(The small village of Santa Elena lies perched on a cliffside, overlooking the infinite expanse of the ocean. The air tastes of salt and doom as Rosalinda stands on the edge of the village square, her wide, unblinking eyes fixed on the horizon.)

Rosalinda (whispering to herself): They are coming. Like shadows on the wind, they will burn us all.

(The villagers bustle around her, laughing, unaware of the storm gathering just beyond their vision. Don Camilo, a stout man with a puffed chest, approaches her, his voice booming over the crowd.)

Don Camilo (mockingly): And what do your little stars tell you today, child? Will the rains flood our streets or the fish swim on land?

𝐃𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐨 & 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚

Rosalinda (eyes fixed on the sky): Fire will fall from the sky. The sea will rise in blood.

Your blood!

.................................

(Don Camilo laughs, waving her off, but his laughter is drowned by the sudden, deafening roar of cannons. The frighten villagers freeze, eyes wide with terror, as dark ships appear on the horizon, their sails marked with the crest of General Valdez.)

Don Camilo (panicked): To arms! Everyone, to arms!

(Mayhem erupts as soldiers pour into the streets, their swords gleaming in the midday sun. The villagers scramble to defend their homes, but they are no match for the ruthless violence of Valdez's men. The air is thick with the smell of gunpowder and the cries of the dying.)

(Rosalinda, untouched by the battle, walks through the battle like a ghost, her steps steady as flames lick the rooftops.)

Rosalinda (softly, as the flames grow): I told you. The blood has come.

(As she speaks, the cliffs beneath the village begin to rumble, the earth cracking open. The sea rises, frothing and red, as the village begins to collapse into the ocean. Santa Elena starts to crumble, swallowed by the waves and fire, while Rosalinda stands unmoved, and silent. Atop a hill, staring at her prophecy fulfilled.)

EXT. SANTA ELENA - NIGHT

The burning village is now a vision of hell. Buildings have collapsed, flames dance on rooftops, while the screams of the dying haunt the wretched night. Smoke swirls around Rosalinda, her face illuminated by the fire. Amidst the disaster, a new, darker presence emerges.

EXT. HARBOR - NIGHT

From the blackened sea, a small boat arrives unnoticed in the night. It carries Captain Ortega, a grim man with a rugged face, and his crew of deserters-mercenaries who have abandoned General Valdez's tyranny but now seek their own gain. Ortega's sharp eyes scan the village, narrowing as he sees the devastation. Beside him, Elena, a young woman with sharp wit and eyes as deep as the ocean, watches in silence. She has a history with Santa Elena, one she's kept secret from the crew.

𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐚

Captain Ortega: (coldly) Santa Elena burns. There is nothing left for us here.

Elena: (gazing at the cliffs) There's always something left in the ashes.

EXT. SANTA ELENA VILLAGE SQUARE - NIGHT

Amidst the burning ruins, Don Camilo stumbles through the wreckage. His pride has collapsed with the village, and his once-booming voice is now hoarse with fear. He grabs a fallen sword and looks around desperately. Rosalinda watches him, her gaze as cold as the night.

Don Camilo: (frantic) Help me, child! For the love of God, help me!

Rosalinda: (her voice calm, almost otherworldly) It's too late. You didn't listen.

Suddenly, the ground beneath them trembles, but it's not the quake of collapsing earth. A low rumble, deeper and more terrifying, rolls in from the sea. Captain Ortega and his crew are now ashore, watching from the shadows.

Captain Ortega: (to Elena) There's something more than fire coming.

Elena nods. She knows this place-she can feel the secrets buried beneath its ruins.

EXT. CLIFFSIDE - NIGHT

At the edge of the village, high on the cliffs overlooking the sea, General Valdez stands in full military regalia, untouched by the fire and destruction. His men surround him, a fortress of steel and cruelty. He gazes at the destruction below with a smirk of satisfaction. Behind him, Father Matteo, the village priest, stands chained, eyes wide with fear.

𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐳

General Valdez: (laughing) Let them burn. This place was always destined for ash.

Father Matteo: (struggling) You're damning them! You're damning us all!

Valdez chuckles as if the priest's words are a joke. But then something shifts in the air. The ground beneath Valdez and his soldiers begins to tremble-not like before, but a slow, deliberate pulse from the earth itself.

Suddenly, one of the soldiers drops to his knees, clutching his chest, then another, and another. They begin to convulse, eyes wide in horror. Valdez steps back, startled. The last soldier standing falls to the ground, revealing Rosalinda, who has appeared behind them, silent as death.

Rosalinda: (whispering) You didn't listen either.

Valdez's eyes narrow as he studies the girl. His arrogance is momentarily replaced by uncertainty. The priest, sensing something dark and ancient at play, crosses himself hurriedly.

General Valdez: (growling) You think your tricks can scare me, child?

