Yipee! I'm going to update haha good for me!! “You’re late!”, Lucy was pouting at them.

“Sorry, we just have a slight distraction on the way”, Natsu said guiltily.

“Here’s some soda Lucy”, Happy tried to compensate. Lucy drank it thankfully until there’s no one left.

“You made me wait here for two hours!”, Lucy scolded after her drink.

“We’re sorry”, Natsu and Happy bowed their heads.

“We have to go, the train leaves in fifteen minutes”, Lucy said. The two smiled with relief at her.

“What happened to your feet?”, Natsu noticed the bandages on her feet.

“It’s swollen. Remember the sprain I got from our last mission? It returned when we did that stretching from before”, Lucy said. “Good thing there’s a nearby clinic, I had it wrapped up but it’s still sore”

Natsu lowered down with his back facing Lucy.

“Get on”, Natsu said, his hands at his lower hips.

“Eh?!”, Lucy looked puzzled but she knew he was offering her a piggy back. “No way!”, Lucy rejected childishly.

“What?! I am offering you a piggy back ride. It will be bad if it got any worse than that! You’re legs are swelling up, don’t be childish!”, Natsu scolded.

“Yeah right, you’ll just tease me for being heavy again”, Lucy folded her arms on her chest.

“Stupid Lucy, you’re not heavy! If you don’t want to be carried like this I’m going to carry you again like a sack of potatoes. Choose one!”, Natsu threatened. Lucy was fuming and blushing. She considered her limited length of skirt, even if Natsu covered that part with his scarf and lengthy arm cover when he dragged her earlier, she can’t experience the same thing again. Either way will be embarrassing for her. “Though I would prefer this one better”, he finished, gesturing her to take his first offer.

”Lucy, don’t tell me you want to be carried like a princess instead?”, Happy teased. Lucy stiffened at his declaration.

“I’ll take the piggy back ride!”, Lucy raised her hand instantly. Natsu lowered again and waited for her. “Seriously Natsu, I am heavy you know”, Lucy warned.

“You’re not heavy…”, Natsu said. Lucy smiled at this and settled herself behind his back. “But you did gain weight”, he finished when he stood.

“WHAT!!! That’s it! Put me down”, Lucy angrily protested. Natsu gripped her legs tighter.

“Hey! Stop squirming or you’ll fall. I’m just kidding”, Natsu said.

“Geez, saying I gained weight, it’s the same as saying I’m heavy”, Lucy pouted.

“Don’t sweat it. This is a good way for training and exercise”, Natsu grinned while he supported her weight and started walking. “Sorry about that. It was our fault you sprained your leg anyway”

“No, it’s my fault. I was not paying attention, that’s why I fell on that stupid cliff”, Lucy said. “And that’s because Happy said something embarrassing”

“It’s good that Happy was able to catch you just in time”, Natsu was laughing at the thought.

“You screamed my name like I was going to die”, Lucy blushed at the memory.

“Well you did fall from a very high place, how do you expect I’m supposed to react?”, Natsu was serious all of a sudden.

“But, thank you so much. You too Happy!”, Lucy looked at Happy who was smiling all the way. “Thanks for looking out for me”

“You are our friend and our partner; it’s natural to look out for each other. You’ll do the same for us right?”, Natsu looked back at her.

“Of course!”, Lucy tightened her grip at him. With his broad back, she can’t feel any less secured. “Leave it to me”

“You lllliiiikkkeee each other”, Happy rolled his tongue to tease the two. He was anticipating their reaction shouting ‘stop rolling your tongue like that!/no we’re not’ but it didn’t came. Instead, he saw Natsu grinning all the way and Lucy ducking her head lower behind him. With the sight they were making, Happy can’t help but smile at them.

It was a hot sunny day in Fairy Tail….

“Lu-chan!”, Levy skipped her way towards the blonde.

“Levy-chan!”, Lucy’s face brightened up seeing her happy face with her book securely on her hands.

“I’ve read it! It was awesome!”, Levy cheered while holding out the literature.

“Really? Thank goodness. Natsu said it’s boring”, Lucy remembered how much she was offended by that.

“Don’t mind him; we both know he doesn’t like to read. I’m quite surprised he was actually trying to read yours though”, Levy giggled. “Oh by the way, are you doing something this afternoon?”

“Huh? I don’t think so, why?”, Lucy asked.

“I want to buy something, will you accompany me? I really need your opinion on this Lu-chan”, Levy made a face that is hard to resist.

“Alright. I’ll come with you then”, Lucy replied.

