“Ungh”

“What happened?”

“Where……”

“Ummmm”, Kyouka’s voice was heard.

All heads turned to her. Erza, Warren, Gray, Gajeel, Levy, Juvia, and the Exceeds are beside her. Natsu and Lucy  were holding the unconscious Wendy and Romeo in their hands.

“You….”

“Master….”

“I’m sorry…everyone…. I’m very…sorry”, Kyouka grovelled in front of them.

“Master…..”, some said.

“Little girl”, a hand patted her head.

“Taiga….san”, she gasped.

“You returned….”, he smiled.

“Taiga….san”, Kyouka hugged him.

“What just happened?”, Gray whispered to Erza.

“Who knows?”, Erza smiled.

Flashback

“Kyouka!”, Taiga started running towards the mountain before Erza stopped him.

“I won’t let you pass”, Erza pointed her sword to him.

“Let me pass”, Taiga looked determined.

“Not until this is all over”, Erza replied.

“You don’t understand. Her anger is too powerful. It took control of her. That child, doesn’t know what she’s capable of. I can’t let it end like this, let me through”, Taiga attacked her.

“If you’re so worried about her, why did you let her do all this?”, Erza landed a kick on him. “You should have stopped her!”, she shouted.

“I tried to stop her. I tried to stop her a long time ago! She’s too powerful. Her words even more! She took control of my mind as well! Now, the mist is going to break free because of her!”

“What?!”

“She’s capable of breaking the barrier herself. If I don’t stop her now, she’ll die!”, Taiga angrily said.

“I thought some of you were just afraid of her”

“I’m not afraid of her nor am I afraid of her powers. I’m afraid that she’s going to kill herself out of rage. That girl, when I saw her and founded a guild with her, I promised to keep that girl in track”, Taiga was bleeding due to his wounds that Erza gave him.

“You….”

“That girl, her eyes were so sad when I saw her. I can’t let her take this road. Not when I have something to do with it”

“Why are you so concerned about her?”, Erza asked, she already took away her sword.

“I experienced the same thing as her. I’m a survivor”, he said.

End of Flashback

“Taiga-san”, Kyouka cried.

“Hey!”, some Silent Reapers stood and looked angrily at her.

“You wench! You used us!”, some were readying themselves to attack. Taiga protected her.

“Stop it. She already said sorry didn’t she?”, Taiga defended.

“It’s not enough!”, they said.

“Hey!”, Yuuya’s voice was heard the loudest.

“Yuuya!”, they apprehended.

“I’m angry too!”, he said and walked towards Taiga and Kyouka.

“Yu-Yuuya….you...”

“Hey someone stop them!”, Natsu asked.

“This is getting harder by the minute”, Gray said.

“They’re breaking free”, Juvia said.

Natsu was about to put Romeo down to stop Silent Reaper’s actions when Lucy stopped him.

“No”, Lucy held him back.

“But they’ll….”

“Just watch, Natsu”, she said. With one look in her eyes, Natsu got what she’s trying to say.

“Yuuya, let’s do her good! She owe us our lives!”, they said.

“Yeah! She manipulated us with her magic!”, some of them scowled.

“That’s a little….”, Taiga was about to interrupt when Yuuya stood in front of him.

“Yuuya….you…..”, Taiga looked at him angrily, holding Kyouka safely behind him.

“Yuuya if Taiga-san wants to protect her then just defeat him and take her!”, one of them said.

“If you want her, you’ll have to go through me first”, Taiga said.

Yuuya smirked and then turned around, his back facing the both of them.

“Yuuya-kun…”, Kyouka gasped in surprise.

“What is the meaning of this Yuuya?!”, the other Silent Reapers angrily shouted out.

“I pledged my loyalty to Kyouka-san and this guild. It’s true that I was afraid of her powers, I admit she’s very powerful. That is the truth but….”, Yuuya turned to look at her and smiled. “That WAS before. All this time I’ve stayed by her side and grew up with her, I found some good things about her too”

“What the heck?”

Gray whistled provocatively.

“Oh boy…it’s getting intense around here”, Levy smiled.

“Their guild just gotten more interesting”, Gajeel grinned.

“Sorry guys but…if you really want to get even with her then you’ll have to go past us first”, Yuuya said.

“Yuuya…..”, some were speechless, some just sighed.

