crumble in our hands!”

“Why you!”, Master Maru and some males and females in Fairy Tail gritted their teeth in anger. Happy was looking as worried as everyone else.

“Oops! Don’t try to ignore us because we’re not as merciful as the others. We’ll kill these two if we wills it”, Tenma snapped his finger and as if on cue, Shiki made a despicable scene. He took one of Lucy’s hands, licked it and made it look like he will bite it with his expression like a mad lion wanting to eat his prey. Hotaru on the other hand made some curse marks around Elizabeth’s face and Elizabeth, despite her unconsciousness, choked and struggled to breathe. “Now, we’ll give you three days to decide”, the Lacrima stopped and vanished yet again.

“Aweful!”, Levy stuttered.

“It’s really horrible! Lucy and Elizabeth…they’re in danger”, Lisanna worriedly hugged her sister and brother as comfort.

“We can’t just do what they ask!”, the Mayor shrieked

“Indeed. This will cause imbalance to the order”, Doranbolt said. “The council will never heed to it”

“So are you saying you will abandon my daughter and Lucy!”, Master Maru snapped already. He glared at all of them.

“That’s not what I’m saying. Of course those girls’ lives are important but we can’t just act out of impulse and charge towards them. They could be deceiving us”

“Does their announcement with the Lacrima looks like a joke to you? They’re serious when they said they’ll kill them!”

“If we go in there without thinking this through then we’ll all be dead!”. Doranbolt defended.

“In this problem, we can’t sacrifice all of Magnolia with two people”, the Mayor seconded.

“You’re the ones who caused all this!”, Master Maru was enraged, the escorts are battling their defences with the Rune Knights.

“But they’re the ones who went on their free will”, the Mayor replied.

“Don’t tell me you won’t do anything!”

They all stopped when they felt something treacherous and menacing behind. They saw Makarov already seething with anger and his powers are unleashed together with Fairy Tail members.

“We can’t just let them do as they please. To war!”, Makarov announced.

“Wait!”, Doranbolt stopped them before everything goes out of hand. They did as they were told and calmed down a bit. “We must think of a plan. We can’t just go over there and have a war against them. They will definitely kill them both before we do anything. Considering this fact, I don’t think sending out the entire guild in Magnolia to do this is helpful. Master Makarov please, let us plan this out”, Master Makarov calmed down a bit and he instructed the others to lower their defences.

“Fairy Tail and Master Maru are the only ones who are affected by this so I suggest they will be the ones who will be doing it. I suggest all the other guilds will return. No one shall act on their own!”, Doranbolt announced. The Mayor heeded it and ordered other guilds to remain as they are and return to their respective places.

“What! Lucy is in danger! We are allied together with Fairy Tail and with Magnolia being threatened we can’t just sit and wait as well!”, Master Bob as well as some from different guild like Lyon, Cherry, Hibiki, and other allies from previous missions with other guilds complained.

“I thank you for wanting to help one of us but this is something we can’t involve everybody with. This matter is too hard to handle and just a mistake will cost so much so please, just heed to what they wanted. I appreciate all your support though”, Master Makarov announced.
