Hi EVERYONE! I'm posting the last chapter of this story. Good news to all, I will have all the time I need to focus on my on-going story entitled: "Tales of an Adventure: Joining Hands: Allies and Foes", also, hopefully, by New Years Eve, I might post my next story haha. I'll give all of you a story to look forward for the start of a new year. I'll post it tomorrow at midnight but official posting of chapter will come by mid-January and may change depending on how many people want to read it. Thanks for supporting this story all this time. I will refrain writing GruVia, RoWen or any other pairings for now. I will develop my skills first in doing NaLu. Please enjoy this last chapter!

Somewhere sixty kilometres from Ranburin....

“Damn, I sure am happy that Etherion missed us by a few centimetres below the ground”, Gray muttered.

“Well if you think about it we literally dug out our own graves”, Gajeel said.

“A mass burial I might add”, Lily said.

“Good thing Virgo came and helped us create a hole so fast. Charle’s visions were spot on!”, Happy mumbled tiredly.

“Yeah”, Wendy sweat dropped.

Flashback

“What...”, Charle was frozen stiff as another vision came. A flashing light will come and wipe the entire town of Ranburin.

“Princess”, Virgo said.

“Virgo? What are you still doing here?”, Lucy was surprised. She didn’t go back to the Spirit Realm after treating Romeo, Wendy and Kyouka.

“There’s something we have to do”, Virgo told them.

“What do you mean?”, Lucy asked.

“Do it! We have to move or we’ll be dead by the next thirty seconds!”, Charle shouted out.

“What?!”, they all shouted out.

“I’m sorry. I’ll gladly take your punishment later, Princess”, Virgo crossed her arms and disappeared on the ground.

“AAAHHHHHHH!!!”, They all screamed as they all fell into one deep pit. Virgo reclosed the ground and they were all buried alive.

“It’s coming. Brace yourselves!”, Charle warned.

“What exactly...”, Happy was about to ask when the ground shook above them violently and the upper part of the hole was starting to crumble.

“It’s Etherion”, Charle just replied.

“Everyone, let’s try our best not to get buried alive for real!”, Erza ordered.

End of Flashback

“I’m grateful to you Virgo”, Lucy said.

“Yeah, you saved us out there”, Natsu seconded.

“No, thank Horologium-sama. He told me about the danger to help all of you. He could have gone here to save Lucy-sama alone but he knows she won’t be happy by that so he asked me to help you out instead”, Virgo replied.

“Horologium?”, Lucy held Horologium’s key.

“Yes. Well then, I’ll be leaving now, Princess. I’ll be looking forward to my punishment the next time we meet”, Virgo slowly faded in front of them.

“I told you I won’t punish you, geez!”, Lucy pouted. When she disappeared, she hugged both Horologium and Virgo’s key.

“You really are loved by them”, Natsu grinned.

“Yeah, I guess so”, Lucy blushed a little with happiness.

“Lucy, Natsu, we’re going now”, Erza said.

“Yeah, we’re coming!”, Natsu replied.

“When we go back, I will surrender myself to the Council and accept all the necessary punishment”, Kyouka said.

“Don’t worry Kyouka-san, I’m sure everything will be alright”, Wendy tried to comfort her.

“I’m sorry”, Kyouka looked down.

“Eh? Why?”, Wendy asked.

“For putting you in so much danger. For trying to kill you. And for everything else”, she said.

“It’s alright. Everything turned out fine right?”, Wendy smiled.

“How can you smile so freely like that? I did try to kill you!”, Kyouka shouted out.

“True. But, what I learned in Fairy Tail for this past year, I realized that, bonds and family are more important than everything else. You are once my enemy, but you made a choice to stop from being like that right?”

“I...I may turn out differently.....if I met you sooner”, Kyouka cried. “Thank you, Wendy”

“No, thank you. You made me see and experience something, I never did before”, Wendy smiled.

“I see. It would be nice if we see each other again”, Kyouka smiled as well.

“I will visit you with Romeo-kun, Kyouka, let’s be friends”, Wendy offered her hand.

“Yes. I would love that”, Kyouka took her hand with a smile.

“You’re really strong”, Taiga confronted Romeo as they walk.

“Eh?”, Romeo was confused.

“That move you did when we try to capture that girl”, Taiga pointed to Wendy. You really have a great potential”

“I see”, Romeo was quite happy and embarrassed.

“Sure he has. He was able to land a punch on me. That was a hard blow I might say”, Yuuya commended.

“Maybe you’re really weak”, Taiga teased.

“Yeah right, you were knocked out too”, Yuuya mocked.

“I was not!”, Taiga barked back.

Romeo sweat dropped at them.

“Hey kid, once we got out of prison, I want to cross arms with you again”, Taiga looked at him seriously with a challenge.

Romeo looked back and nodded with a smirk.

“You got it”, he crossed his arms with him in a manly way like a promise was made between them.

“Hey don’t forget to have a go with me too”, Yuuya said.

“Of course”, Romeo replied.

“Well then, we’ll be parting now”, Kyouka said.

“Thank you for everything you did for us”, Taiga said as they all bowed at Wendy and the rest.

“No....well”, Wendy was fidgeting and was embarrassed by the way they are acting in fron of her.

Romeo stood beside her and put a hand on her shoulder to calm her.

“Romeo-kun?”, Wendy looked at him curiously. Romeo just nodded at her.

Both of them bowed back in front of Silent Reaper.

“We’ll come and see you soon”, they both said.

They watched as Silent Reaper was taken away.

“Romeo!”, Taiga stopped by the door. “Remember your oath”, he said.

Romeo grinned and gave him a thumb up. Taiga smiled and continued to walk.

“What oath?”, Lucy, Gray, Juvia, Erza, Levy, Happy, Charle and Wendy all looked at him for answers. Romeo blushed and just turned his back on them.

“It’s a secret between men”, he said and walked away.

“Hey at least tell me!”, Gray ran towards him.

Natsu and Gajeel were just smiling at them for they know what it is about.

“You protected her well”

“I’m responsible for her safety”

“Is she your girlfriend?”

“Of course not!”

“I see”

“But....I intend to take her as my partner”

“Haha, I see! Then, promise me you would protect that girl from now on”

“Of course. That’s my will from the start”

“Grow up to be a strong man, Romeo”

“Sure”

“Hey Wendy, let me join you on your next mission”, Romeo said.

“Really?”, Wendy looked at him with anticipation and happiness in her eyes.

“Yeah, after all, it’s not that bad to have a mission with the team”, he grinned. Wendy smiled back, understanding what he meant.

“Un!”, Wendy was smiling while walking beside him.

“So, what’s the next mission going to be?”, Romeo asked.

“Let’s go back to the guild first”, Wendy said.

“Geez, those two will grow up to be such fine wizards”, Erza said as they follow them back to the guild.

“Who knows, we might be looking at the next generation’s strongest team of Fairy Tail”, Lucy giggled.

“Aye sir!”, Happy seconded.

“They’ll make a great team, right Gray-sama?”, Juvia was still hugging Gray’s arm until now.

Gajeel and Natsu were just looking at the two with a grin.

“Fairy Tail will surely have a great future ahead of it”, they all thought.

When they opened the guild doors, they were greeted with hugs, and smiling faces of their family.

“We’re home!”, they all said.
