I was feeling sad,

I was feeling lonely.

I didn't feel like talking,

I didn't feel like walking.

Life didn't make sense,

It actually still doesn't.

But now that I've seen you,

That you've seen me,

It makes a little more sense.

I don't get why this happened,

I thought we were just strangers.

I hadn't laughed in a while,

I hadn't even smiled.

But somehow you did it.

Somehow you changed my mind.

I know it won't last,

Nothing ever does.

But no matter how much time,

Or how little time we have,

I'm glad it was you

Who made me smile,

That made feel free

And made me believe.
