"What a girl she is! Full of life and energy!", he said when he saw her the first time..

First day of college it was. "New friends, new environment and a fresh start" were the words one could think of to describe the day.

"Hey! I am Rishabh, Btech, second year, and thereby, your senior", he said, trying to initiate a conversation with the girl who was a fresher.

"Hey Rishabh. I am Karuna.", she replied politely with a smile pasted on her face.

Little did he know that the smile meant something else! As he held her hand to shake it, an electric current passed through his hand and he pulled his hand back with a jerk.

What followed was just Karuna's laughter which, to Rishabh's surprise, didn't feel like less than a song to his ears.

She removed the device pasted cleverly on her hand and held her ears.

"Sorry Rishabh. Actually every year seniors do some pranks with freshers but I thought to do something different in my turn.", she said trying to suppress her laughter now.

And all Rishabh could do was to smile and smile and smile. This first meeting had left such an imprint on his heart which was hard to erase.

Time passed in its own stride and with this passing time, both of them became really good friends. Though they were in different classes, still they used to hangout together, had fun, share joys and sorrows together.

One day, Rishabh decided to confess his feelings for her. But shy and introvert as he was, it was extremely difficult for him to do so.

As he had to propose Karuna, he thought of asking for the best way to confess from her only!

The next day, he started looking for Karuna everywhere in the college and found her sitting alone in the shade of a tree in the garden, eating a chocolate or more like licking it from her fingers just like a small kid.

Others might have felt that the way she looked like was gross but maybe he thought a little bit different.

"God! She is so cute and adorable..",he thought to himself.

He went near her and spoke," Karuna, I want a suggestion from you."

"Yeah say",she said while licking chocolate from her fingers.

"How should a guy propose a girl?",he blurted out.

As a response he just got a cough followed by surprised look, and then a loud laughter.

"Proposal huh? First of all tell me who the girl is whom you want to propose.", she asked mischieviously, all set to pull his leg.

"What? Who...who told you that I want to propose? I was just asking...", he said averting his eyes and trying to hide the commotion inside his heart. But the colour that was spreading on his cheeks was betraying him.

"Liar! Stop blushing and tell me the truth. Otherwise you will pay for hiding information from your bestfriend.",she said while moving her fingers in a wicked way.

From past experience, he knew he was now going to become a victim of 'The Tickle Attack' and he started running here and there to protect himself.

"Okay Okay! I am tired now!", Rishabh said after a while, still trying to get hold of his breath.

"Lets do a deal, you tell me how to propose, and I will tell you who the girl is.", he said.

"Okay. So what I think is that you should just look into her eyes and tell her what you truly feel about her. Girls like other things also- like flowers, chocolates etc etc but what matters the most is how you feel for her. So just go and confess your feelings in front of her and forget about the rest.", she replied..

"Wow! An idiot like you can have such kind of thoughts. I can't believe this!", he said with a hint of mischief in his eyes.

As a result, he was awarded a hit on his head!

"Now it's your turn you idiot! Spill it out! Who is the poor girl who will have to bear you all through her life?", she asked.

"How can you be so sure that she will agree to bear me for a lifetime?", he asked with a little bit of doubt evident in his voice.

She looked at him with an unreadable expression, an expression which could speak volumes, but still did not disclose anything.

"The answer to that question will be given to you after you answer my question.", she said tearing her gaze away from him for a moment.

He took a deep breathe and then held her hand. Karuna instantly looked at him, surprised at his gesture..

"Karuna, I don't know what you will think or how you will react but I could not wait any longer now.

You are the girl who can give electric currents to me even without that stupid toy you used the first time we met. You are the girl who has blown away my mind and my heart in one go. You are the girl with whom every second becomes worth living. You are the girl with whom I want to be forever. You are the girl I love truly and deeply. You are the girl I never want to lose. The girl you are asking about is none other than YOU only! I love you....", and he was speaking and speaking and speaking when Karuna put a finger on his lips.

"Idiot! Because of you I was getting jealous of myself only since last half an hour. You have crossed the limits of craziness. In order to propose me, you were asking suggestions from me only?", she spoke while hitting him lightly on his head again.

"Well, now that I know who the girl is, it's my turn to answer your question. You asked me how I can be so sure that the girl would agree to bear you for a lifetime.

That's because even I love you. And if a crazy girl like me can fall for you then how can any other girl resist your charm?", she said with a spark in her eyes and hugged him.

"Charm huh? Well if you ask me, it's you who has got the real charm. A love charm", he said and placed a kiss on her forehead.

A/N: I had written this story a long long time ago and found it in my drafts today. I know it's on another level of cheesiness but well, who doesn't love a pizza with some extra cheese? :-D
