~Rhys' POV~

"Cassius....works for Atlas," Chase said.

"Wait, are you serious?" Sasha asked.

"We saw his file when we disabled the security system," I said.

"You lying Atlas piece of shit!" Athena yelled and held her sword up to Cassius' throat.

"You tricked me into killing my sister!" She shouted.

"What a minute, Athena!" Chase intervened.

"Don't do this," Fiona said.

"Fiona, what would you do if you were tricked into killing Sasha? And Rhys, what would you do if Atlas killed Chase?" I was shocked that she brought Chase and I into this.

"I would want revenge, but I wouldn't kill someone who has no clue who she is," Fiona said.

"I would want to kill the people who killed her, but I know Chase wouldn't agree with me," I said.

"This isn't right! The only ones to blame for killing your sister are the ones who lied to you about her. Cassius has already lost everything. Athena, put your weapon down. You'll be killing and innocent man who had nothing to do with your sister," Chase said.

"I can't let you do this either," Fiona said and grabbed Athena's arm. She sighed and put her weapon away. She steps away from Cassius.

"You're both right. Thank you," she said.

"I am sorry about your sister. I am also grateful you two," Cassius said to Chase and Fiona.

"Wait, do you hear that?" Vaughn asked. It sounded like yelling.

"What is that?" Sasha asked. A man broke in and charged at Athena. Both of them went flying out of a window.

"Athena!" Fiona went to the broken window. Something wraps around her legs and Fiona falls out the window.

"Fi!" Sasha yelled.

"Don't tell me...." Chase said.

"W-what?" I asked.

"It's got to be Vallory. Who else would be after us?" Chase said.

"W-what do we do?" Vaughn asked. Chase went to the broken window.

"Get down!" She yelled. Rockets were fired through the window. Then, everything goes black.

I groan and rub my head. I sit up and look around.

"Chase? Vaughn?" I yell. I look up and see both of them in a tree. They weren't moving at all.

"What's going on?" I ask.

"Oh, well, what's going on is you finally finding out what happens when you trust your friends over me," Jack said when he appeared.

"Hey, kid. Remember me?" Vallory walks through a broken piece of glass with a rocket launcher. Two men grab my arms and force me to my knees.

"Well, I'm going back to the safety of your head. Let's just hope that if you get killed, I'll still be alive," Jack said and disappeared.

"Where's Gortys? I'm only going to ask once," she said and stood in front of me.

"Oh, piss off. I'm sick and tired of you ruining everything for us," I snapped. She punched me in the stomach. I groaned in pain.

"Is that my Gortys in that heap of scrap?" Vallory asked.

"August. Go get it," she ordered.

"Fine," he said. Then, Chase fell off the tree and started strangling Vallory.

"Hey, how's it going?" She said with a smirk.

"Get off of me!" Vallory yelled.

"Oh, I don't think so," she said. I punched the guys who were restraining me.

"Rhys, get Gortys out of here. I'll stall her for as long as I can," Chase said.

"I can't leave you here! And Vaughn is still out of it," I protested.

"Leave Vaughn to me. Get out of here, Rhys!" She ordered.

"What do we do?" Gortys asked when Ren popped out of LB's hands.

"Run!!" I yelled.

"Okey dokey!" She sped off. Then, August got into the truck and started chasing after her.

"Good luck, Rhys!" I heard Chase say when I started running.

~Chase's POV~

I keep my grip on Vallory and watch Rhys run away.

"You're stronger than you look," Vallory said.

"I surprise myself sometimes," I said.

"And so do I." Vallory threw me off her and aimed the rocket launcher at me. She fired it and the missiles head straight towards me.

"Watch out!" Vaughn tackled me and we rolled out of the way.

"Vaughn, I want you to run. I can't let you get hurt," I said as we hid behind a tree.

"If I leave you, Rhys will kill me!" He said.

"I'll be fine. I'm replaceable, you're not. Now, go!" I shove him in the direction Rhys ran.

"None of us are replaceable, especially you. Rhys needs you. I'll run but make sure you don't get hurt," he said and took off. What he said made my chest feel warm.

