I'm in a love with a boy

Who makes me smile at the thought.

A boy who is weird,

He's crazy and he's kind.

I'm in a love with a boy

Who doesn't care what people think.

He lives his life

Doing what he likes.

He gets me like no other,

Understands me to core.

I write him lots of poems

That he likes very much.

I catch him looking at me

And my body's stuck in place.

We never smile,

Never even say hello.

But somehow our words

Connect our hearts as one.

I hope he smiles at my words

Like I smile at him.

He makes me happy

Like I've never been.

When he talks to me

It's like the whole world dissapears.

My problems fade away

And I forget the bad dreams.

For some reason, in him

I find a safe place.

I can be myself

With no worry, not at all.

The times we get talk

My wounds are sealed,

My scars concealed.

I'm in love with a boy

Who's in love with a girl.

This girl doesn't love him,

She probably never will.

She broke his heart

In too many pieces to fix.

Then she flipped him off

Without a single thought.

I still don't understand

How someone like her

Could ditch someone like him.

A boy so sweet and kind,

With such a strong mind.

A boy who cares deeply for his friends,

Loves his mother more than life

And will gladly give me

a shoulder to cry.

All while he's dying inside.

My needs before him,

His needs before me.

What else could you ever

Ask for in a guy?

Loyal, sweet, kind and caring.

Smart, handsome, poet and giving.

The guy I've been looking for

Just before my eyes.

I'm in love with a boy

Who might love me just for me.

I really think he cares

Just like I do for him.

He loves another girl

Who broke him very badly.

And that hurts me gravely

Because I know he might never

Open up his heart

For the girl who truly cares for him,

Who fell so hard for him.