But Rosalinda says nothing. Instead, the ground beneath them splits open, revealing a chasm filled with black water. From the depths, something begins to rise.

EXT. VILLAGE SQUARE - NIGHT

Back in the village, Don Camilo watches in horror as the sea swells unnaturally high. Captain Ortega and Elena make their way through the debris, Ortega scanning for anything of value.

Captain Ortega: (grimly) We need to get out of here.

Elena, however, has paused, staring intently at something in the distance. Rosalinda, standing perfectly still near the cliff's edge, her hair whipping in the violent wind.

Elena: (alarmed) That child... she's not normal!

Suddenly, a massive wave crashes against the cliffs, spraying salt water high into the air. Elena and Ortega dive for cover, but the force is more than just a wave-it's as if the sea itself is alive, reaching hungrily toward the village.

INT. UNDERGROUND CAVERN - NIGHT

Deep beneath the cliffs, in a hidden underground chamber, Father Matteo is dragged by General Valdez's remaining soldiers. His chains clatter against the stone floor as they descend further into the earth. The walls are covered in ancient symbols, marking a forgotten past.

Father Matteo: (gasping) You don't understand what you're doing! There are forces here that you cannot control!

General Valdez: (sneering) Forces? You talk of superstition, priest. I deal in power.

As they enter a vast underground room, they see it-a towering, ancient statue of a sea god, its stone face cracked and eroded by time, but still exuding a terrifying presence. The chamber is filled with the smell of salt and decay.

Valdez: (eyes gleaming) This is what will give me power. This village was built on the bones of an empire, and I will claim it all.

But as he approaches the statue, the ground shakes violently. A voice, not human, echoes through the chamber.

Rosalinda: The blood price must be paid.

Suddenly, the soldiers collapse, one by one, their bodies crumbling to dust. Valdez stares in horror as their lifeless forms dissolve, leaving only him and the terrified priest.

Father Matteo: (whispering) You've awakened something that cannot be undone...

EXT. SANTA ELENA - NIGHT

Above ground, pandemonium reigns. The sea has risen unnaturally high, swallowing the lower parts of the village. Captain Ortega, Elena, and the remaining survivors fight against the pull of the ocean as they try to escape.

Elena: (shouting over the roar) We need to leave, now!

But Rosalinda, standing at the cliff's edge, does not move. She gazes out to the horizon where dark shapes begin to emerge from the water. They are not ships-they are something much older, much darker.

𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚

Rosalinda: (whispering) The sea takes what it is owed!

"Beware!"

Suddenly, Don Camilo appears behind her, crazed and desperate. He grabs her by the shoulders, shaking her violently.

Don Camilo: (screaming) You did this! You cursed us all!

But Rosalinda remains calm, her eyes fixed on the horizon.

Rosalinda: (whispers) You didn't listen, so suffer the consequence.

With a scream, Don Camilo raises his sword to strike her, but before he can, the ground beneath him splits open.
A massive fissure runs through the village, swallowing buildings and people alike. Don Camilo stumbles backward into the abyss, his scream fading into the darkness.

EXT. CLIFFSIDE - NIGHT

From the depths of the ocean, the ancient figures begin to rise-dark, towering shapes, remnants of a forgotten time. Elena stares in horror as Trident gods emerge, their eyes glowing with an unnatural light.

Captain Ortega: (staring in disbelief) What in God's name...?

Elena: (voice trembles) Not God. Something much older, ancient!

As the creatures rise, the sea itself seems to come alive, crashing violently against the cliffs, as if trying to reclaim what was once lost. The air is thick with salt and death.

Suddenly, from the top of the cliffs, a single cannon fires. General Valdez, standing alone, laughs maniacally as the cannonball sails toward the rising sea god.

But as it strikes, the Trident gods merely absorbs the impact. The water ripples, and then, with a deafening roar, a massive wave rises higher than any before.

General Valdez: (screaming) No! This cannot be!

The wave crashes down, obliterating the remains of Santa Elena, sweeping away Valdez, his soldiers, and the village itself in one fell swoop. The ocean, now red with blood, swallows everything.

EXT. OCEAN - DAWN

In the aftermath, there is silence. The village is gone, nothing but a faint memory beneath the waves.

Rosalinda, alone on a piece of driftwood, floats quietly. Her eyes, still unblinking, look toward the horizon.

Rosalinda: (resolute) It's done. The sea has taken what it was owed.

In the distance, Captain Ortega and Elena drift on a small boat, watching the remnants of the village disappear beneath the water.

Elena: (softly) It was never about the village. It was about the price.

Ortega looks at her, confused, but says nothing. The two of them, along with the girl, drift into the unknown, the sea stretching endlessly before them.

The curse of Santa Elena has been fulfilled, but the shadows of the sea never truly disappear. What was once lost will rise again.
