Helllloooooo!!!!! How have you all been doing huh??? I feel better each day but I feel best today, especially since I got the chance to update wahaha....so, anyone who wants to share what epic thing they did?? “Why do they need Wendy? Wait a minute”, Lucy read over the paper in her hand that shows some sort of strategic plan and information about a person they are trying to look. It doesn’t show Wendy’s name but the details pertain only to her and her abilities. Lucy tried to sum them all up.

“This town. The mountains. The number of trees that surround every mountain. The town’s treasure. Silent Reaper. Mist. Wendy? Her abilities has the properties of the wind element. Could it be…”, Lucy read the document again and found something different.

“Natsu, Dragon Slayers have enhanced senses right?”, Lucy asked.

“Yes. Why?”

“We’re going to need your senses right now”, Lucy said. She grabbed one lacrima from the other group that shows the map of the town with dots all over them just like what Wendy and Romeo has. When she scanned it thoroughly, she saw the pattern they’re using.

“There they are”

“How do you know?”, Natsu asked.

“I’ll explain later. We have to change their pattern. Give me a minute”, Lucy seriously said.

“Hurry!”, Romeo whispered as he drags Wendy to the nearest big stone to hide.

“There’s someone who will find us here in the next five minutes. If we don’t get away now, we’ll be seen”, Charle warned with her eyes closed.

“Romeo-kun, there’s a nearby cave twenty meters west from here”, Wendy said, looking at the lacrima in her hand. They made the display little so it would be like a hologram from a hand phone.

“Will it be safe?”, he asked.

“I don’t see anyone near it. We would be able to run to it before being seen”, Wendy assured.

“Alright let’s go”, Romeo started to run with her.

“This is hard…”, Lucy said. “We’re getting closer to them. We have to get to them before they do”

“We can’t go further with all these wizards lurking”, Natsu said.

“Aye”

“We can’t give up, come on; let’s go through this cave. We’ll be able to avoid them”, Lucy pointed out.

“Alright let’s get ready”, Natsu said.

“Hello? Natsu? Lucy? Can you hear me?”, Warren’s voice was heard in their heads once more. It’s a little blurred but they can hear him just fine.

“What is it?”, Natsu asked.

“Levy found something out about the guild you are talking about”, Warren said.

“Fill her in”, Lucy said.

“Lu-chan…”, Levy’s voice took over.

“What did you find Levy-chan?”, Lucy asked.

“Just some things. Sorry it took so long. It was hard to look for information about Dark Guilds, good thing Gajeel has someone we can ask”, Levy said.

“It’s alright, I knew we can count on you”, Lucy said.

“Here it is. Silent Reaper, a guild which was created as assassins. There are some reports about different fires in different countries by unnatural causes. It was later that they found some sightings of wizards causing it. The Council has no knowledge it was a Dark Guild. They just considered it was some rebellious act against them. Silent Reaper was a guild operated by a girl”

“What? Their Master was a girl?”, Lucy gasped.

“Yes, Gajeel was able to extract her name from a survivor”, Levy said.

“What’s her name?”, Lucy asked.

“Akari Kyouka”, Levy said.

“Akari…..Kyouka?”, Lucy repeated.

“Yes. Lu-chan, there’s something you must know about her. She has some grudges on the Council. The Council said that she must have taken over Ranburin because of its treasure”

“So the Council knows about the treasure?”

“Yes. Ranburin’s Mayor came over to them to stop the mission given to official guilds. The treasure they were talking about was already discovered but the Mayor said that it was not what they expected it to be”

“The mist was the treasure right? It’s what their guild is after”, Lucy beat her to it.

“That’s right. The townspeople evacuated right after they discovered the treasure was the mist under the mountains. The Mayor asked their best wizards to seal it with a special barrier”

“Barrier? Why would they seal it away? It’s their treasure right?”, Natsu asked.

“Natsu, those Silent Reaper must have attacked them and took over the town. It’s natural for them to evacuate right?”, Happy said.

“Actually, they evacuated even before they arrived and took over”, Levy announced.

“WHAT?!”, Happy, Lucy and Natsu all shouted out.

“Lu-chan, Master asked me to tell you this. You have to find Romeo, Wendy and Charle soon and return to Magnolia at once. There’s a reason why the Mayor sealed the mist and had everyone evacuate the town”

“No way, don’t tell me…”

“Yeah, the town is starting to corrode itself. It won’t be long before it collapse into dust because of the mist. It’s too strong. The barrier was able to contain it so they left it like that and abandoned Ranburin before someone from the town accidentally set it free”

“I see. I get it now! I understand why they’re looking for Wendy!”, Lucy gasped with horror.

