Okay guys, so here's the last chapter for this book. Wahhhh I don't know how I can thank you all enough....it has been a wild and great adventure to write NaLu pairing stories and I can't get enough of it.....Thank you for all the encouragements and the support you all gave me...I'll make sure to create another story and I promise that it will get better and better but please be patient okay??? My laptop is dead so I have to re-create new stories.....please support me on my next big project.....this final chapter is dedicated specially to BlueSapphireRose...sis, cheers to us!!!

“Have you finished everything you need to do?”, Reina asked.

“Yes”, Elizabeth smiled.

“Magnolia is really such a beautiful place”, Master Maru said.

“Indeed it is. It is filled with great things…..”, Elizabeth sadly smiled as she thinks of everything that happened. “It’s filled with wonderful people too”

“You’re right”, Reina said.

“Elizabeth….”, Lucy called out.

“Lucy! You came to see us off?”, Elizabeth ran towards her.

“Well……”, Lucy smiled.

“Thank you very much”, Elizabeth said.

“Anytime. I missed babysitting you”, Lucy laughed.

“Yeah. Do visit us some time okay?”

“Sure!”

“Lucy….I can’t thank you enough. I’m sure Reliza is happy. Your parents must be so proud of you”, Master Maru sweetly smiled at her.

“You’re right…..thanks”, Lucy said. “Reina, I wish you well”

“Thank you. You too. I hope your relationship gets better”, Reina said.

“Oh by the way, Elizabeth….”, Lucy leaned in to her. “Natsu wanted to tell you something”

“Eh?  Natsu-sama?”

“Yes, he’ll be here any time now…”

“HEY!!!!”, Natsu shouted out as he floated with Happy.

“You made it”, Lucy smiled.

“Here…”, Natsu handed Elizabeth a cloth. When she opened it, it was a banner with Fairy Tail’s insignia embroidered on the very center. Fairy Tail wrote some message in it. “It’s a present from all your friends in Fairy Tail”, he grinned.

Elizabeth cried as she held onto it. “THANK YOU”, she said between sobs. “I’ll treasure it”

They said their goodbyes. Elizabeth and her family entered the carriage and headed out Magnolia.

“I’ll miss them”, Elizabeth said.

“You can return here anytime you want”, Master Maru said.

“Really? Then, Reina will accompany me”, Elizabeth excitedly said.

“Of course”, Reina said.

“Lucy….let’s go on a job now”, Natsu said.

“Oh yeah, we haven’t been on a proper mission since Elizabeth’s appearance”, Lucy realized.

“Then let’s go!”, Natsu dragged her by her hand. Lucy smiled at him.

“Elizabeth, I know you confessed to Natsu on the night of the viewing. Would you mind telling me about it?”, Reina asked as soon as they returned home. They were inside Elizabeth’s room and spending the night together as sister bonding time.

“Well, I just told him my feelings but apparently he doesn’t feel the same way”, Elizabeth smiled.

“It’s good you’re not angry about it”, Reina said.

“I realized that I can’t always have anything I want. Lucy is right, some things can’t be bought by money or influence. I learned my lesson the hard way”, Elizabeth hugged a pillow.

“Well, that’s alright, I’m sure there’s someone out there who’s better than him. You deserve to be happy with the man who loves you”, Reina patted her head.

“But…..I can’t believe it hurts this bad…..I…really love him….”, Elizabeth cried. “I thought…if tried harder….I can achieve his feelings…..I thought….he will notice me….”

“You did a very good job Elizabeth. This is the first time you tried so hard to get something with your own strength and I’m so proud of you; but there are some things that no matter how hard we try, we can’t have it. Elizabeth, that’s why we should learn to cherish things that we have and be thankful for it”, Reina caressed her hair.

“Now I know how Lisanna must have felt when she can’t have Natsu’s attention anymore. Reina, do you think I can be like Lisanna?”, Elizabeth asked.