“Darn it, if you didn’t side with her we would have had a chance with Taiga-san”

“Why do they still want to be with that girl?!”

“If you really want to go you are free to do so. No one’s stopping you! She never used her magic to manipulate you guys in the first place. It’s just your fears that stopped you”, Taiga said.

“Warren…”, Erza looked at him with a questionable look.

“No good”, Warren said.

“Try again”, Erza ordered.

Kyouka stepped in to have a word with them.

“Kyouka!”, taiga was about to stoo her and shield her again when….

“It’s alright Taiga-jiisan”, she said flatly. “Yuuya-kun, can I have a say on the matter?”

Yuuya sighed and let her past him too. He stepped aside and went behind her.

“I’ll take full responsibility to everything that happened. You’re all right, I am the one at fault. That’s why……”, she bowed in front of all of them. “I ask for all your forgiveness. I know it won’t be that easy to forgive me. The Council is after Silent Reaper and as your Master, I should be the only one to be condemned. All of you…are free to go. Forget everything that has to do with Silent Reaper. All of you…can return to your lives and if you still want to get revenge for what I did, please hit me”

“Kyouka!”, Taiga was about to stop her and beat anyone who tried to do what she said.

“Don’t leave your place Taiga-jiisan! Yuuya-kun you too!”, she shouted. “Please……”

Both hesitated and tried so hard to stay to where they are.

The other Silent Reaper members were looking at each other, anticipating, testing each other on whoever would have enough courage to lay a hand on her.

“Do whatever you want with me”, Kyouka declared.

Erza was just smiling at one side with Levy, Juvia, and Gajeel.

“Argh!”, they all sighed in defeat. “This is even harder than I thought!”

“We can’t even do it after all”

“If you think about it, we’re the ones at fault”

“A guild sticks together”

“No one gets left behind. Burn the past and create a new future. That’s our guild’s motto isn’t it?”

Kyouka lifted her head and looked at them with a surprised face.

“The Council will really get us this time”

“Who cares?! We’ll be dead anyway!”

“We have to get out of here now”

They all started to walk away from the town. Silent Reaper decided to turn themselves in and Fairy Tail is escorting them.

“We really have to get a hold of the Master now or we’ll all die by the next ten minutes”, Gajeel warned.

“Warren please..”, Levy was praying now.

Lucy and Erza helped Wendy. Natsu and Gray were helping Romeo as they walked. Virgo forced her way out to the Human World to help and treat Romeo and Wendy using the Spirit Realm’s medicine. Kyouka was having the same treatment as well.

“I got through!”, Warren announced and stopped walking. Everybody’s eyes are on him in an instant. “Master?!”

Fairy Tail…..

“Master?!”, Warren’s voice was heard.

“Warren?!”, Master Makarov’s eyes widened.

“Master!”, Warren shouted out.

“What’s happening now? You only have less than ten minutes! Please tell me some good news”, Master Makarov didn’t waste another minute. All the other guild members were breathless as they wait for Warren to speak.

“Master, we’re alright. The mist was taken care of. We’re heading back as we speak”

“Good, how many got hurt?”, he asked.

“Romeo and Wendy……they suffered from the mist so as Silent Reaper’s Master”

“Warren!”, Macao grabbed Master Makarov’s shoulder to talk to him as soon as he heard Romeo’s name. “Romeo…..is he alright? Is he….”

“Dad……”, Romeo’s ragged voice echoed.

“Romeo………”, Macao’s tears started flowing.

“I’m fine, Dad. Don’t cry now please? You’re a man aren’t you?”

“Idiot!....”, Macao wiped his tears. “How about Wendy?”

“I-I’m fine Macao-san. I’m sorry for making you all worried”

“Thank goodness”, Macao was able to breathe fine after all the worrying. The same goes for everyone inside Fairy Tail.

“Master?”, Erza joined in.

“What is it?”

“Can you please head towards the Council? Stop them from firing Etherion”

“Leave that to me…”, Master Makarov jumped off the counter. “I expect to have your reports later. Head back now!”

“Understood”, Erza said. The communication was cut-off.

“Laxus, head towards the Council and stop them from firing Etherion”

“Alright, Grandpa”, Laxus turned into lightning and disappeared.

“Jet, I might need your speed right now”, Master Makarov said.

“Alright, this will be a good way to exercise”, Jet smirked and kneeled to the ground.
