Chapter 3 - The New CCP

Classes seemed to drag on forever until it was time for lunch. Yes! It's time to eat!

You stopped by your locker to leave some of your books behind. You accidentally bumped into a girl writing on a notebook with a jean pocket on the cover. Her locker is at the right side of Mackenzie's locker.

"Whoops!" She exclaimed. "I'm so sorry!"

"It's ok. I'm fine." You said. For a moment, you stared at the notebook she was writing on.

"Nice notebook you got there." You commented.

"Oh. Um, this is my... my personal, uh-dictionary!" The girl replied nervously.

You gave her a weird look. "Uh... Ok."

"I gotta go..." She said as she ran out of the hallway towards the lunch room.

"That girl is a bit strange..." You said to yourself. "I didn't even get to catch her name. She looks really nice, though. Oh well..."

Nikki's POV

Phew! That was close! That CCP girl almost got me! She looks like a nice girl though. Unlike the other CCP girls. (Who, BTW, made fun of my T-shirt and told me that I bought it from McDonald's. Those meanies!)

I didn't even know why I lied to that girl by saying that my diary is a dictionary. Maybe it's because I am afraid that she would make fun of me if she found out that I have a diary or something.

OMG! I can't believe that I almost forgot to introduce myself! My name is Nikki Maxwell. I just transferred to WCD thanks to my dad. I'm just a scholar in this school. We can't really afford the super expensive tuition.

Honestly, I wish my dad didn't enrolled me in this school. Why? BECAUSE IT'S HORRIBLE!

The students in this school treat me like CRAP! No one bothered to say Hi to me when I walked down the hallways this morning. It's like I'm invisible or something!

The only people who noticed me are the CCPs. What did they do? They make fun of me!

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish someone in this stupid school will be friends with me. I hate being a loner. Having no friends sucks more than having no phones or having a crappy phone. (And that's saying something 'cause I want to have a cool new phone since FOREVER!)

Well, I gotta go now. I hope someone will eat with me now that it's lunch time...

You entered the cafeteria and scanned the room to look for the CCP table. Once you spotted them, you made your way towards their table.

"There you are!" Mackenzie exclaimed. "We were waiting for you, hon. Sit there right next to Jessica."

You sat next to Jessica and started the eating your lunch.

As you were eating, Mackenzie handed you a pink card with a white satin bow tied around it.

"What's this for?" You asked.

"It's an invitation for my birthday bash this year, hon." Mackenzie answered. "It's going to be the biggest party of the year."

"You have to come, (Y/N)! All the CCPs are coming too." Jessica remarked.

"Okay." You replied, taking the invitation from Mackenzie's hands "I'll go."

"Fabulous!" Mackenzie cried. "But before that, we must give you a make-over."

"Why?" You asked, slightly offended. "What's wrong with my outfit?"

"Well, it's kinda cute. But you need something more chic if you want to fit in with us." Mackenzie said.

"Uh...ok. If you say so..." You replied.

"Good! Meet us at the mall at Saturday afternoon. Prepare for some shopping!" Mackenzie exclaimed excitedly. "I'll pay for everything myself so you don't need to shell out some cash."

You smiled. "Thanks! But you don't have to pay for everything..."

"I insist hon. Besides, you really need this make-over. That lavender top is so last season."

You looked at your top. You seriously don't find anything wrong with it. But you decided to go along with Mackenzie. You don't want to contradict with her 'cause she seems like the type of girl who will get you into trouble if you decided to do something she doesn't like.

After all of you are done eating, you all got up to pick up a few things from your lockers and walk to your next classes.

A/N: Sort of fill-in chapter. It's supposed to be longer but it's almost time for me to sleep at the time I was writing this . I'll cut the Saturday shopping part because I don't want the next chapter to be another fill-in chapter.
