Hi Everyone! I'm terribly sorry for updating so late. I was too distracted for this past weeks that I haven't realized it's been a month since I last updated and checked my account. Honestly I was itching to update but I have a lot on my hands right now so I wasn't able to check any online accounts of mine. I really apologize for all of this. Please enjoy this chapter though.  “Will we be able to get out of this stinking place before they blast us?”, Gajeel asked.

“They have to make it or else we’ll all die”, Erza said.

“That is one ominous statement”, Kyouka said.

“Hey, why don’t you use your magic to make it happen?”, Natsu asked.

“What do you mean?”, Taiga asked.

“I mean, make her say, stop time or something”, Natsu scratched his head.

“Idiot, it doesn’t work that way!”, Yuuya angrily said.

“That would be helpful if that’s possible”, Wendy said.

“I’m sure they’ll be able to do something”, Gray said.

“As long as Gray-sama is with Juvia I don’t care if this is my last moment being alive!”, Juvia hugged Gray tighter.

“Oh boy, things are getting steamy”, some Silent Reaper members said.

“What....”, Charle was frozen stiff.

“Charle?”, Wendy and the others looked at her.

“Princess”, Virgo said.

“Virgo? What are you still doing here?”, Lucy was surprised. She didn’t go back to the Spirit Realm after treating Romeo, Wendy and Kyouka.

“There’s something we have to do”, Virgo told them.

Magic Council...

“We shouldn’t waste another minute”

“We gave our word to wait two hours”

“Fifteen minutes more and it will be two hours!”

“We can’t just do it since the King has asked us to wait”

“If we wait, it may have been too late! The mountain holding that cursed mist crumbled an hour ago! The mist started spreading ever since! If we wait it will spread and annihilate everything in its path!”

The Council members were arguing about Ranburin’s case. They still haven’t heard about Fairy Tail’s success in stopping Silent Reaper’s plans.

“Enough! We have a duty to fulfil, the sooner we settle this matter, the better. Sacrifices were always made in accordance to many victories. We have to do it”

“If no one will do it, I will!”, one member started to run to the control room to push the needed trigger for Etherion to fire.

“No!”, some tried to stop him but with his gap, they won’t make it.

A loud crack was heard within the four walls to where they were standing. The ground shook as Etherion readies itself to fire. Half of the Council were sweating hard as what one of them has done, the others just closed their eyes, accepting whatever fate lies to those who will suffer the thing they did.

“STOP!!!”, Laxus, Makarov and Jet shouted out.

“What are you doing in here?!”, the Council asked with surprise.

“You have to stop! You can’t fire Etherion!”, Laxus cried out.

“What are you saying?”, one of the Council members asked.

“My children won the battle. Silent Reaper’s Master surrendered herself. The mist stopped from spreading. The danger is no longer approaching so don’t fire Etherion!”, Makarov explained.

The whole room was quiet.

“Even if you say that.....”, one of the Council members started.

“Etherion....was fired already”, another pointed towards the control area. A monitor showed them how much time is left before Etherion makes its impact.

“You didn’t”, Jet was sweating hard. The monitor shows 1 minute.

“It can’t be!”, Laxus had the same expression as Jet has.

“WHAT DID YOU DO!!!!”, Master Makarov was angry. “MY CHILDREN ARE STILL IN THERE!”

“Gramps, they told us they were leaving the town right? Maybe....” Laxus tried to be optimistic.

“No, even if they left ten minutes ago, they wouldn’t have gone that far. Etherion will definitely reach them by a kilometre. They will surely die”, Master Makarov slumped to the ground. Just thinking about Natsu and the others dying is enough to make him weak.

“This can’t be....Levy-chan....everyone”, Jet started to cry.

“WHAT!!!!”, the King stood in surprise.

“What is it, your highness?”, Princess Hisui entered the room and asked why her father was in such a state.

“It can’t be...”, the Kings stuttered.

“Arcadios-san, what happened?”, Princess Hisui asked the armoured man, knowing that answer wouldn’t be possible coming from her father.

“A report just came”, Arcadios looked at her glumly.

