“All of them except for that bratty looking girl are wizards?”, Lisanna gasped. Lucy kept silent as she hears all their murmurs.

“Well that’s a real deal. Why ask for a wizard to be her husband if she already has a number of them in her hands?”, Cana asked.

“She loves to collect”, Lucy said. All heads turned to her. “She was fond of taking anything that she wanted. No one can stop her from getting what she wants”, she said.

“You said she is your rival right? How did she result to hate you that much?”, Mirajane asked.

“Well, when we were kids, we used to see each other. Reina, her retainer, I’ve known her ever since. We always talk to each other before I met Elizabeth herself. But, when Mom died…”, Lucy bit her lip. “I grew very distant to anyone. You all knew how Michelle felt about me when I stopped playing with her. She has the same feelings, I bet, but for some reason, her anger is of a higher level than Michelle’s. She seems to envy me so much that she wants everything I have to fulfil her desires”, Lucy sadly explained.

“So why use Natsu as her plan?”, Gray asked.

“Yes. He doesn’t belong to Lucy, does he?”, Mirajane asked with a meaningful smile. “Or at least not yet”, her playful mind was screaming.

“Well he IS her partner and they’re always together”, Levy winked at Mirajane, she was completely enjoying this.

“That makes sense”, Erza innocently said.

In a far off corner of the guild, the boys were confronting a pink haired mage.

“Natsu, you were pretty quiet all this time. Has that girl screwed you down?”, Bixlow teased. Laxus was with the Master and Freed was away in a mission with Romeo.

“A lovely wealthy maiden like that doesn’t suit you at all”, Macao said, putting an arm on his shoulder.

“So, you’re a trump card for that rich girl that she thinks will be Lucy’s downfall huh?”, Wakaba went to his other side.

“I don’t get any of you. Why would I be Lucy’s weakness anyways?”, Natsu irritatingly shoved Macao’s hand off his shoulder.

“You don’t really get any of this do you? Man you two are so dense”, Warren sighed.

“As a man, you should already know that, here the entire guild probably thinks the same about you guys. Really, when will you two move already? You have to be a man!”, Elfman said.

“He got you nailed, Natsu”, Max grinned.

“Aye!”, Happy smiled.

“You see? Even Happy understands”, Nab said.

“Ahhh! Enough already!”, Natsu shooed them away. Right now, he can’t concentrate. He’s more worried for his partner than his circumstances. “Hey Lucy, Happy, let’s go on a mission for now. I don’t feel like staying in the guild like this”, Natsu approached his two partners with a demanding tone.

The said two followed him willingly.

“You think Natsu snapped?”, Laxus asked his grandfather.

“That boy might be an idiot sometimes but he isn’t completely unaffected and clueless about this. That child acts according to what his instincts tell him. You can say at important times like this, he’s going to snap any time soon”, Master jumped out of the counter where he sit and headed towards his office on the second floor. Looking back at Laxus, he said “He might need a little push. If someone from his so-called friends and family were to be harmed, I’m sure he’ll explode. Do keep an eye on him, Laxus”, with that, he entered his office. Laxus only smiled at him.

“Looks like I’ll get a little busy after all”, Laxus stood and gathered the few members who will do a special mission with him.

“So, mind if I ask what kind of mission we are doing today?”, Lucy asked. Natsu seems to be a little pissed at the moment.

“Natsu, what are you thinking? You look like you’re angry at us or something”, Happy said.

“Nothing. You came so late in the guild! Are you plotting something behind my back?”, Natsu accused.

“What!”, Lucy and Happy said in unison.

“Why would you have that idea? We went to a slumber party with the girls, that’s all”, Lucy explained. Natsu was pouting.

“Yeah I came with her”, Happy said.

“Happy isn’t a girl you know!”, Natsu pouted again.

“Is this really the time to talk about this?”, Lucy sighed.

“Here!”, Natsu handed her a paper bag. “I’ll let you two off this time but next time, tell me where you’re going!”

“What is this?”, Lucy asked, Happy was looking over at what she was holding.

“It’s your clothes for the job! I took the liberty to bring it along”, Natsu grinned sheepishly. Lucy opened it with Happy beside her. Inside was the familiar looking white and black clothing.

