"I miss you. Why did you leave me?", he texted her.

Seeing that message, her eyes became moist and she wrote,"I missed you every moment when we were together. But were you really there for me? No, just your promises were, the promises which you never fulfilled."

But then, some other emotion overpowered her and she erased the entire message.

Instead, she typed,"We are still friends. I won't leave your side ever. Our relationship was spoiling our friendship too. Better be good friends than the lovers who hardly speak to eachother."

"You and your friendship!", hurt and anger was clearly evident from his reply.

"How did you notice my absence now when you could not acknowledge my presence in your life ever?",she wanted to shout at him but knew it was of no use now. She would end up hurting herself only.

In nine months of their relationship, she had spent six fighting with him, pleading him for a little bit attention. The way he treated him, she felt unwanted. She felt as if she was forcing herself on him.

'A little flower', he had called her once. She tried to explain him that without love and care, even the flowers die.

But then, she decided she won't ask for his attention now and won't even give any.

That day, she had written her last message to him,"I am not blaming you for anything but I feel we were closer to eachother when we were just friends. I want to end this relationship from now onwards, though you can always find me by your side as your 'old friend'. All the best for your future. Goodbye!"

As a reply, she had got just a smiley from him that day which had shattered her heart in millions of pieces.

And today, when she got a message from him, a million emotions were scratching her heart. She felt happy that he finally realised her absence but at the same time, she was afraid, afraid to get all that pain again.

So, instead of replying him, she just switched off her phone.