"Come on out!" Vallory shouts. I jump out and kick her legs out from underneath her. She glares at me and aims at me again. I didn't have time to react and she fires. Instead of rockets, a net flew out and wrapped around my body. It weighed me down and I couldn't move.

"I'll come back for you later," she said and left.

"Where did she get this thing?!" I try to move around. An idea struck me.

"Almost forgot about the new code Rhys gave me. It's a good time to try it out." I transformed into my cybernetic body. The net was easy to move now. I stood up and examined myself.

"Wow, this is so....cool!!" I cheer. My whole body was cybernetics. A new code scrolled through my eyes.

"Is this the code that was glitched?" I access the code and my body starts transforming again. When the code was done, my body was completely different. I was no longer in a human form. I was on four legs but I was still made out of cybernetics. I found a puddle and saw what I looked like.

"No freakin' way...." The puddle revealed a mechanical wolf.

"Okay, no time to freak out. I need to help the others." I ran as fast as I could which was faster than Gortys. I run through the jungle and follow the tire tracks.

~Fiona's POV~

Vallory tossed her rocket launcher and it landed right on me. It was too heavy for me to move. Rhys, Sasha, and Athena have been captured. The only two I don't see are Chase and Vaughn.

"Rhys, where's Chase and Vaughn?" I ask since he's close by.

"They're still in there," he said. Vallory was talking with the Vault Hunters.

"Men, go get the other girl. She looks like she could be useful." Vallory must be talking about Chase.

"What did you do to her?!" Rhys yelled in anger.

"Oh, don't worry your head over her," Vallory replied.

"What's that weird noise?" Sasha asked.

"What the hell?" I look around. It sounds like something is running towards us at high speed. Suddenly, a cybernetic wolf ran through the hole in the dome's side.

"What the hell is that?!" Sasha asked. The wolf attacked Vallory and bit her arm.

"Get this damn thing off of me!!" She yells. Her men try to help her but the wolf knocks them out. Vallory pulled something out and was about to attack.

"Look out!" I yelled. I was too late. Vallory shocked the wolf and it started to scream.

"Is that?" Sasha asked.

"Stop!" Rhys yelled. Vallory kept shocking the wolf.

"You're going to kill her!" Rhys kept yelling.

"Do you know who it is?" I ask quickly.

"It's Chase!" He replied.

"Wait, since when can Chase turn into a wolf?" Sasha asked.

"It must've been part of the new code I gave her," Rhys answered through gritted teeth. Vallory stopped shocking Chase and stepped away.  Chase's body went back to her human form.

"Let go!" Rhys yelled at the men who were holding him.

"Let him go. We have all of them. They can't escape," Vallory said. Rhys ran to Chase as soon as the guards cut his ropes and let go of his arms.

~Chase's POV~

Vallory just got done torturing me with electricity. It was so powerful, it knocked me back to my human body. I landed on the ground. Electricity was still flowing through me. My body jolted at random intervals because of the electricity that was still in my body. The pain was unbearable. My head fell to the side and I saw Rhys running towards me. He slid on his knees and stopped right by me.

"Hey, hey. Chase, can you hear me?" He asked. I nodded slightly.

"Okay, just look at me," he said. Rhys pulled me into his arms and examined me. When he moved his hand, it was covered with blood.

"Oh, god....." He said and looked at the blood with fear in his eyes.

"T-that's a lot of blood," he said.

"Hey! We need someone's help over here!" He yelled. Vallory let Sasha go and she joins Rhys.

"What's wrong, Rhys?" She asked.

"S-she's losing way too much blood. D-do you have anything to stop it?" He asked her. Sasha pulled out some pieces of cloth and soaked up the blood. She stopped the bleeding with a few bandages.

Rhys was scared and worried because his voice kept shaking. My eye lids were growing heavy and I wanted to sleep. Rhys noticed this and started to cry a little.

"N-no, no, no!! Don't close your eyes, Chase! Just focus on me!" He said and put his hands on my cheeks. My body jolted again and I lost consciousness. Before I fainted, I heard Gortys.

"The last piece is up there."
