Hi everyone!!!! I'm really sorry for not being able to update yesterday...there's been a huge blackout and all the computer shops and cafes are closed...I feel really guilty so I'm going to update twice today as compensation...thanks for all your comments....please keep doing so....I dedicate this chapter to JusticeCrewObsession....somehow I feel this chapter is for her haha...enjoy!

“Lisanna-chan, don’t you have some hatred for Lucy-chan for stealing Natsu-sama’s attention from you?”, Elizabeth was really igniting something with this conversation.

“Huh?”, Lisanna was taken aback from what she just said.

“I know about it. You loved him since childhood, didn’t you Lisanna-chan?”, Elizabeth provoked.

“Lisanna went where?!”, Lucy was shocked for what she heard.

“She said Elizabeth-chan wants to talk to her”, Mirajane said.

“That’s odd. Why would she talk to her?”

“Don’t know”, Mirajane said. “I’m actually worried”

“I am too. She’s alone after all”, Lucy eyed the door for a moment.

“Lucy? Don’t tell me you’re going after her”

“Oh no, if I do I might hinder whatever they’re going to talk about. Let’s just leave them be”, Lucy said.

“Hmm, I really should have accompanied her after all”

“It’s alright Mira, I’m sure she’s going to be fine. Elizabeth might just want to befriend her just like everyone else”, Lucy assured. “I sure hope that’s it though”

“How did you know about that?”, Lisanna asked seriously.

“It doesn’t matter does it? What matters is that somewhere along the line, you vanished, leaving Natsu-sama behind. Lucy however joined Fairy Tail. According to Natsu-sama, he personally helped her join but I don’t think that’s all”, Elizabeth sipped from the tea Reina brought for them. “You like Natsu-sama since childhood didn’t you? Now he’s too focused on Lucy-chan, isn’t that a little unfair?”

“Wait, you brought me here because you wanted to talk about Lucy, not Natsu and my relationship with him”, Lisanna defended.

“Well I was simply intrigued by it. I don’t want to talk about her, I know a lot about her already”, Elizabeth shrugged.

“So this is the real reason for asking me all the way here? Are you trying to trample my trust in Lucy as my comrade?”, Lisanna asked.

“Oh no, that’s something you decide for yourself. I’m merely intrigued by the idea of what I discovered”

“You’ve been spying on us? On Fairy Tail? What are you trying to do?”, Lisanna asked suspiciously.

“I was merely researching about Natsu-sama and I happened to come across your circumstances with him. I’m sure you know the feeling of having someone important to you, being taken away by someone else”, Elizabeth looked at her seriously. “The feeling of being replaced?”, she arched an eyebrow. “You want him for yourself don’t you? You must have hate Lucy-chan when you found out about what happened when you’re away”, Elizabeth was really trying to pressure Lisanna’s inner feelings.

“What do you expect I should do?”, Lisanna asked, her face being covered by her bangs.

“You can still take him back. Lucy-chan just has to be removed from him for some moment.  I would help you if you want”, Elizabeth smirked.

“Heh? You really are dangerous. Thinking you can do everything with your wealth and influence”, Lisanna looked up at her. “That’s something you are yet to learn! Lucy….Lucy is a great friend. She will never do something like this even if she’s as wealthy as you! I like Natsu, I admit it! But as much as I like him, I can’t hate Lucy for that fact. It just so happened that the one Natsu like is Lucy, it could be Erza or Levy or Juvia. We can’t dictate anyone who to love especially Natsu. That’s just how life is! If I can’t be with the person I like then so be it. If you love someone, face them head on, not use a dirty means to do it! I can’t be happy if the feeling is not mutual at all. Lucy…..Lucy is different from you. I understand what Natsu likes about her. I understand why Natsu likes her! But I don’t mind at all. During the time I was away I understood how difficult it is to love someone. Lucy…She will never let her friends down and she will never let them be alone if she knows there is something she can do about it. Lucy never took anyone from me. Natsu preferred to be with her. Natsu asked her to be on his team himself! It’s true that I loved him before, and we could have been together but that’s just it. He could have asked me to be his partner before Lucy came, but he never did. He just thinks of me as a friend and nothing more. If what you say is true, then everything could have been easy. Even in Edolas, Natsu and Lucy are still the same as they are in here, I came back thinking we could return to our little promise when we are children but I guess that changed already. They just have this bond that can never be break by anything. It hurts, it really hurts, but I can’t hate Lucy just because I can’t be liked in return by Natsu. As I look back now, maybe…..I like him but I guess it’s not enough to be called as love. We’re a family and that’s enough for me. Lucy is my friend, my family! I will never let you lay a hand on my family”, she determinedly said.

