Epilogue

(Random person's POV)

Arthur walked towards the newsstand. He never really understood why people preferred to watch the news rather than reading it. He bought one copy and briskly walked back home.

"Did you get the paper, honey?" His wife asked from the kitchen.

"Oh yes. Splendid weather out there."

"It looks like a storm to me."

"Exactly."

Arthur sat on the couch, his tea and scones waiting for him on the mahogany table. He scanned the first page of his newspaper, murmuring bits of information to himself.

"Commander dead... Crew alive... traces of ship found..." He snorted to himself. People these days. Most likely, the commander ran away with the ship and placed deploys, like the corrupt people all around the world.

Arthur's wife came and sat next to him, tea in hand.

"Anything interesting, dear?"

"Of course not. People these days, making up fake news. Some commander was reported 'dead' his crew survived or something and traces of the ship were found." He scoffed and explained his own theory to his wife.

"Hmm... they say that the commander was a very hard working person-"

"And the barber is a donkey."

"Why, you might be right!" His wife sighed, tired of fighting with him everyday. It was just her bad luck that she married this miserable old horse.

Arthur decided he had enough of this bickering. He turned to his cold tea and sighed. Corrupt people, horrible weather and now this- cold tea. The whole world was intent on making him miserable. Being happy just wasn't written in his fate.

His son, Mark, came inside and promptly turned on the news. Mark would do anything to avoid reading.

"One of the most expensive ships are lost, the commander of that ship-"

Mark turned off the TV and shook his head. Commanders and ships and storms. That was old news now. No one gave a care. Also, that commander was a bit loony.

"We are blunders"  he used to say.

What an idiot.

Mark snorted as his little sister came in, almost jumping on him as she shoved something in his face.

"Oh my god! I'm so lucky! Look! I found a four leaved clover!" She jumped around, waving it above her head.

It was, indeed, a very lucky day today.

Ok, guys, I swear, this is the end. the final end. I know know, I have said this a lot of times, but it is. That's it. No more chapters.

So the OC questions the world, and because of that, in the end, the world questions the OC. This goes to show how shallow and judgemental this world this.

If you have any questions for any of the characters, comment them.

Kamera Out!