“Don’t worry, you can. Those feelings…even though it hurts….we must treasure it….the feeling when you love someone who can’t love you in return…..those feelings….will help you to be a better person…don’t worry, I’ll be here with you”, Reina hugged her tight. Elizabeth cried harder.

“Thank you Reina”, she mumbled.

They slept together for the night with their hands entangled with each other. Elizabeth woke up in the middle of the night. She stood up and faced the window and saw a shooting star. She looked at her hand holding a trinket or a book chain with fishes and fire charms. She remembered the first time she met him and fell for him.

Flashback…

BANG!

“AH!”, Elizabeth squealed.

“UGH!”, Natsu groaned.

They were being followed by a group of drunkards that they stumbled with accidentally.

“You threw a bottle at me”, Natsu grinned menacingly. That was the first time she saw Natsu’s handsome grin. It was also the first time they saw his magic, his unique magic using fire. His features struck her heart trhough.

“Oh, are you guys alright?”, Natsu offered a hand which she gladly took. His compassion awed her. She almost fainted when their hands touched each other.

“I hope my hand’s not sweaty”, she thought.

When Natsu and Happy realized that the bottle of soda they just bought was wasted because of the fight.

“Oh, I’m sorry for wasting your drink, I know! We’ll buy you another one!”, she almost stuttered. She really wants to spend more time with him. When they agreed, she almost leapt due to happiness.

She saw the trinket on the ground just as Natsu turned around.

They bought sodas for each one and an extra for the companion they are talking about.

“Thanks again!”, Natsu said before running away.

“Ah! Wait! Tell me your name!”, she shouted to him.

“I’m Natsu! This is Happy!”, Natsu shouted back with a smiling Happy waving at them. The truth is, she really want to return the trinket to him when she called them out but she asked their names first. When she had what she wanted, she should have told him about the trinket in her hands but she kept quiet about it. She held the trinket tighter.

“Milady that is not ladylike”, Reina reminded her. She behaved instantly with a blush on her cheeks.

“Natsu….”, she mumbled softly with a blush as she held onto the trinket.

“I’ll hold on to it. I’m sure if I hold on to this, I will be able to meet him again”, she thought with excitement.

End of Flashback….

Elizabeth smiled as she remembers it. She looked at the trinket on her hands.

“I wasn’t able to have his feelings diverted into me but for someone like me…he…..smiled for me”, she smiled as she remembers Natsu smiling and grinning at her. “I can’t have his feelings because he has Lucy so….at least……let me have this thing with me…..at least….let this be my remnant of you….a precious memory…..of my feelings for you….”, she looked up as she enjoys the sight of the stars above. Her eyes were concealed by her bangs.

“I want to be loved….”, a tear streamed down he cheeks while looking up. “Ahhh……love is such…..a trivial….painful thing”, she said.

She saw the banner Fairy Tail gave her hanging on the wall. She read some of the messages written in there.

From Lisanna: Don’t worry Elizabeth, you just fell in love with the wrong person but it’s going to be alright.

From Erza: Keep strong and don’t let your guard down.

From Master Makarov: My child, visit Fairy Tail anytime you like. My family will welcome you with open arms.

From Happy: Fight-o! Elizabeth. Let’s try fishing next time.

From Lucy: I’m sure you’ll find someone who deserves you and will make you happier than this idiot. Remember to smile even if you’re feeling down. Stop being such a brat alright? Come back anytime, take care, Elizabeth.

She laughed at the messages she read but then, her eyes widened with what she read a few minutes later.

From Natsu: You are a friend, remember that. You have something of mine. Keep that thing as a gift. I’m sure you’ll find someone who will make you happy too. I’m sorry about that night. Thank you.

She gripped the trinket in her hand as she cried again.

“So he knew about it?”, Elizabeth sobbed. “Thank you….Natsu-sama”, she mumbled as she wipes her tears. She never felt so warm and free. With that, she went back to bed and scooted closer to Reina with a smile crept on her face and drifted off to sleep.

That night, the two girls must be having a fun dream.
