“Natsu……”, Happy floated over to tell him what happened but Natsu is already missing. The metal cage was melted already. “Natsu?…”, Happy stared from above. Looks like Natsu left a long time ago during all the commotion below. “Natsu…..Lucy…”

“Reina?”, Master Maru looked over to find her but she was out of sight.

“Milord, I saw Reina ran away as soon as the Lacrima vanished”, one of her retainers said.

“Master! Natsu is missing!”, Happy announced.

“What? That boy, he already left huh?”, Master Makarov scratched his head.

“Impossible! He’s locked with the best iron metal cage and he’s high up in the skies! He can’t be....”, Master Maru stopped mid-way.

“Oh he can”, Gajeel interrupted.

“Yeah, he’s a freak product of nature. He destroys everything he touches. His power can’t be tamed when he’s so into it”, Gray said.

“He must have heard about Lucy. That impulsive guy”, Erza shook her head.

“Laxus, you told him about it didn’t you?”, Master Makarov looked at his grandson suspiciously.

“He heard me rushing over. I think he guessed what it is. His senses are great after all”, Laxus said.

“But….that metal cage….it’s impenetrable I’m sure. It’s made of iron after all. He can’t possibly melt it so easily”, Master Maru can’t believe what he’s hearing.

“Really? Gihee. That’s a waste. If you’re iron cage is not as hard as mine, then you shouldn’t be surprised. That guy will never let anything stop him. My iron slaying magic wasn’t enough to stop him from saving bunny girl before so I’m sure yours wouldn’t either”, Gajeel smirked. “I can still feel the weight of his flames and his fist when he’s so enraged in fighting over for her. I feel my body shivering with excitement and fear when I remember it”

“He’s going there probably. That idiot”, Macao said.

“Natsu-nii will definitely save Lucy-nee”, Romeo hyped up.

“Reina left as well. Could it be that both of them are thinking of saving Elizabeth and Lucy?”, Master Maru realized.

“Then, let’s assist them both now”, Master Makarov smiled.

“Hmmm, Lucy’s scent is fairly faint. The Lacrima showed them both in Aclypha, that means I have to board the train”, Natsu shivered when he thought of transportation. “I have to endure my motion sickness”

He saw Reina running towards the station as well. Her clothes were different from what she usually wear when she’s with Elizabeth.

“Hey!”, Natsu tapped Reina’s shoulder as he ran.

“Natsu-sama”, Reina looked at him with surprise. She knew he was hanging over the skies just a minute ago before she ran away when the Lacrima vanished. “What are you doing here? Weren’t you supposed to be hanging over the City Hall?”

“Yeah about that. I can’t sit still with all that happened. Lucy is in danger so I’m going in there. Elizabeth is with her so I’m guessing you’re going to save her too?”, Natsu asked.

“Yes. You too?”

“Of course”

“Did you ask permission to your guild master?”, Reina asked.

“Ack, no. I left Happy as well. If I did Master will just stop me for sure. What about you?”

“Well I left out on impulse. I can’t wait any longer”, Reina said.

“Well we both acted on our own so I’m sure they’ll punish us when we go back”

“What about your motion sickness?”, Reina asked.

“Well about that…..I’m going to think about it later. I have to catch a train first”

“Then, let’s go together. We’ll use the express carriage”, Reina dragged him and Natsu followed. They took the carriage and to his surprise, it went fast and wild like Erza was driving it. “Natsu-sama. Why did you come alone?”, Natsu didn’t feel nauseous because the carriage has the same effect as it did when he boarded it before on their last mission with Elizabeth.

“Well why did you come alone? Aren’t you always with her other wizard bodyguards or whatever?”

“I’m worried about Elizabeth. I want to save her as soon as I can. She’s important to me”

“What is she to you?”

“She’s….my master”

“I already know that. What is she to you? Her real importance to you”

“Don’t tell me….Lucy-sama told you?”

“She can’t. She wanted to but she said it’s a secret and that it wasn’t hers to tell. Even if she doesn’t tell me, I’m a dragon slayer; my senses are enhanced than normal people. I can smell the same scent she has with you. I thought her scent was just rubbing into you because you’re always with her but that isn’t it. Lucy seems to be hesitant to tell me but I can tell”, Natsu looked at her seriously. “I figured why Lucy’s always so stubborn to help Elizabeth despite her attitude towards her. I understand what she meant when she told me about your relationship with each other now”, Reina gripped some of her skirt. She knew Natsu’s into something. The truth they’ve been hiding for so long. “Reina……Elizabeth is…..your sister. Am I right?”