“Hey don’t tell me….”, Happy mumbled. Lucy took it out. It was her Maid Outfit that she wore during their mission on Duke Everlue.

“WHY DID YOU BRING THIS!”, Lucy shrieked. “And isn’t this the one from way back! Why do you have it?”, even if she already knows Natsu kept it on his house all this time.

“It doesn’t matter. It’s for the job Lucy!”, Natsu said. “Don’t worry, I took mine too”, Natsu said, showing his set of clothing.

“You match…pfft”, Happy held off his laughter. Natsu shoved Happy’s clothing too.

“If you didn’t remember I wore it when we did a mission with Yajima-san’s restaurant”, Natsu crossed his arms over his chest.

“WHAT THE HECK! WHAT KIND OF JOB IS IT ANYWAY?!”, Lucy asked, snatching Natsu’s bag to look for the request he took. When she found it….

It read: Two wizards are needed to disguise as maid and butler to protect two children of the Mayor in Curoka City. The mission is for 7 days.

Reward: 900,000 jewels

Note: I prefer a man and a woman who knows how to take care of children.

“7 Days!”, Happy exclaimed.

“And we have to take care of kids?”, Lucy was shivering at the idea.

“NAAAATTTSSSUUU!!!!!”, both of them glared at the said man.

“He-hey wait! Calm down you two”, Natsu backed off a bit, trying to calm the two down.

“Since when did I became good with kids huh!”, Lucy shrieked then Natsu ran for his dear life.

“Elizabeth”, Reina entered the room.

“What is it Reina? You never called me that name since I became 10. I prefer you calling me that than honouring me with formality.”, asked Elizabeth.

“I’ve acquired the details about Natsu-sama’s mission”, Reina handed her the files.

Elizabeth took it and read what it says. “I see. We’ll leave for Curoka Reina. Make the preparations, at once”, she ordered.

“As you please, Elizabeth”, Reina bowed and headed out.

“Let me make this clear. So you took this long job just because you don’t want to see Elizabeth?”, Lucy asked.

“Why don’t you want to see her?”, Happy asked.

“I don’t like her scent at all. Something’s wrong with her, it creeps me out”, he said, clearly showing what he means with his expressions.

“I don’t even know if I should be happy by that or not”, Lucy sweat-dropped.

“What?! Master, you mean that request that Natsu took was for 7 days?”, Mira almost dropped the plate.

“Yes! That boy’s even smarter now than we thought”, Master Makarov grinned at her.

“But why take such a long mission? I thought that’s what Natsu hates the most?”, Kinana asked.

“He’s aggravated by the fact that he will get married with that rich young lady”, Master Makarov said.

“I don’t quite understand”, Max said.

“He means that Natsu isn’t completely impenetrable as we thought when it comes to tying up the knot”, Laxus said.

“Yep, he sure is not”, Lisanna smiled, reminiscing her young days with him. “But…”, her smile turned into a gritting of her teeth once she remembers Elizabeth as well. “I won’t let him be married to her. The only other woman who is acceptable to marry him other than myself whom I approve of is Lucy or someone from the guild maybe”, Lisanna giggled. “Rich girls like her probably suit someone of nobles like her”

“If you haven’t forgotten, Lucy WAS once a noble”, Bixlow said.

“Yeah, but she’s gentle and she’s one of us now isn’t she? Also, she’s not wealthy anymore. She’s just like us and she’s been that from the start”, Erza defended.

“Yes! Even though Juvia thinks of her as her love rival, she did helped Juvia many times”, Juvia said.

“Now you’re talking”, Gray agreed.

“How did I have such children? I’m just happy all of you feels the same”, Master Makarov smiled.

“We’re here my lady”, Reina announced. “We’ve arrived safely in the country of Curoka”

“Good, is there any sign of them yet?”, Elizabeth asked.

“No, they’re still on the train”, Reina replied. “We’ve created an obstacle along the way, they would arrive by tomorrow”

“Good. Then let’s take a trip to the Mayor’s office shall we?”, she said. Reina and her escorts bowed and followed suit.
