Lucy opened her eyes in the darkness. She can feel the coldness of the ground where she lies. Through her blurry eyes, she can sense people not too far from her. When her eyes adjusted to the darkness, she saw Elizabeth lying still unconscious across her.

“Where…oh….that’s right. We fell from the cliff and….”, Lucy’s eyes widened when she remembered everything. The pain still lingers at her head where one of the people who ambushed them hit her with something hard. She felt someone getting near so she closed her eyes and feign sleeping.

“They’re still not awake. Looks like we did ‘em too hard”

“Good. If one of them wakes up, be sure to keep them silent”

“Hmmm? Do you think they will comply?”

“Oh they better, if they don’t we’ll kill those two in the most brutal way we can”

“Who are these people?”, Lucy thought.

“Arcana, did you contact the headquarters yet?”

“Yes, they’ll be here in a few hours”

“Great. It’s time Advent Ghoul have some fun”

“Advent Ghoul? Is it a guild? I never heard of it”, Lucy opened one of her eyes cautiously. When she did, her brown orbs met bloody ones. “KYAAAHHH!”, she shrieked with surprise.

“Oh you’re awake!”, his tongue was sticking out like he’s just restraining himself from launching to eat her.

“Wha! Get away from me!”, Lucy shouted in disgust. She’s trying to keep the man as far as her hands can push him.

“Shiki, stop messing around”, Shiki backed off a bit.

“Hey, you’re from Fairy Tail?”, one of them walked up to her.

“That’s right. What do you want from us? Release us at once!”, Lucy demanded.

“And if I don’t want to?”, the man smirked at her and held her chin. “You’re a cute one”

Lucy pushed him hard “Keep your hands off of me and Elizabeth!”

“You little wench! How dare you push him like that!”, one of the woman gripped her hair. Lucy moaned in pain.

They stopped when a rock was thrown over to the woman’s head. She angrily looked over to who did it. There they saw Elizabeth with shaky hands and teary eyes, glaring at them. “Sto-stop…it”, she trembled in fear.

“You threw….that rock….ON ME!”, the woman angrily launched to her. Lucy grabbed her foot that made her stumble and fall face first to the ground.

“Don’t you lay a hand on Elizabeth you freak!”, Lucy threatened.

“HAHAHAHA!”, some men from the group laughed at what happened.

“WHY YOU!!!”, she was about to slash Lucy’s face.

“Akki-onna, stop it right now. We don’t want them scathed before the deal”

“TENMA!”, Akki-onna looked at him with disbelief. “Didn’t you saw what she just did?”

“Stop. NOW!”, Tenma’s voice grew louder and Akki-onna shivered in fear.

“Elizabeth”, Lucy made her way to the shaking Elizabeth. Elizabeth calmed down as she hugged her. “What do you want from us!”

“We’ll use you to gain something so behave now alright?”, Tenma told them. Lucy tried to grab for her keys but they were missing.

“Looking for this?”, Tenma showed her a set of golden keys. “Here, have it”, Tenma threw her keys as Lucy safely clasped it in her hands. “Just try to fight with us and I can’t guarantee you will walk out here alive. You can choose whether to live three days behaving or asking for your death sentence earlier”

Lucy glared at him. Elizabeth held her hand as she looked at her like saying to stop trying. Lucy brought her hand down for she knows she will definitely not stand a chance. She can’t risk Elizabeth’s life in this as well.

“Good. Looks like you’re cooperating. Don’t worry, nothing will happen to both of you for three days but after that, you’ll die”

“We’re in Aclypha”, Reina said when they’re at the boarder.

“Let’s head to Love and Lucky first”, Natsu said as they both ran out from the carriage.

“Good afternoon, how may I help you?”, a woman greeted them.

“I’m looking for two girls who was here just hours ago. You know, the ones who are doing the challenge?”, Reina asked.

“Oh you mean Elizabeth and Jude-san’s daughter”

“That’s Lucy”, Natsu interjected.

“Yes, I believe they should have gone back by now but something must have happened to them. I sent someone to look for them though”

“They’ve gone missing! Someone ambushed them when they fell from the edge of the mountain as they’re heading back!”, Reina sounded worried now.

“Eh? Oh my, wait. Here’s the map of Aclypha”, the woman spread a large paper on the table. “You see, this is the mountain they’re assigned to their challenge. They should walk through this path and as another challenge, they must be careful on these steep edges with cliffs and rivers below. They must be somewhere over here”, she pointed out.

“It’s pretty far from here”, Reina said. “Can I have this please?”