“Lucy?”, Natsu was alerted.

“Lu-chan?”

“I’ll talk to you later Levy-chan. We’ll leave as soon as we find them”, Lucy said. She looked at Natsu seriously. “Natsu, we have to move!”

Romeo, Wendy and Charle tried their best to keep themselves hidden from all the wizards near them. They managed to get into an open field.

“Hah…hah…hah..”, Wendy was trying her best to catch her breath with all the running they did.

“Are you okay?”, Romeo looked at her worriedly.

“Yeah….”

“Those wizards are so persistent”, Charle said.

“Wait a minute…….Wendy, hand over that lacrima”, Romeo gestured his hands, waiting for her to give it to him.

“What are you…”, Wendy’s voice trailed off with what she saw after turning the lacrima over to Romeo. Romeo shattered the lacrima into dozens of shards using his fire magic.

“What did you do?”, Charle asked.

“That lacrima has a trailing device. That’s how they keep finding us. If everyone we encountered so far are wizards who are looking for you, then that woman from the City Hall was part of them. That’s why she gave it to you”, Romeo said. Wendy and Charle can’t utter a word. They realized Romeo was right. “They knew you will have it with you everywhere you go, that’s why they separated us from Natsu-nii and the others. Darn it, we’ve been lured to an open hunting ground”

“I see”, Wendy mumbled softly.

“What do you suppose we do now?”

“I promised to protect Wendy at all cost. I will do so even if it kills me”, Romeo vowed. “Coming here was a big mistake. If Natsu-nii was in my situation, what would he do?”, Romeo bit the tip of his thumb as he thinks of a plan.

“Where could they be?”, Lucy groaned by the sight she was seeing as of the moment. The light that shown Wendy and the others vanished and even if she changed the pattern it still won’t appear. “Their lacrima must have shattered or something”

“There are too many of them”, Natsu agreed.

“How are we going to find them now?”, Happy slumped to the ground.

“With all these numbers, it’s not hard to understand why the Council is generating a plan. What should we do? We can’t just face every one of them head on, it’s too dangerous. We might end up using all our magic before we find them”, Lucy tipped her chin, thinking hard on how they’re going to search their missing friends.

“But staying here doing nothing is frustrating”, Natsu punched his fists together.

“Who knows? Maybe Charles and the others are in danger”, Happy said.

“What should we do? If this keeps up…….”, Lucy was gritting her teeth with frustration.

“I smell something…”, Natsu said as he starts sniffing the air around them.

“What…..”, Lucy trailed-off.

“Look!”, Happy pointed to the sky, north-east from where they stand. There’s a little smoke lifting to the skies.

“This smell…….it’s Romeo!”, Natsu recognized.

“Romeo?”, Lucy was taken aback, then, realization hit her. “Could it be….”

“It’s Romeo’s stink flame I’m sure of it!”, Natsu said.

“Really?”, Happy asked.

“Yeah, that smell is hard to forget”, Natsu smirked as he remembered the times he sniffed that disgusting thing and ate it.

“Let’s go!”, Lucy started running to the direction of the smoke.

“What an awful smell”, Charle complained as she tried her best to cover her nose.

“Cover your nose”, Romeo burned some wood and leaves altogether with his stink flame. “Wendy, can you divert the smoke upwards and spread the scent all over the place?”

“I’ll try”, Wendy took a deep breath and blew hard. It was less strong than her Sky Dragon’s Roar but resilient enough to do the task Romeo asked her to do.

“I hope that is enough”, Romeo anticipated his plan. “Charle, can you please warn us if you see anyone other than Natsu-nii and the others coming here? I expect those troublesome jerks will come here after this stunt”

“Geez, acting so manly. I will do my best don’t worry”, Charle said as she smiles at the sight Wendy and Romeo are making. “They create such a good partnership. Sometimes I think this boy has the potential to protect Wendy better than me. It won’t be long before he grows up like Natsu”

Her thoughts ended when a new vision flashed in her head.

“WENDY!!!!!”, she heard herself shout with despair.

End of Vision

She saw her first vision again, three men will ambush them from their right side in a fast pace.

“No……NO!!!! WE HAVE TO……WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE NOW!!!”, she cried out running to Wendy and Romeo. “ROMEO! WENDY! RUN!”