Reina looked up at him.

“As I thought. That’s why you’re always with her. How did you become her retainer? Does she know about it?”, Natsu asked.

“I don’t think so. You’re right. I am her sister. Lucy knew about it. She found out about it when she’s with us when we were kids. Mother insistently asked her to keep quiet about it. My mother, gave birth to me first. Lucy’s my friend ever since before Elizabeth was born. My magic is different from hers. I inherited my grandmother’s magic while Elizabeth inherited my mother’s”

“I thought Elizabeth’s not a wizard?”

“That’s what we made it seem. Lucy apprehended our reasons. Our mother was worried that if Elizabeth used the same magic as hers, she will die eventually. Her magic, eats the caster’s life as she uses it. It’s dangerous especially if she used it on a person. Lucy made it look like Elizabeth is just an ordinary human until Mother died. My mother and Lucy, swore an oath never to tell anyone about it. Mother embedded a Lacrima on Elizabeth to suppress her magic so that her magic is concealed. That’s the reason why no one in Magnolia or in Fairy Tail sensed she’s also a wizard. Lucy and I are the only ones who know about it. I told Father to tell Elizabeth I’m her retainer than her sister to avoid her getting envious when she found out I am a wizard. She might use her powers unintentionally. As she grows up, we made sure to not let her think that she’s a wizard. Father might be too harsh on her for making sure she grows into a fine noble, but he’s only doing it because he’s afraid that Elizabeth might end up just like our mother. That’s why Father let her have as many wizards as escorts as she pleases and let her get everything she asks. Lucy…when she ran away from home, Elizabeth nurtured hatred of her. It may be because she used to think Lucy as her own sister and she thinks that whatever Lucy has, she have to get it too. She grew fond of her and she wanted to be like Lucy herself”

“Well that’s an awful way of thinking. Being someone you aren’t is a dangerous thing. You’ve relied on Lucy too much. You spoiled Elizabeth too much as well. Wanting to be someone you’re not is a really creepy thing you know that?”

“Well I can’t argue with that. But Lucy made an impact on Elizabeth; One that will never be forgotten from her. Elizabeth used to be so gentle like Lucy. Mother thought that Elizabeth will definitely be alright as long as Lucy is with her. She wanted Elizabeth to be as kind as her and having Lucy right by Elizabeth’s side, I think, that will help Elizabeth to be a better person. I didn’t think Layla-sama will die as well. I never thought Lucy will run away from home and that Jude-sama will turn into someone so distant like that. I knew Lucy has gone to so much pain for what happened but I can’t do anything. She never returned to our estate anymore and that’s when Elizabeth never saw her again”

“Is that so? So that’s the reason why she hates Lucy so much?”

“Yes. I think Lucy knows more than I do. Lucy understands her more than I do”

“It’s not true. You’re always with her ever since. You know her more than Lucy does. If there’s someone who cares for her more than anyone else, it would be you. You are her sister. It’s time you stand up and tell it to her or you’ll regret it later”

“How can I ask her forgiveness after this? All this time, she grew up living with all these lies. I can’t think of how Elizabeth will take all this”

“You should have already told her about it when Lucy left. Lucy gave you the opportunity to build your own relationship with her but you wasted it. Don’t you think Lucy might want the both of you to bond like a sister and stop your pretenses? About all the lies you created all this time, it’s better for you to tell her yourself. She might want to hear it from you”

“How can you say that?”

“Lucy told me, Elizabeth might already know the truth and she might just pretend not to know it because all of you are trying to hide it from her”, Natsu said. “Although she didn’t tell me what that truth is until you told it to me now”

“But….Elizabeth…”

“If you truly care about her, you’ll stop lying to her. Don’t regret the day when you won’t be able to take it back. You can’t always run away. You have to face it yourself. Lucy faced her father head on and all her problems. If she was able to do it, so can you”

“You and Lucy really are close. I’m sure you’re worried about her”

“Well I am. Of course I’m worried about her. Lucy’s my friend and my partner. I will save her myself. I promised, I’ll protect her”, Natsu said.

“Is she that important to you?”

Natsu just grinned at her. “She’s precious to me”

Reina was speechless but then she smiled. “Natsu-sama, please help me save Elizabeth. I still have so much time to catch up with her as a sister”

“Yeah. Let’s help each other out”, Natsu fist bumped with her.

“Lucy…….”, Natsu looked out on the window. “I’m coming”

“Elizabeth….”, Reina thought as she looked out as well. “Wait for me”