“Yay! I’ll just drop by Fairy Hills to change clothes”, Levy said.

“Why?”, Lucy asked.

“I haven’t changed since yesterday Lu-chan. I just got back from a job with Gajeel”, Levy informed.

“Oh hoh hoh! So you and Gajeel were already close huh?”, Lucy teased.

“Anyway!...”, Levy blushed. “I’ll return once I changed so wait for me okay?”, Levy ran away to avoid being confronted. Lucy was smiling at her fading form.

“How about this Lu-chan?”, Levy showed her a blue dress.

“That’s really cute Levy-chan! It suits you perfectly!”, Lucy replied.

“Hmm…I guess, how about the yellow one? The orange one looks good too. It matches my bandana”, Levy pointed to the other colored dress.

“You’re right! It looks cute too”, Lucy complimented.

“Hmm, maybe I’ll stick to this one then”, Levy took the new dress she was holding to the cashier and paid the amount displayed on the screen.

“Nee, Levy-chan?”, Lucy started when they got out the store. They were heading home to their guild. “Why did you end up buying that black one?”

“Well, I started to really love this colour. Hey Lu-chan? Your favourite colour is blue right?”, Levy asked her.

“Eh?”, Lucy eyed her with surprise then smiled. “Ah well…..I do….but there’s another colour I am fond of”, she smiled sweetly at her.

“EH?!”, Levy was shocked because she never heard Lucy has another colour preference. It was never stated in Weekly Sorcerer and she never mentioned it before. “What colour is that?”

“It’s a secret!”, Lucy winked at her.

“Geez, come on Lu-chan, we’re best friends aren’t we?”, Levy insisted.

“Hmm? Heh! Alright! I’ll show it to you then”, Lucy raised her right hand and showed her pink colored Fairy Tail’s mark at the back of her palms.

“Don’t tell me it’s pink?”, Levy put a hand on her mouth. That colour never crossed her mind as Lucy’s choice. “Why pink though?”

“That….”, Lucy smiled at her while reminiscing the first time she grew fond of the colour of pink.

Flashback….

Natsu appeared on Bora’s ship by crashing down the roof. Lucy never felt so relieved than seeing him. Natsu looked so cool from what he did but it was short-lived when he showed his weakness – transportation.

“How lame”, Lucy and Bora both said as Natsu tried to settle down his stomach.

He literally destroyed half of Hargeon port when he fought against them. It was the first time Lucy saw Dragon Slaying magic and someone who can actually eat fire, breathes fire and fight with fire magic. Before, she didn’t believe that Natsu was really raised by a dragon, not until she joined Fairy Tail.

“You want to join our guild right? Then come with me!”, Natsu’s grinning face flashed at the memory.

When she actually did entered Fairy Tail, Mirajane approached her and asked her about her guild mark.

“Where do you want to put it?”, Mirajane asked, holding out the stamp of Fairy Tail insignia.

“Here please”, Lucy rested her right hand on the counter.

“Do you have a colour that you want?”, Mirajane asked.

“Hmm?”, Lucy glanced at Natsu who looks really bored at the time. His spiky hair was really standing out. “Pink please”, she said, looking back at Mirajane.

Mirajane smiled and pushed the stamp down at the back of her right hand. “There you go”

“Wahhh!”, Lucy happily looked at the mark of the guild she was dreaming of joining. Without wasting any more time, she raised it towards Natsu. “Hey Natsu look! I have the mark of Fairy Tail now!”, she shouted out, showing off her mark excitedly.

“Oh that’s great Luigi”, Natsu bluntly said without turning around. Although she got irritated because he didn’t even turn around to look at it and said her name wrong, she shrugged it off because she was happy just by looking at it.

End of Flashback….

“Now I won’t forget Fairy Tail and Natsu altogether”, she smiled at the memory.

“Lucy? Is something wrong?”, Levy asked. Lucy snapped from her reverie then looked at her.

“Ah! No, it’s nothing”, Lucy shook her head with a smile. “Well….let’s say that colour reminds me of someone and one of my best memories in Fairy Tail okay?”, Lucy blushed and winked at her before skipping like a child.

“Lu-chan….you’re too obvious…..there’s only one person who has that trademark colour in Fairy Tail….”, Levy blushed at her sudden discovery. “So that’s why your mark is pink?”

“Levy-chan! Hurry!”, Lucy waved her hand at her.

“Yes! Wait for me!”, Levy ran after her. “Oh well, I guess I’ll just support you”