“What kind of report?”, Princess Hisui asked. Arcadios looked reluctant to say it knowing it would upset her. “WHAT REPORT?!”, she asked with annoyance.

“The council activated Etherion”, the King was the one to finish what Arcadios has started.

“Etherion? The holy magic?”, Princess Hisui was surprised. “For what reason would they use it?”

“They aimed it in Ranburin”, Arcadios said.

“Ranburin? So why are you looking like that? If it’s unnecessary then...”

“My dear child, they aimed the town where our victors are. Fairy Tail members, those who have almost all of the victors of the Grand Magic Games and who stopped the dragons from killing all of us, they were casualties of Etherion”, the King explained.

“What? Father....tell me that’s not true......it can’t be....Lucy-san and Natsu-san......”, Princess Hisui ran towards her father and kneeled in front of him. “Tell me it’s not true!”

The King just turned his head with guilt.

“Arcadios, do something!”

Arcadios just vowed knowing he can’t do anything.

“No! This can’t be! I have to go to the council. Arcadios!”, Princess Hisui was starting to stand when her father stopped her from going.

“You can’t do anything now, none of us can. Once Etherion activates, it can’t be stopped”, the King said.

“No way....”, Hisui just closed her eyes. “I beg you, please live”

Four seconds later, they felt the ground shook lightly.

“Etherion.....made its impact”, one of the Council members announced.

The monitor shows the status of what they did.

“No way. That impact.....” Laxus mumbled. The area that the Lacrima showed is foggy, no buildings can be seen, no mountains, whatsoever. No living things can be seen above ground.

“LEVY-CHAN.....”, Jet cried.

“We’re terribly sorry for your loss.....”, the Council bowed at Makarov.

 Makarov clenched his fist angrily; a dark menacing aura is starting to erupt from him.

“Unforgivable...”, Master Makarov softly mumbled.

“G-Grandpa....”, Laxus stuttered.

A beeping sound was heard through the lacrima three seconds later. Everyone’s head turned to look at it.

“N-No way!”, the Council members gasped.

Laxus, Jet, and Master Makarov’s eyes were wide when they saw what the lacrima’s status report is showing.

Maximum Range of Impact: 20 km.

Target: Annihilated

Living Organisms: 0....2.....5........8....10

As the beep keeps going, the numbers keeps growing as well.

“What the....what’s happening?”, one Council member asked.

“Impossible”, some said.

Living Organisms: 58 in total

Master Makarov’s eyes widened when he caught a small hole in the lacrima.

Natsu came out of it, and then he helped someone out, the second person they saw is Lucy, followed with the others until they saw all 58 persons who came out.

“Th-They’re alright!”, Jet was the one to exclaim.

“Damn, those brats.......”, Master Makarov showed tears of relief with what they’re witnessing.

“They’re stubborn even with death”, Laxus smirked.

“Come, let’s head back to the guild and wait for them”, Master Makarov tapped Laxus’ hands and walked past him.

“Yeah, we should calm everyone when we get back. I’m sure they’ve been pretty intense with that earthquake just now”, Laxus said. A cheerful Jet came after.

“W-wait a minute Makarov!”, a Council member tried to stop him.

“No”, another stopped his comrade while shaking his head.

“But...”

“It would be better if we don’t stop them. We owe them this much”

“What are you saying? They’re just an official guild”

“True. But if we don’t let them be, they would be far more frightening than Silent Reaper”

“We’re lucky that they’re just leaving quietly through those doors. Besides, we have more important things to settle”

Fairy Tail Grounds...

“Really?!”, Macao blurted with happiness.

“Yeah we saw them ourselves. They’re alright. All of them”, Laxus smirked.

“Thank goodness!”, they all cheered.

“Then, we have to arrange a party for their return. Everyone, do your part!”, master Makarov happily raised his hand.

“Yeah!”, all of them said.

“Are you sure about that?”, Princess Hisui asked.

“Yes. The Council confirmed it and Fairy Tail is starting to arrange a celebration of their return”, a guard replied.

“Isn’t that great, Princess”, Arcadios smiled.

“Yes. That really is good news”, Princess Hisui sighed with relief.
