“WENDY? Why do they want Wendy?”, looking at the innocent girl beside him, Romeo can’t help but feel responsible for protecting her. “I will never let them have Wendy at all cost”, he vowed.

“Romeo-kun?”, Wendy whispered silently.

“Whoever those guys are, they won’t get you, I promise”, Romeo assured her.

“But, what should we do?”, Wendy asked.

“We have to get out of this place fast or they’ll find us”, Charle said.

“We don’t have a choice. You two, when I give the signal, both of you will run okay?”, Romeo said.

“But what about you?”, Wendy asked.

“I will distract them. Head north, don’t turn back. Also, Wendy, hand me the lacrima”

“Eh? But why?”

“All of the people who are looking for the treasure are grouped by three. I think it will be easy enough for me to find you guys since there’s just the two of you. Just keep heading north though. When you think it’s safe, stay hidden until I find you guys alright?”, Romeo said.

“Can’t we just stay and help you fight them?”, Wendy whispered.

“No, we can’t risk you’re safety now that we know you’re the one they’re after”

“I see, Wendy, if you stay here, you’ll get in the way. I can see what lies ahead if you stayed. If we don’t make a move now, we’ll be seen”, Charle said.

“Don’t worry, I’ll find you guys. I’ll just lose them in the woods”

“But what if you can’t find us even with the lacrima?”

“We’ll find him. I think with your Dragon Slayer senses and my predictions in the future happenings, we can find him easily”, Charle confidently said.

“Wendy, trust me”, Romeo said.

“Alright. Be careful”, Wendy readied herself for a run.

“Hey you lots!”, one of the men shouted out.

“What is it you moron?”, the other barked back.

“I think I smell something”, said the first.

Romeo dashed out from the tree they were hiding.

“Ohhhh, I think that boy was the one who’s with the girl we’re looking for”

“Heh? HEY! WHERE’S THE LITTLE GIRL WITH YOU?”, asked the man who has big muscles.

“You have to catch me first!”, Romeo stuck his tongue out and mocked the group before running to a different direction.

“FOLLOW HIM!”, ordered the buffed man.

When the group had a good distance from where they hid, Wendy and Charle ran to where Romeo instructed them to go.

Fairy Tail Guild….

“Oh, looks like the guild is quiet today”, Master Makarov sighed with relief.

“You noticed?”, Mirajane smiled sweetly at him.

“Natsu and the others are out. That’s the only time the guild is at peace”, Laxus complimented.

“So they’re on a mission huh?”, Master Makarov said.

“Yes, apparently, Wendy didn’t have a partner so she took Romeo and they happen to meet Natsu and Lucy who just finished their mission so they came along”, Mirajane said.

“Heh? That’s good. It’s nice to have some peace and quiet scenery in the guild”, Master Makarov smiled.

“Ah, geez, just as when we have to find Romeo and the others we have to run into these annoying people!”, Lucy groaned in annoyance.

Currently, they were having troubles in going further because they are always hindered by wizards, thieves, and others who are in the forest.

“Hah, this will be a good training ground. I might as well shed a few sweats with them”, Natsu cracked his knuckles. “I’m all fired up”

“Aye sir!”

“Finish them!”, their opponents yelled.

“Open the gate of the Centaur! SAGITARRIUS!”, Lucy wielded her key as Sagitarrius was summoned before her.

“I’m here moshi moshi!”, saluted Sagitarrius.

“Aim for them and don’t show mercy!”, Lucy angrily shouted.

“RAAAAHH!”, Natsu ignited his fists as he happily collide with their faces.

“Take this, and that, and this, and that!”, Happy was swaying the stick he saw and hit anyone who comes his way.

“OOORAH!”, Natsu finished the last opponent they had. The poor fellow landed face first on the ground.

“Wait!”, Lucy frantically went over to Natsu’s side as something caught her interest. She saw a blackish colour near the man’s chest.

“Talking about missions, Mira, this came from the capitol. The Council said they’re going to cancel out this request because the town is in jeopardy. Some dark guild has taken over and they’re trying to figure out how to extinguish them before it gets out of hand”, Laxus handed her the documents.

“Looks like it’s dangerous”, Mirajane said, securing the documents at hand and passed it to Kinana.

“You bet, the Council are having troubles just by planning this out, If it become too hard for them to handle, they might ask assistance from official guilds”, Laxus said.

“Hmmm? Wait a minute, Mira…”, Kinana tapped Mirajane’s shoulder. “Look, this request. It’s the same one that Wendy took this morning”, Kinana said.

“Lucy, I didn’t know you can rape a man so boldly in the open”, Happy teased while looking at Lucy as she strips the man’s clothes.

“Idiot, I was looking for this!”, Lucy pointed the insignia the man has on his left chest.

“What is that?”, Natsu hovered.

“This looks like a guild’s insignia”, Lucy pointed out.

“AH! That mark!”, Happy exclaimed in surprise.

“You know it?”, Natsu asked.

“That mark is from a dark guild! Silent Reaper!”, Happy shouted.

“Silent Reaper?”, Natsu asked.

“I heard of them. They are known for creating arsons on different parts of Earthland”, Lucy stopped when she realized something. “Don’t tell me…..”

“What is it?”, Happy asked.

“You saw the fog and smoke when we arrived right?”, Lucy made it sound so obvious.

“You don’t mean…”, Happy gasped.

“If I’m right, then we’ve been tricked into coming here”, Lucy said.

“Oh no! Master!”, Mirajane looked at him worriedly.

“Get Warren! He might still be able to warn them!”, Master Makarov shouted out. Laxus and Mirajane did what was told.

“Charle, I think we’ll be safe there”, Wendy pointed to a cave.

“Yeah, we have to hide. We can’t stay in the open like this”, Charle took her hand and ran towards the cave.

The cave was too dark despite the brightness of the sunrays outside.

“Do you think Romeo-kun is alright?”, Wendy asked.

“Don’t worry about him. I think he’s capable of handling himself”, Charle said.

“I hope so”, Wendy said.

“This place……I think we’ve been tricked into coming here”, Lucy said. “Silent Reaper, is a dark guild that is obsessed with a powerful mist”

“Mist?”, Natsu and Happy looked confused.

“There’s a mist that can eradicate everything it touches. Its gas-like form is fatal. It occurs to me that……this town…..this mountain…..maybe, the treasure they’re talking about is that mist”, Lucy said with horror.

“EH! Then, those wizards…..”, Natsu exclaimed.

“Yeah. They’re all part of this act. But there’s something I can’t figure out yet”, Lucy said.

“What?”, Happy asked.

“Why did they have to separate us from Romeo and Wendy?”, Lucy said.

“Charle, he’s taking too long. Do you think….”, Wendy was worried now.

“Shhh, Wendy, I have to concentrate”, Charle said with a hint of annoyance.

“But….”, Wendy’s statement was cut off when she heard something. “Ummmfff”, and then, a hand clamped her mouth from voicing out a shout.

“WENDY!”, Charle exclaimed.