“Oh yes please do. I’m worried for them. If you need some assistance, please tell me”

“No, we’re good. We have some company coming in a few more hours, if they came, please instruct them where we are”, Natsu said. The woman nodded. Reina and Natsu headed to where the woman guided them.

“Elizabeth, are you alright?”, Lucy asked. They’re staying at a cave without a doubt.

“Ye-Yeah”, Elizabeth replied. “Thanks”

“I’m sorry. I didn’t know something like this would happen”, Lucy said.

“It’s not your fault. I was too thick-headed. The truth is…I really….want to say sorry before. I was just too stubborn to accept everything. What would father say? Will I ever see him again? I haven’t even told Reina that I loved her. She must be worried about me by now”, Elizabeth cried.

“Elizabeth, do you suppose…know everything about….Reina?”, Lucy hesitantly asked.

“I know already. I saw my mother’s diary. I found out about it. That’s why I wanted to say sorry to you. You helped them hide it from me for my safety right? I’m really sorry Lucy. I was so angry at you for leaving me that I didn’t even consider your own feelings. I was afraid to go back to what we were before so I acted out of my selfishness. I even included so many innocent people. I’m so horrible”, Elizabeth cried non-stop. Their abductors were outside so they’re alone inside the cave.

“It’s okay. Shhh. Don’t worry Elizabeth”, Lucy hugged her to calm her down.

“What shall I do? If we die in here…”

“Stop, we’ll get out of here alive. I’ll protect you. Don’t worry Elizabeth. I’m sure Fairy Tail will help us out. Who knows? Natsu might already be on his way here. Reina as well.”

“EH? Natsu-sama? I know Reina would probably come here but Natsu-sama?”

“Oh he will, for sure. He’ll be here. He’s the most stubborn person I know. That guy, he always looks out for me. I’m sure he’ll be here. He doesn’t fail to surprise me”, Lucy said confidently.

“Natsu-sama, now I can understand the bond you share with Lucy. I can never win you against her”, Elizabeth bit her lip.

“Looks like this is where they fell”, Reina said as they stopped on a steep path. There are still traces of their footprints left behind.

“Yeah you got that right. I can still smell their faint smell. Lucy definitely is here”, Natsu said with a sniff. He crumpled some of the dirt with his hands. “They fell here”

“Then we should go down”, Reina said.

“It’s a little high”, Natsu warned her.

“Then we should use Air Magic”, Reina jumped and dragged Natsu along.

“What!”, Natsu and Reina stopped falling and instead, their bodies floated in the air. “This is cool!”

“I use Mimic Magic although it’s limited. I can only mimic the magic of few chosen people. I can’t imitate your Dragon Slaying Magic though. I can only perform the last person’s magic I fought with recently and an imitation of someone’s magic if they’re close”

“Hmmm? So you’re like Gemini then”

“Gemini?”

“One of Lucy’s spirits. Man, you should see her imitate herself, that’s epic! You can’t tell the difference between the two unless Gemini returned to normal”, Natsu laughed at the thought. “But I can tell the difference because I know Lucy’s scent!”

“We’re here”, Reina said. Their feet landed softly to the ground.

“Shhh, I can sense strong magical energy near here”, Natsu warned.

“Look, there’s a cave. You think they’re in there?”, Reina whispered softly.

“They better be. Let’s go!”, Natsu and Reina quickly went inside.

The cave was dark. As their steps are as softly as a cat, they managed to reach a door without making a sound.

“Is this their hideout?”, Reina asked.

“Looks like it, I can sense their magic already”, Natsu said.

“Let’s do this”, Reina seriously said. They both banged the door and readied themselves for a fight.

“Lucy! Elizabeth!”, they shouted out as they enter. Inside the door was nothing but darkness.

“What! Where are they! They should be here!”, Reina angrily said as they scan the area.

Natsu’s nose and ears perked as he sensed something bad.

“Oh crap!”, Natsu dragged Reina outside as soon as he can. The cave blew up. Natsu and Reina managed to come out alive.

“They tricked us. They’re clever enough to deceive us with this”

“Where are we going to find them now? Elizabeth and Lucy….they’re in danger. They know we tried to attack them against their orders. They’ll surely kill them now”, Reina was frightened for their mistakes.

“Lucy…”, Natsu thought worriedly.

“What happened? An explosion?”, Lucy and Elizabeth were alarmed with the rumblings of the ground.

“Looks like some were stupid enough to take our threats for granted. I’m sorry ladies. I’ll have to use you to teach them a lesson”, Tenma smiled evilly. Akki-onna looked excited to do some beating on them. Shiki was drooling already. Lucy and Elizabeth hugged each other as they look at them with fright.

“Natsu…..”