“Li-Lisanna-chan….what are you…”

“There are some things in this world that can’t be bought by money. Now I understand what those words meant”, Lisanna restated what Lucy just said. “I’m sorry, but for this matter, I won’t be of service to you. If that is all, I am taking my leave”, Lisanna stood and bowed as courtesy to her before leaving.

“Elizabeth, there are some things in this world that no matter how hard you try, you can never buy with money at all. You can never bring anything back with money too. You have to learn to cherish them before it’s gone”, she remembered Lucy telling her when they were still kids, back when her mother died, and before she ran away from home after Layla’s funeral.

Elizabeth was beyond her anger as she takes it all in. The cup of tea she was holding shattered when she threw it across the room. Reina looks a little troubled by her actions.

“Even if I try to outdo their bonds……the one I look forward to helping me…..why do things doesn’t go my way!”, Elizabeth’s eyes were in fury.

“Lisanna welcome back!”, Mirajane acknowledged her sister.

“I’m tired”, Lisanna said as she slumped on the counter.

“What happened?”, Mira asked worriedly.

“I’ll tell you later. Where’s Natsu?”, she asked.

“There!”, Mirajane pointed towards a far off table where Natsu looked so pissed off as he look over Macao and Wakaba’s way, Happy was silently sitting and eating fish and Lucy was across looking as pissed as he is. “You know those two started fighting earlier. They’ve been like that since morning”

“Why?”, Lisanna was intrigued.

“Well you know those two. Lucy kicked them out for barging in her apartment again this morning while she was taking a bath. Really, those two never learn their lessons”

“So it’s the usual huh? Normally they would make up already before noon but how did it last until now?”, Lisanna asked again.

“Well, Natsu accidentally burned another one of Lucy’s favourite books so she’s really angry at him. Natsu however, tried to compensate by asking her out on a job but Lucy declared that she’s not going anywhere”

“That’s so simple. Those two sure are stupid”, Lisanna groaned.

“Yeah well, aren’t you and Natsu just the same?”, Mirajane teased.

“Yeah, that sure brings back memories”, Lisanna smiled.

“Oh dear…”, Mirajane smiled as she looks at her sister.

“It’s cute to see them together even if they’re quarrelling. Those two are just like Natsu and Lucy from Edolas. I sure miss those two”, Lisanna said putting her head on her palm as she looks at Natsu and Lucy’s actions. Now both of them are pouting at each other but Lucy looks like a scolding mom on her child while Natsu was rubbing his head looking apologetic.

“Come to think of it. You told me about those two as well. Are they just as close?”, Mirajane asked.

“You bet. There’s not a day that those two never quarrelled. The guild is really noisy because of them though Lucy Ashley always beats Natsu up and he ends up crying at me like a baby to stop Lucy from injuring him any further”, Lisanna said. “That Lucy sure has a way of taming Natsu in Edolas”

“Were you close with Lucy in Edolas too?”

“Yeah. We always talk to each other just like here in Earth Land. Lucy is just as sweet as she is here. Although I can say that she’s a little rougher and scarier in Edolas. That must be because she has to keep up her façade of being strong for us. Natsu is such a wimp over there but just as cute”, Lisanna giggled.

“Looks like I smell something from you”, Mirajane teased again. “Is it “like”?”

“Mira-nee. I told you about it. You knew about how I feel already. Don’t bring it up”, Lisanna averted her eyes with a pout.

“Is it really like that?”, Mirajane asked.

“Come on, how about you and Freed or Laxus?”, now it’s Lisanna’s turn to tease.

“Now how did it turn like this?”, Mirajane blushed a little.

“You started it!”, Lisanna stuck her tongue out.

“Well you didn’t really have to involve them in this”, Mirajane started scrubbing the dishes to change the topic.

“Hmmm? Now I smell something from you”, Lisanna was really getting into it.

“Having a sister talk is a man but don’t leave me behind”, Elfman suddenly joined their conversation.

“Elf-nii, please put these dishes to the covers. It’s a job for a man right?”, Lisanna pointed to the stack of dishes.

“Alright”, Elfman took it and went out the room.

“Mira-nee, seriously though, I’m over it already. It’s been clear to me since before. It’s just a childhood experience. I’m sure Natsu never thought about it”

“Alright. That’s really great to hear”, Mira giggled.

“Yeah, looking at those two makes me want to support them as well”, Lisanna smiled. “Looks like my story has ended, I guess my time with him is already over. Natsu, I hope you’ll be happy. Now it’s up to you Lucy”
