“Sand Buster!”, Scorpio shouted out with his attack.

“It didn’t budge”, Happy slumped to the ground.

Scorpio vanished in an instant and Lucy kneeled to the ground due to exhaustion.

“Lucy are you okay?”, Gray asked.

“Love rival!”, Juvia emanated a dark aura.

“I’m not!”, Lucy scowled at Juvia. “I must have run out of magic”, Lucy panted.

“Rest. I’ll bust this thing up no matter what it takes!”, Natsu attacked the large hindrance once again.

“Please….”, Charle was still holding her hopes up.

“I got through!”, Warren exclaimed. Everyone turned their heads to him.

“Romeo? Wendy!”, Warren’s voice echoed in Romeo and Wendy’s heads.

“Warren-nii/Warren-san!”, Romeo and Wendy gasped with relief.

“Are you guys alright?”, Warren asked.

“Yeah. But the mist….”, Romeo replied.

“The mist? What about it?”, Warren asked.

“The barrier cracked. The mist is leaking out as we speak”, Wendy was the one to answer.

“WHAT?!”

“Romeo, Wendy”, Erza’s voice took over.

“Erza-san?”, Wendy asked.

“Listen, we only have thirty minutes left before the sun sets. The Council is thinking of firing Etherion to stop the mist from breaking out and to kill everyone here. Where’s Silent Reaper’s master?”, she asked.

“She’s here. Erza-nee, she won’t hurt anyone now. She’s on our side”, Romeo smiled to her.

“I see, then, can I talk to her?”, Erza asked. Kyouka nodded.

“I’m here”

“Do you know anything to stop the mist?”, Erza asked.

“There’s only one option left but I’m afraid it won’t stop the mist”, she said.

“Can you do something to break out of the mountain?”, Erza asked.

“With Wendy’s help, I think so. We’ll probably use the mist”, Kyouka replied.

“The mist?! Isn’t that dangerous?”, Warren exclaimed.

“Erza-san, she already told us the plan. The only problem is, when the mountain oxidizes, the mist will probably spread out”, Wendy said.

“Leave the rest to us. Just do what she said”, Erza said. “We’ll take care of that problem later”

“Everyone…”, Romeo and Wendy were touched by their words.

“Wait! My members….can you please….at least….help them too? Keep them safe please. I know we did so many wrong things and hurt you but they only did it because I ordered them. Let me take the blame for each one of them just save them”, Kyouka’s words sounds as if she’s genuinely worried for them.

“Don’t worry”, Lucy was the one to reply. “We took your members to the City Hall. Everyone is unconscious but I think they’ll be fine. Well, unless we all decay here and die or get fired by Etherion”

“Thank you”, Kyouka cried.

“Just do your plan. We’ll be waiting for you guys here”, Erza cut the telepathy.

Domus Flau….

“Your Highness”, a palace guard entered the large door. “Three members of the Council are here”, he bowed.

“Thanks you”, he said and dismissed the guard. The door closed behind him.

“Your majesty”, the three Council members said in unison.

“I heard some troublesome thing from an official guild about your actions”, the King started.

“If that is about the problems in Ranburin, we formulated a plan to settle it”, one of them said.

“Settle huh? So sacrificing lives are your option in settling matters?”, the Kings asked.

“Your highness, you don’t understand. If the mist breaks out and spreads…..”

“I understand how dangerous the matter is. Fairy Tail has already explained everything to me. You know how those wizards act and how serious they are with securing the safety of their family members. During the Grand Magic Games, the attack of the Dragons, most of the Dragon Slayers who helped us survive that attack was from the same guild. The one who gave us another chance of saving our lifetime came from them. They saved our asses many times already, kabo!”, the King intercepted.

“What…don’t tell me they…”

“They told me everything I need to know. The Council, I’m ordering you to halt your preparations in firing Etherion for another two hours”, the King announced.

“What?! You can’t possibly be serious! If we wait that long the casualties will be worse! Don’t gamble the fate of the whole Earthland to eight wizards from Fairy Tail!”

“I’ve seen worst than that and surely you don’t want to see the guild you’re underestimating so much to invoke the worst kind of situation. Two hours is all they need! Of all the dark guilds listed in the Ballam Alliance that you guys are so afraid of in creating misbalance, you should fear the official guild Fairy Tail more. You’ve seen how repulsive they are. I’m not gambling the fate of Earthland with them, I’m entrusting our fate to them. Those wizards will not fail”

“We……we’ll see what we can do. If the King will go as far as this just to persuade us….we might heed your orders”, the Council members vowed and bowed in front of him.

“I hope you will do as I ordered. You may go now, kabo!”, the King dismissed them.

“Master, did it work?”, Jet and Droy asked.

“I don’t know”, Master Makarov said.

“Master!”, Mirajane and the others ran towards them with the others.

“Mirajane, what is it?”

“The Council….the Council has took notice of what we did”, Mirajane explained.

“Gramps”, Laxus landed in front of them.

“Laxus?”

“Three of the Council members has gone to Crocus to make an audience with the King”

“What? How?”, Master Makarov was surprised.

“The King has heeded our request. After all, he still owes us one”, Mavis appeared beside Laxus and smiled.

“She helped us out”, Laxus grinned.

“But….the Council can still fire Etherion lacking three members. An hour is the least we can give them”, Mavis warned.

“A lot will happen in an hour. I’m sure those guys know that”, Gajeel smirked.

“Are you ready?”, Romeo asked. Wendy nodded and stood to her position. Looking at the leaking mist, she took a deep breath and readied herself.

“Remember the plan Wendy?”, Kyouka asked.

“Yes. Let’s do it”, Wendy tightened her resolve as she remembers what they planned earlier.

Flashback

“Only a Sky Dragon Slayer can do?”, Wendy asked.

“Yes. You remember why I needed your magic right?”, Kyouka asked.

“To break the barrier?”, Romeo asked.

“That’s the main reason….but as you saw, I was able to break it with my magic”, Kyouka said. “I understand why my father warned me not to go near the mountains when he found it seventeen years ago. Now I know what he’s trying to tell me. My magic has the power to break the barrier and set the mist free”, Kyouka said.

“So what do you plan we do?”, Wendy asked.

“Your magic is mainly Sky magic right? You possess wind type element. That means you might be able to control the mist since its property is gas”

“Are you trying to say she should eat it?”, Romeo asked.

“No. The mist is impossible to be eaten. Wendy will die before she ingested it. Her body will corrode”, Kyouka said.

“Then what are we supposed to do?”, Wendy asked.

“You have to control its course”

“Control it? How?”, Romeo asked.

“She can make its course go to a different direction and bring them together in one place”, Kyouka explained. “Wendy, your breath….remember when you roared on Yuuya and Taiga? It created a vortex of wind concentrating in a single point right?”

“Are you trying to say, she should roar on it?”, Romeo asked.

“Yeah”

“But won’t it corrode everything? If it spreads we’ll all die”, Wendy said.

“We’re still on the mountain. Father already planned it out. If the barrier, by any means, happens to break, this mountain will contain it. It will spread out and corrode the mountain into nothingness. The mountain will turn into dust either way or the mist will spread in the wind. It won’t be long before it reaches other lands and flake it too. We should at least keep it together until the mountain corrodes”

“I see. If the mountain decayed, how will we stop the mist then?”, Romeo asked.

“If that happens, I’ll try activating the last thing my Father left me”, she smiled at them wholeheartedly.

End of Flashback

“I don’t know what she’s planning with her last statement but……”, Wendy made her stance, took a deep breath and aimed towards the large boulder in front of her. “Roar of the……”

“I won’t let it end here”, she thought. “SKY DRAGON!
